Zhuochuan noted the concerned journalist and memorized his face, then looked around at the expectant and caring faces. He wouldn't blame them for being insincere; in the modern world, the more value you have, the more attention you deserve.

However, too much attention often leaves one feeling helpless.

Fortunately, at this moment, a pretty nurse came in and helped him out of the situation.

"What are you all doing? The patient needs rest. Get out quickly. This is a VIP ward, and visits require approval from the leadership. Really, you all look so well-dressed, but you slipped in without permission. No wonder Director Fang said we need two more security guards. We really need to keep a close eye on things," the sharp-tongued nurse scolded, making the journalists look embarrassed.

The male journalists didn't respond, considering the impact, but a female journalist retorted.

"How can you talk like that? If it weren't for us driving Mr. Zhuo here, would your hospital have had the chance to treat him? Now you won't even let us visit?"

The pretty nurse was about to retort when a middle-aged man who looked like a leader held her back.

"Comrades, I know you are all from major media outlets. We are very grateful for your timely assistance in bringing Mr. Zhuo to the hospital. We are just a small district hospital, but we have rules for the patients' recovery. I understand your concern for Mr. Zhuo, but please consider his health and let him rest for a while. I believe Mr. Zhuo would also appreciate this," the middle-aged man said earnestly.

One doesn't hit a smiling face. The journalists, being high-quality individuals, and having been instructed by their superiors, left the VIP ward in an orderly manner.

"Thank you both," Zhuochuan said, sitting up in bed. In fact, he was fine, just very hungry.

"It's nothing. These journalists have been waiting here for you for three days and two nights," the middle-aged man explained, even defending the journalists behind their backs. Although he was a professional and found no serious issues after the examination, the journalists who brought Zhuochuan to the hospital had done him a favor. Otherwise, long-term unconsciousness and lack of food would have caused problems.

Zhuochuan nodded. "They've worked hard. I'll thank them personally after I'm discharged."

"They just want to curry favor. They're not really being kind," the pretty nurse, young and hot-tempered, said indignantly.

"Don't say such things," the middle-aged leader scolded her, and she pouted but didn't speak further.

"Ha, she means well. I still appreciate her for giving me some peace," Zhuochuan said, rubbing his head. Being surrounded by so many people would make anyone uncomfortable.

"Thank you both for your help. May I ask your names? And where are we?" Zhuochuan asked.

"Oh, this is the First Hospital of the New District. I'm Fang, the director here. This young lady is Lin, our best nurse," the middle-aged man introduced himself, his tone somewhat ingratiating.

Zhuochuan realized he had finally reached a status where a hospital director would come to greet him. The hospital name sounded familiar, but he didn't dwell on it. He often thought this way when he worked at his old company: when would a director wait for him instead of the other way around, indicating he had made it.

Now, this seemingly unattainable goal had been achieved, and it was just a small one.

However, Zhuochuan wouldn't act like those directors, who often spoke with a stern face to those of lower status. He didn't want others to think he was a small-minded person who had suddenly become successful.

"Thank you, Director Fang, and Nurse Lin. I feel fine now and would like to be discharged," Zhuochuan said.

Director Fang was slightly taken aback but quickly recovered. "Sure. I just reviewed your test results, and you're in perfect health. There's no need to stay in the hospital. You can get IVs at home. I'll have them come and process your discharge immediately."

Zhuochuan smiled. The treatment was a world apart from what he used to get, but he couldn't blame others for being pragmatic. When you have value, you deserve respect and convenience.

Soon, Director Fang left, leaving Nurse Lin to stay with him until the discharge procedures were completed.

Of course, a young person couldn't just sit around. She took out her iPhone 6 and started browsing the internet, as the hospital had Wi-Fi coverage.

Zhuochuan took out his phone, lay back on the bed, and began checking it.

Sure enough, many people had called and sent messages.

Zhuochuan patiently sent a group message: "Thank you all for your concern. I'm fine and will be discharged soon."

As he sent the message, a slight commotion came from the VIP ward door. Nurse Lin immediately put down her phone and got up to check.

"The person inside is my boss. Let me in, please," a clearly muffled voice said at the door.

"Sorry, Director Fang just instructed us that it's not visiting time. If you want to visit, please wait for us to ask the patient," a deep, reasonable voice replied.

Zhuochuan's hearing was sharp, and he heard the conversation clearly.

The first person was Dong Ze. Zhuochuan remembered that the last time, he and his girlfriend had a dispute and fell into an elevator shaft, and they were brought to this hospital by ambulance.

"Let him in. He's my employee," Zhuochuan said to Nurse Lin, who had taken a few steps.

"Sure, Mr. Zhuo," Nurse Lin said, helping Dong Ze in.

"Boss, are you okay? Why did you faint?" Dong Ze limped to Zhuochuan's bedside. Although he was not fully recovered, it was clear that after Zhuochuan's "tissue repair," he was recovering quickly and was no longer in any danger.

Nurse Lin brought a chair and helped him sit down slowly.

"I'm fine, just a bit tired from staying up all night," Zhuochuan smiled. He also noticed that although he had only repaired Dong Ze's internal organs, in less than a month, he could walk. It seemed the treatment had an additional effect of stimulating the body's recovery.

Since "tissue repair" was the core of the nursing facility Zhuochuan planned to establish to maintain the lives of the elderly, which would be a soul ranch to supply his soul power, he paid close attention to every detail.

"You're recovering quickly. It usually takes a hundred days to recover from a serious injury, but you're walking after just twenty days," Zhuochuan said.

"Yes, the doctor was also puzzled. After the examination, he said it might be due to my young and strong constitution, and there were no other issues," Dong Ze said happily. Most patients hope to recover quickly.

"That's good," Zhuochuan naturally knew the doctor wouldn't find anything.

"Rest well. I'll be discharged soon. By the way, where are Zhen Dong and Manager Zhao? Weren't they taking care of you?" Zhuochuan asked.

"Oh," Dong Ze's face, which had been happy, turned a bit awkward. He said a bit embarrassedly, "Boss, I've caused you trouble."

"What trouble? Is it related to your ex-girlfriend's parents? Are they going to court? Don't worry, we can afford good lawyers," Zhuochuan guessed.
