One evening.

In my dream, a half-naked handsome young man slid over to me while prostrating.

What the hell. This wasn't the first time1 it happened and… I personally thought this delusion seemed rather stubborn…

Looking around the surroundings, the first thing I noticed was the huge chandelier hanging from the high ceiling… it looked rather plant-like. Sparkling light scattered through the windows. The walls seemed to continue endlessly, the floor was polished until you could see your reflection. There were all sorts of mysterious decorations. It was like it was based in medieval Europe with a drop of poisonous atmosphere. And in the center of this sort of space, was me. To be exact… I was in the middle of a spacious room that was like a banquet hall of a castle and placed alone on a bed. This seemed really out of place. Then something ran down from the throne several steps away, now, just a little away from the bed, was a groveling half-naked man.

Everything felt familiar. As expected, this seems to be a continuation of a previous dream.

Yesterday… no, the day before yesterday. I had a similar dream. This young man that had ran up, definitely called me "God of Destruction!" I'm already tired of being thrown into this amazing delusion. While thinking in silence, I covered myself with the blanket and crawled into the bed. Maybe my dream will come to an end and I'll wake up to an ordinary morning.

—Some people say that your hidden desires surface in your dreams. A handsome young man crawling on the floor is supposed to immerse me in joy, what kind of wish is that. That's enough. Let's not think about it anymore.

"O God of Destruction! Welcome back!"

There was a muffled bumping sound that sounded painful, him knocking his forehead to the floor was rather worrying. The slightly excited voice resounded through the hall. The beautiful low voice was wasted. When I awoke, my sluggish body was wearing sweats rather than pyjamas.

"…Um-"

"Waha."

"Calling me 'God of Destruction' is disgusting, please stop it. And while you're at it, the headbutting against the floor too."

"My apologies, please forgive me!"

Gon! At the end of the giant bang, the dull sound ceased. First of all, were you even listening to what I was saying. And he still kept prostrating on the ground. I wonder if this is from accumulated stress-… just what the heck is this situation. It'd be better to watch a slightly more wholesome and happy dream.

"Then, what should I call…?"

"Just not that."

"Eh-… 'God of Chaos'-sama."

"Rejected."

"'God of Despair'-sama."

"No."

I'm dazzled by his shortage of vocabulary. There wasn't one decent title. Even the names thought up by Chuuni patients would be better, and so. I felt goosebumps from the unpleasant names. This young man, wanted to treat me as a god. I couldn't understand why. Well, it's useless trying to understand a dream…

"…'God of Massacre'-sama. Ah!…Eh- 'God of Annihilation'-sa, no no! Then, 'God of Invasion'-s 'sleep' ma…. Eh."

Succumbing to exhaustion, I lowered my upper body back down on the bed again, and turned my back towards him. I ignored the flustered voice from behind me. I twisted my body to cover my shoulders with the blanket. Even though my feet were out, there wasn't a problem, as long as my neck was completely comfortable I would be able to settle down. I have work tomorrow. Forgive me for having this questionable and strange dream in the morning. I wonder if I can switch dreams if I fall asleep in a dream, I didn't know if it would be like the day before, where I was sound asleep in the morning.

Closing my eyes, the beautiful low voice gradually receded. Returning me to a good night's sleep…—

Suu, and I went to sleep, then I greeted the morning without seeing the dream. It was a dream I would remember clearly even after waking up. But the contents were subtle, after all, everything was just a delusion. There's no point in caring. Switching gears, I started a new day.

By the time she was able to enjoy the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, it was already too late, losing consciousness, she returned to the dream. Akane could not imagine the extent of just how long their fellowship would last for.
