Chen Mo, upon hearing that Tian Tian wanted to become his disciple, immediately waved his hands and said, "How can that be? You are a university computer teacher, and I didn't even finish high school. How can you become my disciple... Uh... I seem to have forgotten something very important... What was it again?"

When Chen Mo mentioned becoming a disciple, he felt a vague sense that he had forgotten something, but he couldn't remember it right away. Tian Tian interjected, "Master Chen, knowledge has nothing to do with age. Your computer skills are so impressive that you are more than qualified to be my teacher. Will you please agree? I said I would pay tuition—"

The moment Chen Mo heard the word "tuition," he immediately slapped the table and said, "It's over! This is completely over!"

Chen Mo's sudden action of slapping the table startled Tian Tian, who broke out in a cold sweat and said, "Master Chen... What's over...?"

Chen Mo, restless, said, "This... Sister Tian, why don't you go back first? I have something very important to handle. As for the disciple thing... Can we talk about it another day?"

Seeing Chen Mo's nervous expression, Tian Tian could only nod and say, "Oh... Then... I'll go back first... But what about the video promotional thing—"

Before Tian Tian could finish her sentence, Chen Mo interjected, "I will do my best. You keep the video you made as a backup. If I don't finish the work before the investment conference starts, you can use your video. If I finish, I'll call you, okay?"

Chen Mo spoke very quickly. Seeing his anxiety, Tian Tian nodded and said, "Alright, let's decide that. I'll go home and rest. If you finish the new video, call me—never mind, I'll come back tonight."

As Tian Tian spoke, she walked to the door. Chen Mo carried her computer and followed her, seeing her off to her car. After Tian Tian left, Chen Mo immediately returned to the store and sat in front of the computer to work.

He finally remembered his agreement with the instructor from the Hacking Techniques Learning Network. They had agreed to meet again last night, but Chen Mo only remembered it at dawn. Thinking about how the other person might be furious, Chen Mo's head felt like it was splitting in two.

He first logged into the Hacking Techniques Learning Network and then tried to leave a message to gauge the other person's mood. Just as Chen Mo was about to leave a message, he suddenly stopped and muttered to himself, "What excuse should I use to get out of this?"

Chen Mo paused to think for a moment. Soon, he came up with a good idea. He opened the video editing software he had not yet completed and said while continuing to code, "I'll use the software development as an excuse for missing the appointment. Sister Tian said my new programming language is incredible. I'm sure this instructor won't be so angry after seeing the software I've written."

It was 6:10 AM. The sky was already bright in the early summer morning. While Chen Mo continued to work hard on his programming, Li Ranzhu, a girl in the Huqing University dormitory, was still fast asleep.

Li Ranzhu had waited until 3:30 AM last night. She was very angry that Chen Mo had stood her up, but for the sake of the money, she had to curse him while waiting for him to appear. Eventually, she couldn't stay awake and fell asleep on the table.

She was woken up by the sunlight streaming in through the window at 7:30 AM. She rubbed her eyes, yawned, and sat there listlessly for a while.

Soon, Li Ranzhu remembered what had happened last night. Thinking about how her new disciple had been so unreliable, she immediately frowned and said fiercely, "Hmph! If I ever run into that bastard again, I'll destroy him! Doesn't he know that standing up a beautiful woman is very impolite?"

Li Ranzhu sighed and said, "Forget it, it's not worth getting angry over such a person. Besides, he doesn't even know I'm beautiful. I didn't get enough rest last night. I wonder how my skin is? Do I have dark circles under my eyes?"

Girls often care a lot about their appearance, and Li Ranzhu was no exception. She got up and went to the bathroom, carefully examining her skin and the area around her eyes in the mirror. Then she said proudly, "This lady is naturally beautiful. Even without enough rest, my skin is still so smooth!"

She then hummed a tune while washing up. After she finished, she returned to her computer and noticed a message box had popped up on the website. It read, "Master, are you there? We talked last night."

Seeing this, Li Ranzhu's anger flared up. She quickly typed, "You bastard! How dare you show your face to me? You stood me up and made me wait all night! Hmph!"

On the other end of the chat, Chen Mo immediately saw Li Ranzhu's message. For some reason, he felt this person was likely a woman. This was evident from the words she used to insult him. If it were a man, he would probably use more vulgar terms like "f**k" or "I X." Only a woman would use a mild insult like "bastard."

To flatter her, Chen Mo typed in a somewhat sappy manner, "Beautiful master, don't be angry. I didn't mean to do this. I suddenly thought of a new programming language last night and wanted to try it out, so I forgot about our appointment. Beautiful master, your disciple is kneeling on the ground, begging for your forgiveness. Please forgive me this once! If you don't believe me, I can show you the program I've already written!"

On the internet, people often behave in ways they wouldn't in real life. Chen Mo would never say such things in reality, but the anonymity of the internet made him say them. Everyone has two sides, and with a mask to hide behind, most people show a completely different side of themselves.

After saying this, Chen Mo sent the program he had written to Li Ranzhu and typed, "Beautiful master, can you please check it for me?"

Li Ranzhu was stunned when she saw this. She didn't even look at the program Chen Mo had sent. Instead, she was shocked and said, "How did this guy know I'm a girl? Does he know my real identity and have some ulterior motive?"

After saying this, Li Ranzhu ran to the window and peeked outside, but saw no one. She breathed a sigh of relief, then pulled the curtains and typed, "Who are you? How did you know I'm a woman?"

As soon as she typed this, Li Ranzhu regretted it. If the other person was just guessing, wasn't she confirming their guess by saying this?
