(Thank you to the book friend "♂Feiyu" for your generous support, I bow! During the new book period, every bit of support from everyone is extremely important to Wei Yu Qian Xiao. I'm rolling on the ground, begging for all kinds of support!)

After Brother Li left, Chen Mo closed the glass door and then dragged out a wooden box from a corner of the room. When he opened the box, it was clearly filled with some computer parts and tools used for repairing computers.

This box contained the parts that Brother Li had replaced from the computers. Most people who run computer specialty stores also know how to repair computers. Of course, the so-called repair here means directly replacing the faulty components on the customer's computer. For example, if a ribbon cable on the motherboard has a problem, replacing the cable can solve the issue, but merchants often replace the entire motherboard to make more money.

Brother Li usually did this, which doesn't necessarily mean he was greedy; it was just the way the industry worked.

The soldering iron, capacitors, and other tools in the box were all bought by Chen Mo himself. He had learned to use these tools when repairing televisions and radios. Seeing so many discarded computer parts in Brother Li's store, he couldn't help but feel itchy and asked Brother Li to sell him these replaced parts.

Brother Li, of course, knew that many of these parts had only minor issues and could be repaired and reused, but he didn't have the skills or the time to deal with them, so he sold them to Chen Mo, leaving it to Chen Mo to handle as he pleased.

After obtaining these parts, Chen Mo began to study them. Every night, he would carefully examine the parts, often staying up until one or two in the morning. Even so, Chen Mo was still energetic at work the next day, so Brother Li, after a bit of worry, let him do as he pleased.

After dragging out the wooden box, Chen Mo first picked up a computer chip and examined it carefully. One of the chip's sockets was faulty, and Chen Mo's task was to repair it.

This was not an easy job. Compared to televisions, computers have a higher level of integration, and the electronic components are much smaller. Without professional equipment, it would be impossible for an ordinary person to repair a chip, but Chen Mo wanted to give it a try.

He didn't have his own computer yet, not because he couldn't afford one, but because he wanted to build one himself.

This might sound unbelievable, as computers are so intricate that it would be impossible for an ordinary person to build one. However, Chen Mo believed it was possible because his idea of building a computer was to repair broken parts and then assemble them.

Of course, during the assembly process, he would try to implement his various ideas about computers, such as the multi-core operation issue he had discussed with Brother Li.

Chen Mo carefully examined the computer chip in his hand and then began to work. After about ten minutes of meticulous operation, he replaced the faulty socket on the chip. The finished chip looked like it had a glaring patch, but Chen Mo was very happy. He smiled and said, "This is the fifth computer chip I've repaired. I wonder how fast the computer would run if I installed five chips?"

After saying this, Chen Mo pulled out another box from under the counter. Inside the box was a very strange object, divided into four parts, connected by many dense lines. If someone who knew about computers saw this, they would be amazed: "Wow! This is a combination of four computer motherboards and chips! How did you connect them together?!"

Chen Mo carefully took out the combination from the box and then found a repaired motherboard from the wooden box, starting to connect it to the combination.

After about twenty minutes, Chen Mo completed the connection and then inserted the newly repaired chip onto the motherboard. He laughed and said, "Ha! The combination of five chips is done!"

Looking at the complex combination, Chen Mo's face was full of anticipation. He smiled and said, "Next, I need to keep going! I won't assemble the computer until I have ten chips!"

Chen Mo had big ambitions, wanting to build a computer with ten chips. He was indeed a very creative person.

Just as Chen Mo was laughing at his creation, someone knocked on the glass door of the shop.

Chen Mo turned around and saw a woman pressing her head against the glass door, looking inside. When she saw Chen Mo, her face lit up with joy, and she waved at him.

Chen Mo had forgotten to pull down the curtains when he closed the door. It was already dark outside, but the shop was still lit. The woman likely saw the light and Chen Mo, so she knocked on the door.

Chen Mo immediately put away his treasures and removed the chain from the door. As soon as he opened the door a crack, the woman outside pleaded, "Boss, my computer has a problem. Can you help me fix it?"

Under normal circumstances, Chen Mo wouldn't take orders when Brother Li wasn't around. He was officially just a helper, and such tasks were not part of his job. If he took private orders, Brother Li might misunderstand and think he was profiting on the side, which would jeopardize his job.

Chen Mo apologized, "I'm really sorry, but we're closed today. You should try another store."

The woman wore glasses and looked very cultured, but her composure vanished as soon as she heard this. She said anxiously, "Boss, please help me! All the other stores are closed. I have no choice but to come to you. If the computer isn't fixed, I won't be able to complete my work!"

As she spoke, she looked at Chen Mo with a pleading expression. Chen Mo looked outside and saw that all the neighboring stores were indeed closed. He thought, "Since all the stores on the street are closed, no one will see if I help her fix the computer. No one will talk, and Brother Li won't know about it."

Just as Chen Mo thought this, the woman took out a pack of soft Zhonghua cigarettes from her pocket and gave them to Chen Mo, saying, "Boss, this is a small token of my appreciation. The repair fee will be calculated separately. Please help me!"
