Chapter 28

Sunny and Hyo-yun, upon seeing Park Ji-hoon walk out of the large tent, were surprised to see Yoo-ri follow shortly after. They exchanged glances and quietly followed them out.

Then, they witnessed an even more surprising scene—Yoo-ri actually took the cigarette right out of Park Ji-hoon's mouth!

When did these two become so close?

Park Ji-hoon turned to look at Yoo-ri, understanding why she had come over. He gave a faint smile.

"OPPA, why are you so well-tempered now?" Yoo-ri's words were sharp, angry that he was not standing up for himself. After all, he was a popular actor and a senior; how could he let a junior who had only debuted for two or three months mock him?

"There's no need to argue with them," Park Ji-hoon replied. "In fact, I should thank them."

"Thank them?" Yoo-ri was skeptical, wondering if he had lost his mind!

"Yes," Park Ji-hoon looked at her face and explained calmly, "If it weren't for their underestimation, how would I have the motivation to live a more fulfilling life?"

Yoo-ri was taken aback, the anger in her eyes gradually fading. However, his change was significant! In the past, due to his delicate features and quiet personality, he always seemed somewhat immature. Now, he seemed overly mature!

Was it because of his breakup with Taeyeon?

"Besides, I don't have the energy to argue or hold grudges now," Park Ji-hoon continued. "I don't even have enough time to sleep, let alone argue. More importantly, my mind is already troubled enough; I don't want to add more turmoil."

"Then what about us?" Yoo-ri suddenly said, "OPPA, do you know how much Pani, Sica, and the others are upset with you?"

"You can tell from Sunny and Hyo-yun's attitudes," Park Ji-hoon said with a hint of melancholy. "Life is like a train heading to the grave. There are many stops along the way, and it's hard for anyone to stay with you from start to finish. When the person who has been with you gets off, even if you are reluctant, you should be grateful and wave goodbye."

For some reason, Yoo-ri felt a slight pain in her heart. After pondering his words for a moment, she asked, "What about Hyun?"

Instantly, Park Ji-hoon seemed to be hit where it hurt, unable to maintain his calm demeanor.

With the connection to Hyun, how could he completely sever ties with Tiffany and the others? Not to mention, the "We Got Married" production team would definitely not let this go!

He didn't have the right to bargain with the production team, having entered through connections.

"Fine! OPPA, you deal with your own problems!" Yoo-ri said impatiently, "I'll pass your words on verbatim!"

"Okay," Park Ji-hoon quickly composed himself.

"OPPA, smoke less!" Yoo-ri said before turning around. His smoking habit wasn't severe, but when the pressure increased, it was the only way to relieve it.

Moreover, although he said he should thank the juniors for underestimating him, how could he not care? But what could he do? If he said something, his teammates would remind him. Was he going to scold them as a senior? Since they weren't from the same system, doing so would easily cause resentment. It wouldn't be worth it to tarnish himself for these people, and it would be too easy for them. Better to wait for the future.

"Also, Kim Heechul OPPA was invited by Shin-yeong-ah," Yoo-ri explained.

"Okay," Park Ji-hoon's voice deepened.

"I'm going back," Yoo-ri said and returned to the crowd. Spending too much time alone together could easily cause misunderstandings.

However, she didn't realize that her actions had already aroused Sunny and Hyo-yun's suspicions. They didn't deliberately eavesdrop, but after seeing her with Park Ji-hoon, they left, but their doubts remained unresolved.

Park Ji-hoon waited for a while before returning to the large tent.

The shooting resumed, and everyone chatted and prepared dinner.

"Does OPPA Ji-hoon often watch 'Youth Over Flowers'?" Park Hyo-min suddenly approached Park Ji-hoon with a fake microphone. From previous interactions, she found Park Ji-hoon easy to get along with.

"Oh, often," Park Ji-hoon smiled and said.

"Then OPPA must know a lot about each of us?" Hyo-min asked, a bit excited. She wanted to ask about herself, as she had little presence in "Youth Over Flowers" and always tried to prove her existence.

Park Ji-hoon nodded.

"Then who is this?" Kim Shin-young, attracted by their conversation, pointed to Sun-hwa and asked Park Ji-hoon.

"Sun-hwa from Secret," Park Ji-hoon answered without hesitation.

"Wow—" Sun-hwa immediately raised her arms in excitement. Her presence in "Youth Over Flowers" wasn't much better than Hyo-min's.

"Thank you, OPPA! It seems I'm still popular!" She didn't forget to thank Park Ji-hoon.

"Because I didn't know much, I studied before coming," Park Ji-hoon added.

"Phew—" Kim Tae-woo directly spat out the tofu in his mouth.

"Ha ha..." A burst of laughter echoed.

"OPPA!" Sun-hwa lightly hit Park Ji-hoon, dissatisfied. She had a very outgoing personality, very open and extroverted, and dared to "touch" a senior on their first meeting. However, it was hard to dislike her.

"What is Sun-hwa's full name?" Yoo-ri suddenly asked Park Ji-hoon, as if a light bulb had gone off in her head.

Park Ji-hoon's eyes flickered slightly, and he answered without hesitation, "Isn't it Baek Sun-hwa?"

"Phew—" Kim Tae-woo, who had just taken a sip of water to calm down, spat out the water again, then laughed and coughed.

"OPPA!" Sun-hwa called out loudly, her face turning red.

Yoo-ri hadn't expected Park Ji-hoon to be so in sync with her. After laughing, she lightly slapped his hand in celebration. Shooting for a day and a night, with so many people, it was really hard to ensure a single shot would make it to the final 1-hour video!

"Sun-hwa!" Kim Shin-young corrected her.

"Sorry," Park Ji-hoon apologized.

"It's okay!" Sun-hwa waved her hand, very optimistic, "At least my shot is guaranteed!" She was obsessed with not being cut from the final edit!

"Do you know this person?" Kim Shin-young asked, pulling Goo Hara. Unconsciously, the focus of the shooting had shifted to Park Ji-hoon.

"Hello, senior, I'm Goo Hara from Kara!" Goo Hara cleverly introduced herself first. Although they had greeted each other before, she was afraid he might not remember her name.

"I know, the one who always falls with a 'bang'!" Park Ji-hoon's words made everyone laugh again.

This was a reference to Goo Hara's nickname in "Youth Over Flowers," "Bang Hara."

"Have you heard that OPPA Ji-hoon is a fan of Kara?" Sunny suddenly asked. She had watched the recently aired episode of "Family Outing."

"Really?" Kim Shin-young looked at him in surprise and asked, "Who is your favorite in Kara?" He was invited as Yoo-ri's close relative; how could he be a fan of Kara?

"Nicole!" Park Ji-hoon answered without hesitation.

"Thank you, OPPA!" Nicole quickly bowed in gratitude.

Goo Hara, however, covered her face, looking embarrassed.

"Because I like Nicole, I specifically learned about Kara, so I know about Goo Hara," Park Ji-hoon added.

"Ah—" Goo Hara fell to the ground, slapping the floor with her hands. She had been "killed" twice!

Everyone laughed again, and they were also a bit puzzled. How had he, who had been average before, suddenly become so impressive? Not only Hyo-yun, Nicole, and Beast, but even the members of "Youth Over Flowers" had become his supporting cast!

"What about us, Girls' Generation?" Kim Shin-young finally asked, suspecting that he might have prepared a script during his break!

"Girls' Generation? Where are they?" Park Ji-hoon's pupils slightly contracted—though he couldn't be completely natural—his face showed a puzzled expression as he looked around and asked.

"Yoo-ri, Sunny, Hyo-yun!" Kim Shin-young was ready to see how he would respond. As Yoo-ri's close relative, he liked Kara, but couldn't see Girls' Generation?

"Ah—" Park Ji-hoon shook his head and said, "Without Yoon-a, it's not Girls' Generation!"

A burst of laughter followed.

Sunny and Hyo-yun laughed along, but their expressions were somewhat stiff. It was different when said by someone familiar, and what about Taeyeon?

Yoo-ri hit him a few more times, half in happiness and half in dissatisfaction.

"Cough!" At this moment, Hyo-min, who had initially wanted to try being an MC, couldn't help but cough lightly.

"Ah!" Park Ji-hoon pretended to be startled and turned to Kim Shin-young, saying, "This one is usually quiet!"

"Ha ha..." Everyone almost fell over laughing. Not only was it funny, but he had hit the nail on the head regarding Hyo-min's image in "Youth Over Flowers."

"This is from T-ara..." Kim Shin-young wanted to introduce Park Ji-hoon.

"Hyo-min!" Park Ji-hoon said, "T-ara, 'BoPeepBoPeep'!"

"So you do know!" Kim Shin-young said.

Hyo-min also looked satisfied, making a proud face and nodding.

"This one was also studied specifically," Park Ji-hoon added calmly.

"Phew—" Kim Tae-woo felt like he was about to collapse! Even without anything in his mouth, he felt like he was choking.

Yoo-ri looked at Park Ji-hoon, somewhat dazed.

The plastic tent was the stage, and without realizing it, Park Ji-hoon had stood at the center, the microphone in his hand, the spotlight shining only on him—so dazzling that everyone else became his supporting cast!

"His second flaw is that he's not funny!" The members' evaluation of Park Ji-hoon during a "candlelight chat" echoed in her ears.

"Tsk! What do you know?" Taeyeon had disdainfully countered at the time.

It turned out that he wasn't unfunny; his humor just didn't belong to them!

A casual remark could make everyone laugh uncontrollably, and even Kim Tae-woo was almost out of breath—this was the first time he had seen Kim Tae-woo like this since "Youth Over Flowers" began.

Han Sun-hwa, Goo Hara, Park Hyo-min, and others were almost driven mad by him! However, they were also very grateful for the shots he helped them secure, subtly thanking him.

In the midst of laughter and conversation, Park Ji-hoon's image in everyone's mind became rich and vivid.

Beast was still just a group of blurry faces, their names barely remembered.
