But most of the story focuses on the three detectives, Liang Junyi, Yang Zhen, and Lin Yixiang, who, by chance, overhear through surveillance equipment that the senior executives of 'Fenghua International' are planning to manipulate the company's stock price from 0.2 Hong Kong dollars to 1.2 Hong Kong dollars.

Because Yang Zhen's son is sick and he himself has liver cancer, he wants to leave a sum of money for his family before he dies, so he has a wicked idea.

At his request, the three decide to keep the information from their superiors and then bet on the stock market to earn this unexpected wealth.

Just as he understood the mission, a phone call came in.

Chen Anlin looked at the phone; the contact was labeled: Liang Junyi.

Liang Junyi originally wanted to stop Yang Zhen and Lin Yixiang from having wicked thoughts about stock trading, but unfortunately, Yang Zhen tearfully told him about his liver cancer and begged him to pretend he didn't know.

In the movie, Li Guang is just a minor character, whose only role might be that his wife is having an affair with Liang Junyi.

So Chen Anlin decided not to take such a risk; he didn't have the skills to break into the Fenghua International building at night.

He thought of a brilliant plan!
