Xia Ruofei smiled and said:

"Finding a succulent variety that Mr. Liang would approve of isn't that easy! But I have a friend who has connections in this area. Give me some time, and it shouldn't be a problem."

Xia Ruofei was already planning to cultivate succulent seedlings, so he wouldn't lack good succulents in the future. He could then pick a couple of mature plants to sell to Liang Qichao.

However, Liang Qichao interpreted Xia Ruofei's words differently.

The channels for obtaining succulents, besides self-cultivation, also include imports from overseas. Many precious succulents originate from outside China, but due to ecological safety concerns, many are prohibited from entering the country.

Therefore, Liang Qichao naturally assumed that Xia Ruofei had connections to obtain good succulents from abroad. He was overjoyed and said:

"Thank you! Thank you! I knew that by stopping me from bidding against Liu Minghao, you must have had a way to get succulents of this quality! Mr. Xia, I'll remember this favor, hahaha! Making Liu Minghao pay a high price is more satisfying than anything else!"

"Sure, sure," Xia Ruofei said with a faint smile. "Mr. Liang, I came back today to visit your greenhouse. Is it convenient now?"

"Of course, no problem!" Liang Qichao said cheerfully. "I have a lot of experience in cultivating succulents. When we visit the greenhouse, feel free to ask any questions."

"Thanks!" Xia Ruofei said with a smile.

Liang Qichao personally led Xia Ruofei downstairs to start the tour of the succulent cultivation base.

"Mr. Liang, your cultivation base is quite large!" Xia Ruofei said as he walked between the greenhouses.

"Hehe... I just really like this, so I invested a bit of money to build this base. It didn't cost much, really!" Liang Qichao laughed heartily.

Xia Ruofei could tell that this guy was clearly a rich second generation, and opening this succulent restaurant was probably just for fun.

At this moment, Liang Qichao said:

"By the way, don't call me Mr. Liang all the time. I'm a few years older than you, so if you don't mind, just call me Brother Liang, and I'll call you Ruofei!"

Xia Ruofei, who had a good impression of Liang Qichao's straightforward personality, readily agreed:

"Sure, Brother Liang!"

Liang Qichao beamed:

"Ah! Ruofei, I don't have much else, but my collection of succulents is quite comprehensive. If you see anything you like, just let me know. Consider it a welcome gift from Brother Liang!"

"Alright!" Xia Ruofei didn't hesitate to accept Liang Qichao's offer and nodded.

As they moved forward, Liang Qichao continued to introduce the greenhouses:

"Ruofei, this greenhouse is full of Jade Fans, the one next to it is for Living Stones, and over there are some Golden Barrel Cacti, but there aren't many. They are very hard to come by... And this one is mainly for cultivating Jade Dew, but they are all ordinary. They can't compare to your top-quality Ice Lantern..."

Xia Ruofei listened attentively, especially when the workers were cultivating and maintaining the plants. He would stop to watch and occasionally ask questions about planting techniques.

Liang Qichao, being a succulent enthusiast, was not annoyed by Xia Ruofei's questions and patiently explained everything to him.

Xia Ruofei also quietly took note of the important points regarding planting and cultivation.

"Brother Liang, your collection of succulents is really diverse!" Xia Ruofei said with a smile, then asked, "But... why are these succulents generally so small? Can they sell for a good price?"

Liang Qichao explained with a wry smile:

"Brother, succulents are famous for growing slowly! If all the succulents in my propagation base were as big as your top-quality Ice Lantern, I would be a millionaire!

Good mature plants are rare, and we usually use them as mother plants for propagation. In reality, our main business is selling succulent seedlings."

Xia Ruofei nodded inwardly. Liang Qichao's answer matched his thoughts, confirming that his plan to sell top-quality succulent seedlings was on the right track.

As they toured and chatted, Xia Ruofei gained a general understanding of succulent cultivation and propagation. The plan he had thought of in Ling Qingsnow's car gradually became more concrete.

The succulent restaurant was quite large, and with Xia Ruofei frequently stopping to ask questions, it took them over two hours to complete the tour.

Seeing that it was almost dinner time, Liang Qichao warmly invited Xia Ruofei to have dinner together, but Xia Ruofei politely declined his offer.

They said goodbye at the entrance of the succulent restaurant.

Xia Ruofei got into a taxi, and Liang Qichao reminded him from outside the window:

"Ruofei, if you have any good succulents next time, remember to consider Brother Liang first! Price is not an issue!"

It seemed that not buying the top-quality Ice Lantern still left Liang Qichao a bit disappointed.

Xia Ruofei smiled and nodded, waving to Liang Qichao as the taxi sped away from the succulent restaurant.

Xia Ruofei got off the taxi near the slum and found a small noodle shop on the street, ordering a large bowl of beef noodles, which he quickly finished.

After his military service, Xia Ruofei wasn't very particular about food, but the noodles from this street stall were really not good, especially the vegetables, which were old and hard, tasting like cardboard.

After finishing his meal, Xia Ruofei suddenly had an idea—

The Lingtu Space is so magical, why not grow some vegetables there? Even if it's not for profit, it would be nice to improve his diet occasionally. The vegetables grown in the Lingtu Space would surely be much better than those sold in the market!

Since he was currently only planning to use the Lingtu Space to cultivate succulent seedlings, there was still plenty of land available.

With this in mind, Xia Ruofei immediately took action, taking a taxi to the city seed company to buy some common vegetable seeds and some basic farming tools.

Xia Ruofei had been responsible for the company's vegetable garden when he was a new recruit, so growing vegetables was not difficult for him.

After bringing the seeds and tools into the Lingtu Space, Xia Ruofei cleared a small plot of land by the pond. The soil in the space was very soft, and he quickly completed the work.

He soaked the seeds in the pond water, then returned to the outside world to rest for a while. A few hours later, he entered the space again to start planting.

He didn't do much additional treatment, as he believed that the seeds soaked in the pond water would have a very high germination rate and would not be affected by pests or diseases.

Xia Ruofei evenly scattered the seeds and covered them with a thin layer of space soil, then watered the entire plot with pond water.

After finishing, Xia Ruofei looked at the newly cultivated plot with a sense of accomplishment and left the Lingtu Space.

After taking a shower, Xia Ruofei took a two-hour nap and got up in the evening to enter the Lingtu Space again.

Actually, he just felt thirsty after waking up and wanted to drink some pond water.

However, as soon as he entered the space, his eyes were immediately drawn to a hint of green...
