Chapter 53

On March 31, Park Ji-hoon and Seo Hyun met early in the morning and headed to Sangdo-dong. Today was the day they would officially move into their new home, and guests were expected to come.

The two had already appeared in five episodes of "We Got Married," and what left the deepest impression on the audience was Seo Hyun's incredibly innocent personality! This led to a split among viewers, with some really liking her and others finding her annoying. After all, the main audience of the show was ordinary people, not fans of a particular person.

Sometimes, Park Ji-hoon felt as if he were taking care of a child, gradually teaching Seo Hyun about emotions and how to handle situations.

They had developed a habit of meeting regularly.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" After this meeting, Seo Hyun noticed that Park Ji-hoon was staring at her and asked curiously.

"Nothing, I just find it interesting," Park Ji-hoon said with a smile. Her pigtails and hair clips made her look like a little girl.

"Interesting?" Seo Hyun shook her head in confusion, not understanding.

Park Ji-hoon smiled and suddenly asked, "Johnny Depp, Park Ji-hoon?"

"Park Ji-hoon!" Seo Hyun hesitated for a moment and then answered quickly. The last time they went on a trip, Park Ji-hoon's earnest advice had had some effect.

However, Park Ji-hoon's questions didn't end there.

"Park Ji-hoon, sweet potato?"

"Uh—" Seo Hyun hesitated again.

"I know, I'll try my best," Park Ji-hoon said with a bitter smile, looking dejected. He didn't lecture her this time.

"Ah—" Seo Hyun let out a small sound, at least not answering that she really liked sweet potatoes, as she had the last time.

The last day of March, the weather was gradually warming up. However, it was drizzling today, making it quite cool, so both of them were wearing thick coats.

When they went upstairs, Park Ji-hoon handed the umbrella to Seo Hyun and carried the two guitars himself.

"Wow—" When they entered the room, Seo Hyun exclaimed and then suddenly shouted, "Ah! It's the sky!" She pointed at the sky-themed wallpaper on the ceiling.

Park Ji-hoon, who was walking in front, raised his eyebrows in surprise. This little one had such a playful side? No wonder she was a member of Girls' Generation!

The wallpaper, sofa, bed, and other items were already set up, but various things like potted plants and soundproofing panels were scattered around the room, waiting for them to organize.

"Really beautiful!" Seo Hyun's attitude was completely different from the first time she came, and she was now very satisfied, often praising the room.

"Let's start organizing," Park Ji-hoon said, putting down their luggage, taking off his coat, and rolling up his sleeves. He had always lived alone before Park Min-ah came to Seoul.

"Okay!" Seo Hyun nodded and got up.

Most of the work was done by Park Ji-hoon.

He moved two almost human-sized potted plants to the balcony by himself, hung the curtains alone, and only asked for her help when moving the mattress because of its size.

He was very organized.

Seo Hyun watched him in surprise. She had thought he was lazy because he said he couldn't cook, but she didn't expect him to be so good at organizing!

After they finished with the large items, they took a short break, and Park Ji-hoon started taking things out of his backpack.

Items they had used together, like movie tickets, blood donation certificates, and the first letter they wrote. Since they had dated, they understood the significance of these things.

Seo Hyun also brought a pillow, an eye mask, and other items.

"Ah—" At this moment, Park Ji-hoon took out a box from the bag, opened it carefully, and Seo Hyun's eyes lit up as she leaned in.

A European-style multi-sailed ship wind chime!

Not very large, made of pine, acrylic, and aluminum tubes, with a pine ship on top and silver-white aluminum tubes and sea-blue fish hanging below.

It was exquisite and beautiful!

After assembling it, Park Ji-hoon handed the wind chime to Seo Hyun and asked, "How about hanging it in the room?"

"Sure!" Seo Hyun nodded happily, admiring the wind chime with delight. Suddenly, she asked, "Is it okay?" She had seen this wind chime before, the first time she went to Park Ji-hoon's house.

"It's fine," Park Ji-hoon said with a smile. Park Min-ah had packed it for him and told him to bring it over. The wind chime was made by Park Min-ah, who had bought the materials and made it herself.

"Really beautiful!" Seo Hyun gently touched the aluminum tubes, making a few clear "ding-dong" sounds. She looked like a child who had just received their favorite toy.

Park Ji-hoon smiled and took another box out of his backpack.

"What's this?" Seo Hyun leaned in curiously as he opened the box. The wind chime had given her a big surprise, and she was looking forward to the next item.

"Aren't you a fan of Johnny Depp?" Park Ji-hoon took out a blueprint and said, "I bought a model of the 'Black Pearl' from 'Pirates of the Caribbean.' We can assemble it together when we have time."

"Wow—" Seo Hyun leaned in and exclaimed. The blueprint showed an antique sailboat, not very large but very detailed and exquisite.

"Do you like it?" Park Ji-hoon asked with a smile, seeing her reaction.

"Um-hum!" Seo Hyun nodded happily.

"Call me 'Hoon-oppa'." Park Ji-hoon said suddenly.

Seo Hyun's face turned red, but she obediently called, "Hoon-oppa." She had promised to do it, even if she was shy.

"Um-hum!" Park Ji-hoon nodded and said with a smile, "I'll go hang the wind chime."

"Okay!" Seo Hyun followed him like a little helper, holding the wind chime.

After hanging it, Seo Hyun opened the window to let the wind in and listened to the natural chime sounds before sitting back on the sofa.

"My turn!" The little one excitedly opened her bag. Seeing what Park Ji-hoon had brought, she suddenly wanted to decorate their "home" well.

Horses, dinosaurs, and the Na'vi, all models from the movie "Avatar" that they had watched together.

Park Ji-hoon played with her for a while before continuing to organize the smaller items. He noticed that this little one also had a playful side, but only showed it when she was very happy and with people she was close to.

Halfway through the organization, Seo Hyun's phone rang.

Park Ji-hoon paused.

Seo Hyun ran happily to answer the call, speaking while looking out the window. Suddenly, her voice stopped, and her expression froze.

Tae-yeon had come too!

Because everyone was busy with their schedules, she had told her sisters that whoever had time could come. However, she hadn't expected Tae-yeon to be included.

What was going on?

Feeling something odd behind her, she turned to see Park Ji-hoon by the window. His expression hadn't changed much, but his eyes had narrowed.

"What should we do?" Seo Hyun looked at him with a hint of panic.

"Come down quickly!" At this moment, Hyo-yeon shouted at Seo Hyun without any hesitation.

"Let's go down." Park Ji-hoon smiled and said. They couldn't look like this in front of the camera.

Tae-yeon, Tiffany, and Hyo-yeon arrived in the courtyard.

Before leaving, when Tae-yeon suggested coming along, Tiffany and Hyo-yeon were quite surprised. Especially Tiffany, who had tried to persuade Tae-yeon. However, Tae-yeon's words, "I can't see him at any other time," made her chest tighten, and she couldn't continue her persuasion.

They could only try to ease the tension.

"Big sister!" Seo Hyun walked in front, greeting the three happily. She was still very happy, as Tae-yeon was usually very nice to her.

"Welcome!" Park Ji-hoon greeted the three and took the bags they were carrying.

Tae-yeon, standing at the back, handed him the gift but moved her umbrella over his head first. It was still raining, and he had come down without an umbrella.

Instantly, the cool raindrops wetted Tae-yeon's shoulder.

Park Ji-hoon subtly pushed her hand back with his arm and gestured for her to go upstairs.

Seo Hyun greeted Hyo-yeon and Tiffany and left Tae-yeon with him.

Tae-yeon pursed her lips and walked ahead, head down. She wasn't here to cause trouble! After going upstairs, her expression had already brightened, and she looked around, asking, "Do you have slippers? My socks are very fancy!"

Hyo-yeon and Tiffany didn't say anything, making her voice sound out of place.

Park Ji-hoon, following behind her, felt a slight pain in his heart when he heard her words. Her childish behavior was like a primary school student trying to attract the attention of a crush by speaking loudly and playing around.

"What should I do? My socks are so embarrassing!" Tae-yeon continued when no one responded.

"They're quite nice," Park Ji-hoon said after a pause.

Tae-yeon's body trembled slightly, and she instinctively wanted to turn around but restrained herself because of the cameras in the room.

"Nothing has been organized yet!" At this moment, Hyo-yeon and Tiffany commented on the messy living room.

"Didn't you leave early?" Tae-yeon interjected.

"We're organizing now," Seo Hyun explained quickly.

Park Ji-hoon went inside, put down the gifts from Tae-yeon, Tiffany, and Hyo-yeon, and stood next to Seo Hyun.

Seo Hyun had wanted to formally introduce them, as she had always dreamed, but Tiffany and Hyo-yeon were already familiar with Park Ji-hoon.

"Ji-hoon-oppa's fashion sense is great, that T-shirt is so cool!" Tae-yeon walked up to Park Ji-hoon, pulling his T-shirt and praising him as if they were old friends.

When he came out, it was raining, and Park Min-ah had forced him to wear a woolen long-sleeved T-shirt, black and white, one sleeve black and the other white, which looked very cool with his physique.

"Really!" Tiffany's eyes showed surprise, not understanding Tae-yeon's intentions, and quickly agreed to prepare for any unexpected situations.

"Thank you." Park Ji-hoon's eyes flickered slightly as he thanked her. The T-shirt was specially bought by Park Min-ah from Dongdaemun for today's housewarming party.
