Chapter 10: - Hitomi

The night time was 8:31.

Huimei leaned against the edge of the table, looking out the floor-to-ceiling window, and then glanced at the phone.

She has made a lot of calls, but her sister Huimei still did not answer. The loss of contact made Hitomi boring and worried.

In fact, she had been to Tokunaga’s house to visit her sister two days ago, but Mr. Tokunaga directly stopped her at the door and did not see her sister at all.

Now two days had passed, and her sister hadn’t even called….

Soon she was back on her work floor and she flipped through the messages on her phone when she suddenly heard some strange noises.

It was…. The sound of a ball hitting the floor?

Hitomi looked at the source of the sound…the ladies’ toilet.

Someone was playing with a ball in the ladies’ toilet?

Hitomi gripped the phone, eased her footsteps, and walked left into the bathroom.

The moment Hitomi walked into the toilet, the sound disappeared.

What the hell?

There was obviously nothing in the toilet.

Hitomi unconsciously breathed a sigh of relief, and then she walked into a toilet stall, just in time to relieve herself.

“Clang clang clang” (flush)

Just as Hitomi finished relieving herself and was about to walk out of the cubicle, her phone rang and she saw the incoming call, it was from Huimei.

Hitomi quickly answered it, then even said.

“Hello? Can you hear me?”

“Zzzzz~” (sound of electricity)

“Hello? I’m Hitomi, may I ask you?”

“Zzzz~”

Hitomi tried to communicate multiple times, but the phone was so jammed with electricity that she could only hear a few monosyllables, followed by a long noise.

“The signal on this phone is so bad…”

Hitomi grumbled, as the call had been disconnected and she could only put the phone away and prepare to leave the cubicle again.

Just as Hitomi walked out of the cubicle, strange noises came out again, this time she could hear them clearly, coming from next door.

“Knock, knock, knock…”

The cubicle over there that Hitomi unconsciously approached, the door of the cubicle was closed, so it was impossible to see inside, only confirming that someone was pounding on the ball inside.

The interval of the pounding was exactly the same, and listening to the noise, Hitomi suddenly woke up!

“What am I doing…. I’d better get out of here…”

Only before she could leave, a rag doll was suddenly thrown through the crack under the door.

This rag doll was wearing a red dress with yellow braids, and her glasses were staring straight at the rag doll.

Nope…. Why would a rag doll stare at someone?

Hitomi’s mind was again unconsciously drawn to the rag doll, and she slowly squatted down to pick it up.

Just then, the door slowly opened….

Hitomi stared at the door as it slowly opened, then the gap grew wider and a black mass of something sticking out of the door….

Hair…. It was hair!

A large clump of hair squeezed through the crack in the door, and then a bloodied hand climbed the door, moving the entire body a little.

Ghost…..

There’s a ghost!

Hitomi saw this weird scene.

She got up from the ground and fled out of the bathroom, then rushed to the security room which was not far from the toilet.

Luckily there was a security guard on duty in the security room and Hitomi calmed down a bit after seeing the man, sitting on a chair in the security room breathing heavily and looking back at her empty behind every now and then.

Before the security guard could say anything, Hitomi was too busy talking about what she saw.

“Security… Someone’s playing a prank in the ladies’ toilet room…”

The sound of the ball, the doll, the hair….

Hitomi told the security guard everything, but all of this was too illusory, and even the security guard couldn’t catch it for a while.

“Okay, let me go check it out.”

The security guard looked at Hitomi in horror and felt that someone was playing a prank in the toilet. As a security guard, he had to check it. If he didn’t do anything, if he was reported to be passive and sabotaged, his job would be gone.

So the security guard picked up a flashlight and walked over towards the toilet room.

Hitomi did not follow out, but looked at the monitor, which happened to be able to see the corridor.

Hitomi stared at the surveillance that glowed blue and soon the security guard was there.

At the moment, the security guard was walking along the corridor with a flashlight, then stood in front of the bathroom and looked inside.

Wait….

“What is that black thing?”

Hitomi’s eyes widened in horror at the black smoke spreading out from the entrance of the toilet.

The security guard was still standing in front of the toilet, the black smoke spread up the guard’s entire body, the guard’s entire body was engulfed in the black mist, then the black mist slowly retreated back into the toilet and the guard disappeared.

Hitomi witnessed this and screamed in fear before snatching the door and leaving the security room.

She trudged back up the stairs, the only thought in her head now was of going home, her heels snapping towers on the stairwell as she desperately tried to make her way down the stairs, but found that the stairs, which were usually short, were now inexhaustible.

“Tread.”

A second person’s footsteps appeared in the stairwell.

The stairs…. Was there anyone else?

Hitomi stopped in her tracks, she just wanted someone to rely on at the moment, even if it was a creepy uncle she hated on a regular basis or a chewing female colleague, she didn’t mind right now.

Please, someone please help me…

Hitomi pinned her hopes on the person walking down the stairs, and at this moment, the person appeared at the corner of the stairs as well.

“Isn’t this the security guard just now?”

Hitomi was scared to tears on her face frantically, she flicked her high heels and ran downstairs desperately.

The ghost guard behind him made a piercing laugh, and the baton equipped with a banging sound made a thumping sound on the iron guardrail, and every sound meant that the ghost security guard was a little closer.

“Don’t…. Don’t!”

Hitomi’s face was full of tears and shock, she was already going fast, but every time she turned back the security guard was getting even closer.

“Why…….. Why should I encounter this?”

Hitomi was so overwhelmed with fear and horror that she actually stumbled and rolled down the stairs, eventually rolling onto the platform on the next floor.

She struggled to get up, and when she looked up, the ghost security guard was already standing in front of her.

The ghost security guard looked at her with a sardonic smile on his face, his eyes containing tears of blood, two bloody tears on his face, his white hands wielding a baton, and he approached Hitomi step by step.

“Go away…. Can someone help me?”

Hitomi cried badly, tears and snot streaming across her face as she fell backwards on her hands and knees, quickly toppling against the wall, unable to retreat.

The ghost security guard raised his baton and swung it at Hitomi’s head.

“Ah!”

Hitomi screamed and closed her eyes.

But after a long time, the imaginary pain didn’t come, and she tentatively opened her eyes to find an extra person standing in front of her.

This……..

This person apparently broke in from the door on the floor. At this moment, he was holding the baton in one hand, and the other hand was against the elbow of the ghost security guard, locking in the ghost security guard’s movements.

Immediately afterwards, with a fierce effort, the ghost security guard soared into the air and fell to the ground in the direction of Chen Lu.

Chen Lu didn’t give the ghost security guard a chance to catch his breath, one hand choked the ghost security guard’s neck, and the other hand made a fist and slammed it into the ghost security guard’s face.

Chen Lu confirmed that the Ghost Security couldn’t move for the moment, and pulled Hitomi up and ran towards the downstairs.

This time the corridor didn’t have an infinite loop, and they quickly rushed out of the office building and walked down the road.

“Are you looking for death? Looking for security to rescue you?”

Chen Lu didn’t even breathe smoothly, so he split his head and scolded.

After all, this was the common sense of their users.
