"Fallen asleep again!"
"If you keep this up, I don't know if you'll make it to the end of the shoot!"
"Right! Just focus on filming the movie. Why do you need to participate in so many events? Are you that desperate for popularity?"
At the set of "Uncle," a few crew members were whispering. The subject of their discussion was Park Ji-hoon, who was curled up in his chair, fast asleep.
This wasn't the first time. During the lunch break, he would quickly eat and take a nap.
"If you leave, if you go away, how should I say goodbye to you..." Suddenly, his phone rang, and Park Ji-hoon instantly woke up. He took out his phone, glanced at the caller ID, and then walked to a secluded corner before answering.
The caller ID showed Xu Xian's phone number.
"Hello!" He answered the call after moving away from the crowd.
"Hey! Did you say something to Taeyeon? She can't even participate in the event today!" It wasn't Xu Xian's voice, but Tiffany's, who was scolding him without any restraint. It was clear she was very agitated, her voice filled with anger, and she had long since thrown away any respect for her senior.
This morning, they found Taeyeon's body cold and her eyes swollen. A large part of the blanket seemed to have been soaked, clearly indicating she had been crying. Not only could she not participate in the event, but she could hardly speak—her voice was hoarse, like sandpaper.
They were all shocked and forced Taeyeon to stay in the dorm to rest.
It wasn't until lunchtime that they had the chance to call Park Ji-hoon. This time, Jessica and the others were also really angry and listened in.
Yuri wanted to say something but couldn't find the words. She was also filled with anger and didn't defend him.
"Do you know how scary Taeyeon looked? You..." Tiffany unleashed all her pent-up anger. Even the members of Girls' Generation had never seen her like this, and Xu Xian was stunned, staring at her in shock.
Park Ji-hoon listened quietly, and after she finished, he said softly, "I'm sorry."
"What good does 'I'm sorry' do?" Tiffany said, even more angry, "What are you thinking?" She had wanted him to comfort Taeye, but the thought of his infidelity made her even angrier.
Since it's like this, let's end it! Don't drag it out, it's not good for either of you.
"It's already done." Park Ji-hoon said calmly.
"What?" Tiffany's anger paused, and she asked in disbelief. Although she had seen him with another woman, she still hoped it was just a temporary mistake and that he would come back to his senses. She never thought he would really break up with Taeye!
"What happened?" Jessica and the others asked in unison, seeing Tiffany's stunned expression.
"He broke up with Taeye." Tiffany said dejectedly.
Jessica and the others were also instantly stunned.
After dating for two years, they had only speculated about when the two would get married, never thinking they would break up! But this never-thought-of event actually happened!
"Who proposed it?" Yuri asked.
"I don't know." Tiffany muttered and hung up, handing the phone back to Xu Xian. Since he had already broken up with Taeye, he no longer had any obligation to them.
"How could this happen?" Even Xu Xian couldn't believe it.
"What's going on between these two? Just because of that incident with Kim Heechul, they broke up?" Jessica burst out, "He always doted on Taeyeon, why such a big reaction this time? And Taeyeon, why not apologize? After all, he had a right to be angry! And Kim Heechul, his habit finally caused trouble..." In the end, she even blamed Kim Heechul.
They had even joked that when Park Ji-hoon and Taeyeon got married, all eight of them would be bridesmaids! But the harsh reality left them all shaken.
Tiffany's lips moved, almost wanting to reveal that Park Ji-hoon had already been with another woman before this! But remembering Taeyeon's repeated warnings, she forced the words back down.
However, she felt a deeper resentment towards Park Ji-hoon. Taeyeon treated him so well, did he know?
"I don't know either, how could they end up like this." Seeing the members looking at her, Tiffany answered勉强地.
"Is it because of the conflict with the company?" Yuri asked.
Jessica and the others looked at Tiffany again. They already knew about the conflict between the company and Park Ji-hoon, so they temporarily tolerated him blocking their phone numbers. They had planned to "extort" both of them once Park Ji-hoon and Taeyeon's relationship was back on track, but now...
"No... it's impossible!" Tiffany shook her head.
The room fell silent.
It was originally just Taeyeon's personal matter, but who could blame Park Ji-hoon for his excellent performance in 2008? They genuinely hoped the two would stay together.
However, Jessica and the others then turned their heads one by one to look at Xu Xian.
They already knew that this little girl's "husband" was Park Ji-hoon!
Xu Xian's face turned red under the gazes of her seniors, and she said somewhat flustered, "It's just a show! And the production team kept it confidential, I didn't know either!" The little girl was very smart and guessed her seniors' thoughts without needing to be told.
"Ah—" Seohyun sighed heavily.
"This complicated relationship..." Hyoyeon also shook her head.
"It will all pass, Pan, don't be angry." Yuri comforted Tiffany. They had all endured the darkest days when they were abandoned by the world, and though they were still young, they had learned to be strong and mature.
After comforting her, they temporarily suppressed their emotions and continued with their events.
At the set.
Although the call had ended, Park Ji-hoon still stood there in a daze for a moment before returning to the crowd. The final words of advice had been said, and now he no longer had the right to do so.
His figure looked somewhat lonely and isolated.
He prepared to find some hot water to drink. His throat was uncomfortable, and his nose was congested, probably from catching a cold in the bathroom earlier.
"Hmm—" As he was getting the hot water, the bustling crew members suddenly fell silent, reminding each other and all looking in one direction, followed by a chorus of exclamations.
"So beautiful!" A male crew member couldn't help but say softly.
"Right!" Many agreed.
"What did you see that you call beautiful?" A female crew member couldn't help but say sarcastically. Men, they're all the same!
"Over here, please... please..." A male crew member led a girl in, being very attentive and occasionally turning back to "smile foolishly" as the other crew members described it.
The red down jacket didn't completely hide the girl's figure. The fitted jeans accentuated her long, straight legs. Unfortunately, the cap was pulled low, and the mask, though pulled down to her chin, still made it hard to see her face. However, this added a mysterious charm, making all the men's gazes involuntarily follow her.
"Senior Park Ji-hoon, you have a fan!" The crew member leading her called out when the girl noticed Park Ji-hoon.
Park Ji-hoon turned his head, saw the girl, and was taken aback, putting down his cup.
"Thank you, senior!" The girl bowed politely to the crew member, and before the crew member could respond, she suddenly changed from her gentle and calm demeanor, ran up, and threw herself into Park Ji-hoon's arms, hugging him and happily calling out, "OPPA!"
Park Ji-hoon's lips twitched, looking at the girl's pretty and mischievous face, speechless.
Who else could it be but Park Min-ah? She even made a silly face!
The male crew members around them couldn't help but look at Park Ji-hoon with envy and jealousy.
"Thanks, I appreciate it!" The crew member leading her heard Park Ji-hoon's voice and reluctantly left, looking back every few steps. Others couldn't see clearly, but he could see that this girl was a goddess-level beauty!
"How did you come here?" Park Ji-hoon finally asked.
"I was afraid OPPA would catch a cold, so I specially stewed some chicken soup to relieve congestion and pain." Park Min-ah lifted the thermal lunch box she was carrying and then scolded herself, "I should have taken a taxi!" She saw that many crew members had already eaten their boxed meals.
Park Ji-hoon looked at her for a moment, then took a small step forward, extended his arms, and embraced her, gently placing his hand on her head.
The soft, fragrant touch made him more acutely aware of his own value. He had just received a call from Tiffany, and his emotions were very sensitive!
"Damn!" Many of the male crew members who were secretly watching the two couldn't help but curse in their hearts. To openly take advantage of a female fan like this! The most envious part was that the girl showed no resistance, like a well-behaved kitten, allowing Park Ji-hoon to hold her.
Everyone on the set, except for the women, wished they could replace Park Ji-hoon!
Is this going to go on forever? Some crew members were already ready to step in and stop them!
After a full minute, Park Ji-hoon finally let go of the girl. Then, everyone saw her take off her gloves, place the lunch box on a nearby chair, and turn to smile at Park Ji-hoon.
Steam rose and dissipated.
"So fragrant!" Nearby crew members couldn't help but sniff.
"There are only two chicken legs; the rest I'll eat when I get home tonight." Park Min-ah said. She wasn't used to calling Park Ji-hoon "OPPA."
"One for you, one for me." Park Ji-hoon squatted down and said, "I just had lunch." A chicken only has a few legs; she must have been reluctant to buy two chickens.
"Okay." Park Min-ah didn't refuse.
There was only one pair of chopsticks, so Park Ji-hoon used his hands to eat.
It was rich and delicious!
"Is big brother sick?" Park Min-ah, also holding a chicken leg, put the chopsticks aside and asked. His voice had a nasal tone when he spoke.
"Yes, a little." Park Ji-hoon said. There was no way to hide it from her, and there was no point in hiding it.
"I brought medicine. After you eat, remember to take it." Park Min-ah said.
"Okay." Park Ji-hoon paused and responded in a low voice.
"Don't forget! I've already divided it. Big brother can take one packet at a time." Park Min-ah reminded him.
"Okay." Park Ji-hoon just kept responding. He didn't know what else to say. Although he was the older brother, he was the one being pampered. No matter how much cold words he faced outside, he was the happiest at home.
After eating, he drank the chicken soup and, as soon as he put down the lunch box, saw Park Min-ah hand him a tissue.
"Don't use a handkerchief; it's hard to wash!" Park Min-ah said with a smile.
Park Ji-hoon nodded.
