Chapter 88

Katerina turned back and gave Da Fei a sweet smile, "Captain, give me 500 gold coins!"

Da Fei was taken aback, "You're not really going to train them, are you?" Hey, I'm really busy right now, I'm about to go into battle, how can I have time to mess around with this? But in the face of his darling's sweet smile, he couldn't bring himself to say those words. After all, it's just a few magic towers, no big deal. I have countless ways to deal with them, so there's no rush.

Da Fei chuckled and handed over 500 gold coins.

Katerina smiled, "It's easy to go bad but hard to be good. These kids are naturally naughty, and such things need to be addressed from a young age, especially when it comes to learning to be pirates, which suits their nature!" As she spoke, she dangled two handfuls of gold coins in front of the two little succubi, "Do you want them?"

The two little succubi's eyes lit up.

Deirdre, standing nearby, incited them, "Listen to this lady, being obedient has its rewards."

The two little succubi nodded eagerly.

Katerina smiled, "If you want them, come and grab them! Don't let the gold coins fall to the ground, or the Earth God will take them, and you'll get nothing." As she spoke, she deliberately let a gold coin slip through her fingers.

The two little succubi, being so quick-witted, flapped their wings and flew over to catch it.

Da Fei couldn't help but feel excited, this is going well!

Katerina laughed, "Here's another one!" Another two gold coins slipped through her fingers, and the little succubi flew over to catch them.

Katerina laughed heartily, "Your desire can't be just for two gold coins, right? Come on, there are more."

The gold coins in Katerina's hand started to slip out faster, and her hand moved around, while the two little succubi, heads tilted back, darted around like little dogs waiting for their owner to feed them.

Da Fei was stunned! Is this really pirate training? They can't really become pirates, can they? He glanced at Deirdre, who was staring intently, her expression serious and tense, a bead of sweat trickling down her forehead, neck, and chest, and onto the plains... Da Fei was momentarily captivated! Uh, back to business!

Da Fei cleared his throat and asked softly, "Honey, what do you think?"

Deirdre said seriously, "If the two little ones can catch all the gold coins before they run out of energy, then their advancement will be successful, otherwise, it will fail!"

Da Fei was surprised, "So that's how it works!"

Deirdre nodded, "As younglings, they have infinite potential. Especially for succubi, who are naturally intelligent and have a higher chance of learning various skills compared to ordinary demons. Moreover, as Katerina said, succubi are naturally suited to be spies and deceivers, making them highly compatible with learning various thieving and plundering skills. This is why they can successfully become scouts. After becoming scouts, their abilities are enhanced, which lays the foundation for this training. Besides, they have already had a successful combat experience, so if they advance successfully, the master's mission will be more promising!"

Da Fei was enlightened! That makes sense! Succubi are so intelligent, I can see it in you!

Now, Da Fei watched the two little ones, whose movements were clearly slowing down, with a tense expression. Hey, hang in there!

Katerina chuckled, "Don't tell me you can't do it? If you win, you'll get a big reward!"

Deirdre shouted angrily, "Stay focused! If you fail, you won't be allowed to eat! You'll go to battle with empty stomachs and die!"

Da Fei was startled, Hey, hey, hey! Don't be so harsh on the kids! These are my 350 + 500 + 250 = 1100 gold coin babies!

Under the temptation of victory and the threat of failure, the two little succubi shuddered, their eyes glowing with the red light common in demons, and their movements became more agile.

Deirdre shouted, "That's it! That's the spirit!"

"Come on!" Da Fei clenched his fists nervously.

Finally, Katerina chuckled, "The last three, catch them well!"

With a tinkling sound, Katerina suddenly threw three gold coins from each hand, six gold coins spiraling into the air. This was the final moment, Da Fei's heart was pounding, Katerina's smile froze, and Deirdre bit her lip tightly!

The gold coins rose, rose, and reached their highest point! In that split second, the two little succubi leaped and flapped their wings, catching the coins at the moment they were almost stationary, one in each hand, and one in their mouths!

In that instant, two beams of white light descended, enveloping the two little succubi!

"Yay!!!" Katerina's excited scream echoed through the palace!

— System Notice: Congratulations! Your Succubus unit has gained attribute boosts and new skills!

"Yay!!!" Da Fei, who had been anxious, jumped up in excitement.

Deirdre leaned against Da Fei, tears glistening in her eyes, "The children have grown. They've learned so many skills at such a young age, it's hard to imagine how powerful they'll be when they grow up."

Da Fei chuckled and put his arm around her, "They are the fruits of our love!" Hey, why are you suddenly so motherly? You wouldn't really starve them, would you?

Serbia said coldly, "I think they should wear clothes."

Pfft! Pretending not to hear.

The white light faded, and the two little succubi landed on the ground. They seemed to have grown a bit, and there was a slight bulge on their chests!

Da Fei said excitedly, "Come here, my little darlings, let the master check your attributes!"

— Juvenile Succubus: Attack 2, Defense 0, Damage 2-3, Health 5, Attack Speed 8, Special Skills: Flying Creature, Advanced Reconnaissance, Stealth, Independent Expedition, Agile Evasion, War Plunder, Ranged Attack.

So many special skills! Da Fei's eyes were dazzled! And these attributes are on par with a 1st-level Skeleton Warrior! What does this mean? It's like a child can directly fight an adult soldier, and when they grow up, it will be even more formidable! Once they grow up and learn the succubi's transformation, charm, and rapid shooting skills, they will be a complete package of deception, theft, and plunder, a tragedy for society!

Katerina laughed, "Although they didn't become pirates, they learned the pirate's Agile Evasion and War Plunder, they are good children!"

Deirdre nodded, "Not bad, they even learned the succubi's Ranged Attack skill on their own, which will make this mission easier."

Da Fei laughed, "Great! Great! Everyone, rest well, and then we'll start the mission!"

(Note: Agile Evasion: The unit has a 20% chance to evade physical attacks, which can stack with the sub-skills of Defense, such as Agile Evasion and Arrow Evasion.

War Plunder: Units with this skill will have a backpack, allowing them to obtain one piece of equipment, a certain amount of gold, or resources from dead enemies or destroyed enemy buildings, with a maximum carry limit of 10 units.)
