"Quite a coincidence, I was just about to book two plane tickets online, but then I found out there was no money in my bank card, and you called me right then." Zhang Han said with a faint smile.

"Oh... Hmm?" Zhang Li said in surprise, "Buy plane tickets? Brother, could it be that you..."

"That's right, I'm going somewhere else." Zhang Han said.

"You're finally willing to leave Beijing?" Zhang Li's voice trembled slightly, with a hint of joy in her tone.

"Yes, just as you said, staying in Beijing like this won't help me find anything. Once I become stronger, everything will naturally become clear." Zhang Han said with a smile.

"It's good that you've thought it through." Zhang Li's eyes welled up, and she asked, "Where do you plan to go?"

"Hong Kong." Zhang Han replied, "Handle your affairs and come to Hong Kong too. Follow your brother and enjoy life."

"I'm already in Hong Kong." Zhang Li said slowly.

"Oh, my flight is at six o'clock tomorrow afternoon, and I'll arrive at Hong Kong International Airport at 9:30. Come and pick me up then." Zhang Han said.

Zhang Li hesitated for a moment and replied, "Okay, wait! You just said you booked two plane tickets, who is with you?"

"With my daughter."

Ding dang bang bang...

The sound of a phone hitting the ground echoed, followed by Zhang Li's incredulous exclamation, "What did you say? Your daughter?"

"Yes, my daughter, your niece." Zhang Han shook his head with a smile.

"How is that possible? How come I didn't know? Is it real? Are you kidding me?" Zhang Li fired off a series of questions.

"Of course it's real, even I was surprised." Zhang Han replied.

"This... Oh my God, I'm an aunt now?" Zhang Li murmured in confusion.

"You'll know when we meet tomorrow."

"No, I want to see her now. I'll send you a video call." Zhang Li said and hung up the phone immediately.

Then a video call invitation came through WeChat.

After connecting, when Zhang Li saw Zhang Han, who was dressed neatly and exuded the air of a young master from the past, she was momentarily stunned, and tears welled up in her eyes without her noticing.

"Alright, you're not a little girl anymore, don't cry." Zhang Han said with a slightly nostalgic smile.

"Even if I'm not little, I'm still your sister. I'm happy to see you doing well." Zhang Li wiped away her tears, adjusted her emotions, and said, "Where is the niece? Let me see her."

Zhang Han took the phone to the bedside and aimed the camera at the sleeping little princess.

"What a cute and beautiful little girl." Zhang Li said gently, "Brother, who is your sister-in-law? To have such a beautiful child, she must be very beautiful too, right?"

"Um..." Zhang Han, afraid of waking Mengmeng, whispered, "We'll talk about it when we meet."

Even though his voice was very soft, the little girl seemed to hear it, turned her little body, kicked off the blanket with her feet, and revealed her little legs and bottom, which was still in a diaper.

Zhang Han gently covered the little girl with the blanket, and then chatted with Zhang Li for nearly an hour before ending the video call.

Back in bed, Zhang Han took off his clothes and placed them aside. Looking at the cute little girl beside him, he gradually fell asleep, and he slept soundly that night.

The next morning, just as the sky was beginning to lighten, Zhang Han was woken by a cry.

Whoosh!

Zhang Han was startled, quickly opened his eyes, and saw the little girl crying.

"What's wrong, little treasure? Don't cry, don't cry. Come, Dad will hold you." Zhang Han quickly picked up the little girl.

"Wah... Da... Da, there was a big monster chasing me, I'm so scared..." Mengmeng cried with tears streaming down her face.

Zhang Han understood immediately and said softly, "Mengmeng, it was just a dream, you were dreaming."

"Wah... Scared..."

Zhang Han tried to comfort her, but it didn't seem to help. In a flash of inspiration, he raised his right hand to distract her:

"Mengmeng, don't be afraid. Big monsters are both stupid and ugly. Watch Dad punch them. Hey! One punch, and the monster's nose is crooked. Look at these two fingers, ha! The monster's eyes are gone. Look at this palm, slap! The big monster is dead!"

Seeing the little girl stop crying and focus on his actions, Zhang Han felt a bit relieved and said, "Alright, the big monster is dead!"

"Wow, Dad is so cool." Mengmeng still had tears in her eyes, but she stopped crying and said with admiration.

"Of course, your dad is the coolest." Zhang Han said proudly.

"Dad, I'm hungry, I want milk."

"Dad will make you some milk." Zhang Han got up and made a bottle of milk for the little girl.

After making it, the milk smelled very light. Zhang Han glanced at the milk powder and smiled disdainfully, "Mengmeng, when we settle down, Dad will raise a cow to give you fresh milk every day."

After saying that, Zhang Han handed the bottle to Mengmeng, who drank a big gulp and asked curiously:

"What is a cow?"

"A cow is an old cow that produces milk." Zhang Han explained, "The milk powder you drink is made from cow's milk. Children need to drink milk to grow up because milk contains many necessary nutrients."

"But I grew up drinking Mom's milk, didn't I?" Mengmeng asked, puzzled.

"You drank your mom's milk when you were one year old. After one year, you need to drink cow's milk." Zhang Han replied.

Fortunately, Zhang Han valued family ties. If it were someone else's child, asking so many questions like "Why," he would have been annoyed and might have said:

"Am I, the great Cold Sun Immortal, here to answer your endless questions? Get lost!"

But with his own daughter, Zhang Han had no choice. He answered her questions, feeling both helpless and enjoying it. Some of the tricky questions even left Zhang Han at a loss, and he could only give vague answers.

At nine o'clock in the morning, the manager of the used car website arrived as scheduled. After the transaction, Zhang Han declined the manager's offer to have a meal together.

Back at the hotel, he threw away all the other bank cards in his wallet, keeping only the new one with two million.

The other cards were linked to many automatic payments, and Zhang Han didn't plan to use them anymore. For the rest of the day, Zhang Han and the little girl stayed at the hotel, waiting to go to the airport in the evening.

In most cases, going to Hong Kong requires a visa, and you can't stay for long. However, Zhang Han didn't need to go through those complicated procedures. He not only had a house in Hong Kong but also held permanent residency there. As a former young master with extensive connections, it would be a joke if he couldn't manage this.

At noon, they had a simple lunch at the hotel restaurant. Looking at the seemingly abundant food, Zhang Han was already considering finding a larger mountain as a base. He would personally cultivate the ingredients, which would be much better than those from outside restaurants.

"Mengmeng is growing, and she needs rich nutrition. The food must be of the highest quality. I need to prepare a detailed plan."

Now, Zhang Han considered things from the perspective of the little girl, Mengmeng. It was undeniable that having a daughter had changed his mindset.

At around four in the afternoon, Zhang Han took a taxi to the Capital International Airport with the little girl, arriving by five. In the waiting room, it was clear that the little girl was very excited about the trip.

In Hong Kong, at the office of the subsidiary of the Imperial Dynasty Group, Imperial Dynasty Entertainment, a woman with a ponytail was talking to Zi Yan.

"Yan, don't be too anxious. After all, we just made a comeback, and the company's competition is very intense. It's not easy to get a role in a short time," the woman with the ponytail said to Zi Yan.

"I know."

Sitting on the sofa by the window, Zi Yan's delicate face was filled with fatigue. She looked out the window, shook her head slightly, and said, "But if we wait for the company to assign a role, it will take more than half a year. My comeback has already been reported. If I don't do anything for half a year, the fans will be very disappointed."

"Tomorrow, Mr. Li has invited you to dinner at the Amber Restaurant. His father is a board member of the Imperial Dynasty Group and holds a high position. If he speaks up, getting a role won't be a problem," the woman said.

"It's not that simple," Zi Yan sighed, somewhat frustrated.

The entertainment industry is a very complex place. Mr. Li's dinner invitation today has a clear purpose. If she agrees to his conditions, the acting role will be resolved quickly, but is this the result she wants?

Zi Yan has always refused such 'transactions.' When she signed a five-year contract with Imperial Dynasty Entertainment, she became famous after three years of hard work and the company's cultivation, thanks to her beautiful appearance and enchanting voice.

In the fourth year, she transitioned from a singer to an actress, and her fame grew. She even had a chance to win the title of Best Actress in the fifth year, but that year, the accident with Zhang Han happened.

Initially, Zi Yan wanted to retire immediately when she found out she was pregnant, but the company didn't allow it. She had to persist for a few more months. After the contract expired, she went to North America. Five years later, she returned, but the entertainment industry was no longer the same.

The competition was even more intense, and after signing a three-year contract again, the company didn't give her any resources. After all, everyone was waiting in line, and she, a former star, wanted to cut in line?

Especially in the company, many people pointed at her and whispered, "Over the hill." This made Zi Yan even more determined to prove herself with her own strength.

"Sister, have some water. We'll take it step by step, and we'll get there. I believe in you," the woman with the ponytail said, handing her a cup of water.

"Thank you, Xiaofei," Zi Yan smiled slightly.

The woman with the ponytail, Zhou Fei, was an orphan who grew up and entered the entertainment industry as a manager. She had endured a lot of hardships but found warmth with Zi Yan. She was devoted to her, even during Zi Yan's time in North America.

Now, she not only served as Zi Yan's manager but also as her assistant and nanny, treating her very well. However, she was quite sharp-tongued with outsiders.

"Don't be so formal with me, Sister. How about releasing an album? The company has recently collected many songs. You can talk to Sister Mei, and she might agree to let you choose some. After all, you started as a singer," Zhou Fei said.

"We'll see about that."
