Chapter 3

"Service Start Commemorative Gift has been added to the Gift Box"

"Beginner Support Login Bonus has been added to the Gift Box"

With nothing to do, I was eating a tangerine when a notification suddenly arrived from the system.

The tangerine was juicy and very delicious.

Well, it's troublesome, but I'll check them one by one.

Service Start Commemorative Gift!

Thank you for using the Gacha System.

This service is starting today, and as a special gift for users who played during the initial service period, we are presenting a gift. Please keep drawing the Gacha and develop the planet!

Gift: SR Guaranteed Coin

I see. I immediately selected the SR Coin from the Gift Box, and it materialized in front of me, enveloped in light.

I took the coin and examined it. It was about the size of a ten-yen coin, with "SR" written on one side, and it seemed to be made of metal. Unfortunately, that's all there was.

But more importantly, the planet. A planet.

"Please develop the planet." But I have no idea what planet to develop.

However, this system should know. I selected the Help Glossary, and sure enough, "Planet" had been added.

My hypothesis that entries related to things I've seen or words I've encountered would be added seems to be correct.

"Planet"

Cannot be viewed at this time.

What? It can't be viewed? This system is really a piece of junk.

The help isn't even useful.

This is probably, but I think it will be unlocked later as a reward for achieving certain milestones.

... I have a lot to think about, but next, next.

Beginner Support Login Bonus!

Good morning, this is the management. How are you?

We have prepared a special gift for all participants in this game! Keep drawing the Gacha!

2 liters of water in 100 PET bottles

When I selected it, a cardboard box appeared next to the Gacha with a thud.

I just saw it. It appeared suddenly in the air.

The credibility of my theory about a death game for the ultra-rich is rapidly declining. This isn't a death game. It's something bigger, something that transcends common sense.

Moreover, I'm probably not the only one. The message mentions game participants, so there are likely others in the same situation. I need to find a way to contact them.

The hope for breaking the current situation lies in this golden SR Coin.

The highest rarity so far has been an R toilet. I don't expect much, but please, something amazing, something useful, come to me!

Thud

It came, a golden capsule! Please, let something useful come! Specifically, food!

"Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh, burned on August 6, 1945"

With a thud, it appeared.

Unlike before, it didn't fall from somewhere but was displayed as if it were stuck to the wall.

In this room with only junk and the Gacha, there was a mysterious charm that captivated anyone who saw it.

The sunflowers, which I had only seen in art textbooks and on TV.

No, that's not it, that's not what I need right now, even though it's amazing.

"Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh, burned on August 6, 1945"

Vincent van Gogh painted seven sunflowers from August 1888 to January 1890.

The second work was purchased by businessman Kumaichi Yamamoto in 1920 but was burned during a U.S. air raid in World War II, as I learned from a detective movie.

So what is this?

Advanced intelligent life forms.

They deemed the current political leaders of Earth unworthy of ruling and stripped them of their right to govern.

This right is to be contested by a thousand selected humans, with the winner being granted the right to rule.

Everyone was captivated by the images projected in the sky, and the video site created by the advanced intelligent life forms, accessible via the internet.

The thousand selected individuals were initially confused but were given explanations of the situation by a navigator and provided with abilities and items.

They used their abilities to develop the given planets.

By nightfall, all players and their abilities and items were known to everyone.

However, there was one person.

He couldn't understand the current situation, and the item he was given was not impressive.

Yamada Ryu. Japanese. Given item: [Gacha].
