Chapter 55

"En?" As soon as the mentor stepped into the classroom, he saw the mess, clear signs of a struggle, and then looked at the eyes staring at him, frowning slightly, his expression turning somewhat unpleasant.

"The mentor is about to get angry!"

"Ye Wei is in for it. When the mentor asks, Xiao Qi will definitely add fuel to the fire!" Looking at the mentor's grim face, the students in the class couldn't help but think, their moods varying.

"Hmph! Ye Wei, this time no one can help you!" Seeing the mentor's expression darken, Xiao Qi felt somewhat smug, a look of schadenfreude appearing on his face.

Xiao Qi tidied his clothes, preparing to add fuel to the fire and report Ye Wei's "crimes" one by one when the mentor started to scold.

However, Xiao Qi waited and waited, but the mentor's questioning never came... The mentor's gaze lingered on the messy desks and chairs for just a moment before settling on Ye Wei.

Looking at Ye Wei, the mentor nodded respectfully, a look of awe and respect even passing through his eyes...

Yes, respect!

Because he already knew Ye Wei's identity, knew that Ye Wei was Master Yi's only personal disciple!

Ye Wei is Master Yi's only personal disciple, how exalted is his status? How could a mere mentor not be in awe? How could he not show respect?

The reason he was half an hour late to the classroom today was that he had been called by the upper management of Nansheng Academy, who informed him that Ye Wei had been taken as a personal disciple by Master Yi.

"Mentor!" Seeing that the mentor was not speaking, Xiao Qi finally couldn't hold back, standing up abruptly, giving Ye Wei a cold glance, his face icy.

"Ye Wei not only skipped class for three consecutive days but also suddenly attacked me in the classroom, acting with utter audacity! He openly violated school rules! I ask the mentor to take action!"

"All the students in the class can testify!" Xiao Qi said loudly and confidently, then gave Ye Wei a cold glance, thinking that the mentor would surely punish Ye Wei severely. His stomach was still churning in pain, and he was determined to get revenge!

The mentor of Class 3 Junior was known for his fiery temper. In the past, even when Xiao Qi and the three noble family students violated school rules, he would punish them severely.

"Skipped class for three days? Attacked you?" The mentor looked at the confident Xiao Qi, raised an eyebrow, his face turning stern, his tone suddenly becoming very strict, "Xiao Qi, you are the top student of Class 3 Junior, the only five-star apprentice! What about Ye Wei? Who doesn't know that Ye Wei is merely a one-star apprentice? How could he attack you?"

"You have disappointed me!"

"At such a young age, why not learn something good, but insist on lying!"

The mentor's stern reprimand echoed in the classroom, not only making Xiao Qi stunned, but also making the other students in the class stunned. The mentor was clearly favoring Ye Wei.

Ye Wei skipping class for three days, they all saw with their own eyes, but the mentor not only did not punish Ye Wei, but instead scolded Xiao Qi. Wasn't this favoritism?

The mentor actually favored Ye Wei?

"Even if Ye Wei doesn't have the ability to attack me, he openly skipped class for three consecutive days! If the mentor doesn't believe it, you can ask the substitute teacher!" Xiao Qi clenched his teeth, staring at the mentor in shock and bewilderment, unable to understand why the mentor was favoring Ye Wei.

Today was too strange. First, those three noble family students unexpectedly came forward to protect Ye Wei, and now even the mentor was clearly favoring Ye Wei. What was going on?

Xiao Qi couldn't understand, his heart filled with resentment and unwillingness. He didn't want to let Ye Wei off so easily!

Ye Wei skipping class for three days was a fact, and no one could deny it. Even if the mentor intended to favor Ye Wei, in the face of irrefutable evidence, Ye Wei couldn't escape the blame!

"Skipping class for three days, does that necessarily mean breaking school rules?" The mentor glared coldly at Xiao Qi, his face darkening.

Ye Wei is Master Yi's only personal disciple. Who dares to punish him? Even the vice-principal and principal would give Master Yi face!

You, Xiao Qi, actually want me to punish Ye Wei? Aren't you trying to push me into a fire pit?

The mentor's somewhat cold voice echoed in the ears of the students, making their faces show confusion.

Nansheng Academy explicitly prohibits skipping class. Ye Wei skipping class for three consecutive days, isn't that breaking school rules? What does the mentor mean? Even if he intends to favor Ye Wei, he should find a better reason!

Xiao Qi's face was filled with resentment, the students in the class were confused, only the three noble family students who knew Ye Wei's identity sneered inwardly.

Ha, what kind of exalted status does Ye Wei have? A mere junior class mentor dares to punish Ye Wei? Xiao Qi trying to cause trouble for Ye Wei is just asking for trouble!

"Nansheng Academy does indeed prohibit students from skipping class, but... this rule applies to junior, intermediate, and senior classes, not including the genius class!"

"The upper management of the academy has officially notified that Ye Wei is now a student of the genius class!" The mentor glanced coldly at Xiao Qi, then turned to look at Ye Wei, somewhat fawningly, "Let's congratulate Ye Wei!"

What?!

Ye Wei? A genius class student?

The mentor's words echoed in Xiao Qi's ears, making him feel a buzzing in his head, as if a bolt of lightning had suddenly exploded in his mind.

Ye Wei, when did Ye Wei become a genius class student?

The genius class of Nansheng Academy, what kind of outrageous requirements? Only those with exceptional talent have the qualifications to enter the genius class!

Ye Wei, a mere one-star apprentice, what qualifications does he have to enter the genius class?

Ye Wei being a genius class student, skipping class for three days naturally doesn't count as breaking school rules. Genius class students have many privileges, including the freedom to attend classes as they please!

"Brother Ye Wei, congratulations, congratulations!"

"With Brother Ye Wei's talent, entering the genius class is only natural!"

"Brother Ye Wei, once you're in the genius class, you must take care of us in the future!" At this moment, the three noble family students stood up first, bowing to Ye Wei, fawning and flattering.

"Congratulations! Congratulations! Ye Wei is truly the pride of our Class 3 Junior, to become a genius class student!" The students in the class also reacted, offering their congratulations, though they were a bit confused, they knew the mentor wouldn't lie to them!

No one paid any attention to Xiao Qi, whose face was pale and expression dazed.

"Ye, Ye Wei, you really became, became a genius class student?!" Cao Ning, sitting next to him, widened his eyes, staring at Ye Wei in shock, seemingly not quite believing his ears.

"Seems... so!" Ye Wei scratched the back of his head, nodding, apparently the upper management of Nansheng Academy already knew he was Master Yi's only personal disciple.
