Chen Mo tightly clutched the ten yuan in his hand, skipped his meal, and ran out of the house to go to the convenience store to buy a pack of Beijing instant noodles he had been craving for a long time. However, the convenience store had closed early today, and Chen Mo could only return home in great disappointment.

The next morning, Chen Mo got up at five o'clock, then put on his schoolbag and went to the door of the convenience store, hoping to buy the Beijing instant noodles as soon as the store opened.

He waited until 6:30 in the morning, and the convenience store finally opened. When Chen Mo excitedly rushed into the store, he suddenly found that the Beijing instant noodles were no longer on the counter. He couldn't help but ask, "Madam, where are the Beijing instant noodles that were on display?"

The shopkeeper yawned and replied, "Recently, a little girl has been particularly fond of Beijing instant noodles. She bought all the stock in my store. If you want to buy them, you'll have to wait until next week when I restock."

Chen Mo was stunned for a moment before asking, "Madam, did that girl used to buy lollipops from you?"

The shopkeeper turned to look at Chen Mo curiously and nodded, "Yes, she used to always buy lollipops. A few days ago, she suddenly stopped buying lollipops and bought a pack of Beijing instant noodles. The next day, she came back with 200 yuan and bought all the Beijing instant noodles in my store. My husband even delivered them to her home. This happened just a few days ago—what's the matter? Do you know her?"

Chen Mo was almost in tears. He thought to himself: If I had known this would happen, I would never have suggested she buy Beijing instant noodles! Really! I would never have said that!

Seeing Chen Mo's pained expression, the shopkeeper hesitated and asked, "Little boy, what's wrong with you?"

Chen Mo forced a slightly unnatural smile and said, "I'm fine, but—"

Since there were no Beijing instant noodles, Chen Mo could only eat other snacks.

Although there were several other convenience stores in town, only this one sold Beijing instant noodles. It wasn't that the other stores didn't want to sell them; it was just that the seasoning packets in these instant noodles were spicy, and people in the coastal area didn't like spicy food. As a result, the sales of Beijing instant noodles were poor, and over time, the other stores stopped selling them.

Chen Mo couldn't buy Beijing instant noodles now and could only wait until the store restocked. Seeing the lollipops in the plastic box on the counter, Chen Mo finally chose this snack and said, "I'll take a lollipop."

A minute later, Chen Mo left the convenience store, licking the lollipop. He muttered to himself, "Spending 200 yuan on something, her family must be really rich... Humph! So what if you're rich? You're eating my Beijing instant noodles! You are!"

The more Chen Mo talked, the angrier he became. He bit the lollipop and swallowed it, then said dejectedly, "I hope I can catch the next batch. I don't want her to buy all the Beijing instant noodles again..."

For the next few days, Chen Mo would run to the convenience store every day before and after school to check if the Beijing instant noodles had arrived. As the saying goes, hard work pays off. After five days of waiting, Chen Mo finally got his long-awaited Beijing instant noodles.

After paying, the shopkeeper handed a pack of Beijing instant noodles to Chen Mo, who took it and ran out.

Three minutes later, Chen Mo ran to the shade of a big tree by the roadside. He sat on the grass, put his schoolbag under his feet, and placed the newly bought Beijing instant noodles on the schoolbag, ready to enjoy the delicious meal.

Chen Mo carefully tore open the bag, sprinkled the seasoning on the noodles, then sealed the bag and crushed the noodles, shaking the bag vigorously.

When Chen Mo felt that the seasoning was evenly mixed with the noodles, he opened the bag and reached in with his small hand to take a piece of crushed noodles and put it in his mouth. The "crunch" sound filled the air as Chen Mo finally tasted the Beijing instant noodles. He had a blissful expression and thought to himself: The noodles are so crispy... Although they are a bit spicy, the spiciness makes them even more delicious!

Chen Mo was so excited that he didn't notice a little girl sitting on the swing next to the big tree. Coincidentally, this little girl was the one who had spent 200 yuan to buy all the Beijing instant noodles from the convenience store a few days ago.

The little girl was wearing white athletic shorts, a red skirt over them, and had rosy cheeks and bright red lipstick. Her two pigtails were tied with red ribbons and adorned with shiny foil.

If she had a trident in her hand and was standing on two firepots, she would look just like Nezha from the TV series "Journey to the West."

The little girl saw Chen Mo enjoying the Beijing instant noodles and was initially curious because she had never seen anyone so engrossed in eating instant noodles.

However, as the "crunch" sound of Chen Mo chewing the noodles kept reaching her ears, the little girl suddenly stopped swinging and held onto the swing pole, gagging.

No one feels comfortable when someone is gagging while they are eating, especially when Chen Mo was enjoying his long-awaited delicious meal. This made him increasingly annoyed by the little girl's gagging.

He chewed the noodles and turned his head to look at her. As soon as he saw her, he immediately recognized her.

Chen Mo swallowed the noodles, licked the chili seasoning from his lips, and thought to himself: Dressed like a ghost, not afraid of embarrassing yourself! What's wrong with her? Is she sick? Serves her right! Who told you to take my instant noodles?

Chen Mo had not forgotten this incident. After gloating in his mind, he was about to continue eating the instant noodles with a smug expression when the little girl, who was still gagging, suddenly said, "Hey—can you stop eating that in front of me?"

Chen Mo was slightly taken aback, then turned to look at the little girl and hesitated, "Why? What's wrong with me eating instant noodles here?"

The little girl didn't dare to look at the Beijing instant noodles in Chen Mo's hand, as if they were a monster. She adjusted her gaze to look at Chen Mo, about to say something, but suddenly stopped.

After a moment of eye contact, the little girl finally said, "It's you! Humph!"

Chen Mo, seeing the little girl's angry expression, couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong with me?"

The little girl pouted and said, "You're so mean!"

Chen Mo was unhappy when he heard this: "How am I mean?"

The little girl huffed, "You tried to take my lollipops before! Isn't that mean?"

Chen Mo felt a bit embarrassed about the incident from a few days ago, but since it had been so long, the embarrassment wasn't as severe. Besides, he had never intended to take her lollipops, and this girl was just making things up!

Chen Mo immediately said, "Who tried to take your lollipops? Don't make things up!"

The little girl, seeing Chen Mo's angry face, said smugly, "If you didn't want to take my lollipops, why did you stop walking down that road after I caught you?"

Chen Mo was speechless for a moment, then said angrily, "Mind your own business! Humph!"

Chen Mo turned away and ignored the little girl, grabbed a piece of noodles from the bag, and was about to chew it when the little girl shouted, "Don't eat! Don't eat!"

Chen Mo turned to look at her, then smiled disdainfully and started to chew the noodles, making a "crunch" sound.

"Ugh—Ugh—Ugh—"

The little girl, hearing the chewing sound, finally vomited. This time, it wasn't just gagging; she really vomited.
