Neither Park Ji-hoon nor Park Min-ya used perfume, so they were particularly sensitive to any unfamiliar scent.
"Are you a puppy? You can even smell that!" Park Ji-hoon said with a mix of laughter and exasperation, "I just signed a few autographs for some female fans when I left the cinema."
"Oh." Park Min-ya finally relaxed and said, "I was worried that you might have been suppressing yourself for too long, and once you succeed, you might not be able to handle it well." It was a simple truth; a student who studied in a closed high school for three years often fell into decadence when entering a free and open university, let alone someone who had struggled in the entertainment industry for ten years.
Park Ji-hoon felt a warmth in his heart, lifted his hand, and pinched her nose, smiling lightly. "Always talking like an adult! If someone didn't know, they'd think you were the older sister! Don't worry, I know what I'm doing and what I want to do." He understood her concern, but on the other hand, precisely because he had struggled for ten years, he knew how hard success was to achieve and thus cherished it even more.
"As long as you know your limits." Park Min-ya nodded slowly.
"When did you learn this from Seohyun?" Park Ji-hoon suddenly noticed that her lecturing manner was very similar to Seohyun's, and he couldn't help but tease her.
"What's wrong with Seohyun-ssi? A healthy attitude towards life, more... ah!" Park Min-ya was speaking when she suddenly screamed and turned to run.
Park Ji-hoon spread his arms and lunged at her!
"Let's celebrate the success." Park Ji-hoon said as he chased after her. Only now did his mood truly relax, at least he could guarantee success. As for how far he could go, that would depend on the audience's reaction, which no one could predict.
"No! It's hot, all sweat!" Park Min-ya shouted as she ran around the sofa and coffee table. Although she often spoke maturely, she was still a 20-year-old girl, lively and playful.
"I won't tease you anymore!" After chasing her symbolically for a circle, Park Ji-hoon panted slightly and said, "I'll change clothes and take a shower, it's too hot!" Park Min-ya was dressed in a tank top and shorts, while he was in long pants and a T-shirt, which made him feel even hotter.
"Have some ice cream first!" Park Min-ya said hurriedly.
"Right, I forgot!" Park Ji-hoon patted his head and said.
"So excited, the audience's reaction must have been great, right?" Park Min-ya finally asked about the movie.
"Yep! It was great." Park Ji-hoon said while eating ice cream and told her about the audience and journalists' reactions.
"Mm-hmm." Park Min-ya nodded slowly as she listened.
"You've been in contact with Seohyun a lot lately, right?" Park Ji-hoon asked suddenly after finishing his story.
"Yes, we've been in contact a lot, what's wrong?" Park Min-ya asked curiously. She and Seohyun were friends of the same age and both loved learning. After the last visit, their relationship had rapidly progressed, and they were now good friends, almost like best friends.
"You looked just like her just now." Park Ji-hoon said, imitating her serious and earnest expression, which was clearly a habit of Seohyun's.
"It's not a habit unique to someone. To show that you're listening seriously, you would naturally have that expression!" Park Min-ya explained, then looked at him suspiciously and asked, "But why does Brother always say I look like Seohyun-ssi?"
"I just suddenly noticed that you and she are similar in some ways." Park Ji-hoon replied.
"Oh." Park Min-ya responded, then asked, "How are things with Taeyeon-ssi?"
"Take it slow." Park Ji-hoon turned and said, "We've made good progress."
"Oh." Park Min-ya looked at his back, muttered, and seemed to want to say something but couldn't bring herself to speak.
"Watch my phone for me." A while later, Park Ji-hoon came out and handed her his phone.
"Okay." Park Min-ya took the phone and, as usual, brought out his clothes after he went to the bathroom.
Soon, the phone rang.
"Hello." Park Min-ya picked up the phone and saw an unfamiliar number.
"Uh! Hello." A man's voice, hearing a clear female voice, was taken aback and quickly said, "Is this Miss Park Min-ya?"
"Yes, who is this?" Park Min-ya wasn't surprised; many people already knew she was Park Ji-hoon's sister.
"I am **Rong, an editor from *MOVIEWEEK* magazine, and I would like to invite Mr. Park Ji-hoon for an interview." The man said.
"**Rong, hello. Can you wait a moment? He's in the shower right now." Park Min-ya said hurriedly. She suddenly regretted not going to the VIP premiere of *Uncle*; it hadn't even been a day, and a magazine was already inviting him for an interview. It seemed the movie was really successful!
"That's unfortunate." **Rong laughed and said, "Sure, this is the number. It shouldn't take too long, right?"
"It won't!" Park Min-ya said.
"Great, I'm sorry to bother you, Miss Park Min-ya." The man said politely.
"You're welcome." Park Min-ya replied politely. She knew her behavior represented some of Park Ji-hoon's face, so she tried her best to be her best.
After ending the call, she went directly to the bathroom and knocked on the door.
"What's up?" The water sound decreased, and Park Ji-hoon asked.
"*MOVIEWEEK* magazine wants to invite you for an interview." Park Min-ya couldn't wait to tell him the news. She had seen him read this magazine before, and from the name, it was clearly a movie-related magazine, which should be good.
"Oh, I see. I'll call back after I finish showering." Park Ji-hoon paused and said. He hadn't expected to receive an interview invitation so quickly, and it was even from the influential *MOVIEWEEK*!
He hadn't felt such excitement in a long time!
"Okay." Park Min-ya responded and returned to the living room, happily plopping down on the sofa. More than half a year of effort had finally brought a turning point to his career!
At that moment, the phone rang again.
Not another magazine invitation, right? Park Min-ya quickly picked up the phone and saw it was Krystal.
"Uncle!" As soon as she pressed the answer button, she heard Krystal call in a strange tone.
"Cough! It's me." Park Min-ya coughed lightly and said.
"Ah! Min-ya-ssi." Krystal exclaimed and hurriedly said, "I was joking with OPPA!"
"I know." Park Min-ya smiled and said, "He's in the shower. What do you need him for?"
"Nothing, just wanted to congratulate OPPA." Krystal said, "The movie was really great, and OPPA's performance was even better!" She hadn't had time to talk to Park Ji-hoon before, so naturally, she wanted to call and congratulate him. Even she knew that Park Ji-hoon's movie was a huge success!
"Should I tell him, or will you call back later?" Park Min-ya asked.
"I'll call back when I have time." Krystal said, "It feels more sincere to congratulate him in person."
"True." Park Min-ya smiled and said.
"I won't bother you, Min-ya-ssi. Goodbye." Krystal said.
"Take care of yourself, your voice sounds weak." Park Min-ya reminded her.
"That's because I miss the food you make!" Krystal said with a hint of coquettishness.
Park Min-ya's heart stirred and said, "Is it convenient for me to bring some 'delicious food' to see you tomorrow at noon?"
"Ah!" Krystal exclaimed in surprise and quickly said, "Convenient, convenient!"
"Then it's settled. Send me your address later." Park Min-ya said.
"Okay!" Krystal eagerly agreed and suddenly asked, "What about OPPA?"
"He won't be back for lunch." Park Min-ya said. Recently, Park Ji-hoon rarely came home for lunch.
"Oh." Krystal was relieved.
The crew of *Cutie Honey* suddenly noticed that Krystal, who had been listless, suddenly became energetic after making a call to someone.
"Is it a boyfriend?" A female actor whispered during a break.
This "boyfriend" was obvious to anyone who wasn't too naive. Although the rumors about Krystal and Park Ji-hoon had quickly disappeared, their influence remained. Some actors, seeing that the new singer Krystal, who had a minor role in the same drama, had suddenly become one of the lead actors in a movie, were already jealous and would gossip behind her back.
"Fairness" was the least valuable word in the entertainment industry, leading to various tactics and complex human relationships.
Krystal, after ending the call, happily began to rest, unaware of the gossip.
In the apartment, Park Min-ya received a call from Taeyeon. Just as she was about to say something, she saw Park Ji-hoon come out and quickly handed him the phone.
Park Ji-hoon spoke to Taeyeon while returning to his room. He was still bare-chested, and the air conditioning in the living room made him feel cold.
Taeyeon's purpose was the same as Krystal's, to congratulate him.
After that, similar calls kept coming. Of course, Park Ji-hoon didn't forget to call **Rong back first.
Many friends took the initiative to call him.
The entertainment industry was like this; a single movie could change a person's or a company's fate!
Park Min-ya had never seen him so "busy" before. The number of calls he received in one night was almost as many as he had received in the past six months! After living in Seoul for more than half a year, she had always thought that Park Ji-hoon had few friends, so she joked that he had only known ten girls in ten years. Now, she suddenly realized that he had quite a few "friends"!
After the night was quiet, she recorded a sudden inspiration.
After completing her last book, she didn't know what she was writing next.
