No wonder I felt a dark aura surrounding this girl the first time I saw her; it turns out she is the woman with the Huang surname that Grandpa mentioned. Indeed, everything is as predicted in Grandpa’s divination!
When I was about five meters away from Huang Yiyi, I called out her name, "Huang Yiyi."
Hearing me call her, Huang Yiyi stopped in her tracks and turned to look at me.
Huang Yiyi was truly beautiful, with big eyes and a round face. Most importantly, she wore her short hair with perfect confidence.
"Who are you?" After sizing me up from head to toe, Huang Yiyi asked in a somewhat cold tone. To her, I might just be some toad trying to confess his love to her.
"My name is Li Yao. Has someone in your family been sick recently, and despite visiting many hospitals, they haven’t gotten any better?"
I got straight to the point, hoping to shock Huang Yiyi with my first words.
If I didn’t do this, a girl like her would most likely ignore me.
Sure enough, my words had the desired effect. Huang Yiyi’s expression turned to shock. Her gaze, which had been cold, now became one of surprise and caution. "How do you know? Who are you?"
"Don’t worry, I have no ill intentions! I just want to tell you that I can solve this problem."
Huang Yiyi looked at me with a doubtful expression, clearly still skeptical. After a few seconds of doubt, she asked in a highly disbelieving tone, "Can you really solve it?"
I knew I had her. With confidence, I nodded and said, "Of course."
Actually, I wasn’t entirely sure. I still didn’t know what was wrong with her family. From the way her eyebrows were disheveled and a pimple on her right eye, it was clear that there was a problem at home. She was fine, so it must be someone in her family who was sick.
I would need to see the situation to make a definitive conclusion.
Just as Huang Yiyi agreed to take me to see, Ye Tingting’s voice came from behind, "Li Yao, here’s your skewers."
She handed me a pack of skewers. After taking them, I said, "Thank you. Can you give me your phone number? I’ll treat you to a meal after I’m done with this."
We exchanged phone numbers, and then I got into the car with Huang Yiyi. As I left, I saw Ye Tingting’s stunned expression through the glass. She still held the two hundred yuan she had intended to lend me.
The one who was sick was Huang Yiyi’s father, Huang Sihai. About a month ago, during a health check-up, he was diagnosed with a serious condition. The doctor prescribed medication and took appropriate treatment measures.
However, a week later, when he went for a follow-up, the condition not only hadn’t improved but had turned into early-stage lung cancer. Early-stage cancer is curable, so he quickly gathered many renowned doctors for treatment.
Another week passed, and the follow-up results were shocking. The early-stage cancer had progressed to the middle stage, and it seemed that all the treatments were ineffective.
Just last week, his middle-stage cancer had rapidly progressed to the late stage, astonishing all the experts.
Apart from the progression of the cancer, a few days ago, Huang Sihai told his family about a dream he had. In the dream, a bald, bearded old man appeared and kept scolding him, but he couldn’t hear what was being said.
This went on for three days, and now he had fallen into a coma.
Soon, Huang Yiyi and I arrived at the Huang residence. The Huang family was very wealthy, living in a large, self-built villa.
Outside the villa was a courtyard, and to the left of the entrance was a bamboo grove, located directly to the south of the house. According to the Five Elements of Geography, a bamboo grove to the south is truly auspicious, ensuring that the family will have talented children, wealth, and prosperity, with each generation surpassing the last.
This family was not only wealthy but also had outstanding academic achievements.
I also looked to the southeast of the villa, where there was a viaduct about seventy to eighty meters away. According to the records, this was the Eastern Road and the Southeastern Bridge, which promised generations of happiness and leisure.
This was another excellent feng shui layout, indicating that the Huang family was not only wealthy but also had someone in a position of power.
Finally, I looked up at the mountain behind the villa. The mountain, like a true dragon, overlooked the Huang family’s villa, a perfect example of the Green Dragon raising its head. The location of this villa was truly exceptional, and it would be impossible to find such a feng shui position without the guidance of a master.
Inside the house, everything was arranged according to feng shui principles, with no issues.
Soon, Huang Yiyi led me into a room. Standing at the door, I could clearly feel an aura inside that didn’t match the feng shui of the house.
There were four people in the room: two old men, a patient, and a young man.
"Yiyi, why are you back? Didn’t you go to school?" Suddenly, an elderly man frowned and asked Huang Yiyi. This old man was Huang Yiyi’s grandfather, Huang Baiwan.
"Grandpa, I..."
"Enough." Huang Baiwan waved his hand and said sternly, "Go downstairs; Doctor Zhao is giving your father acupuncture."
Just as Huang Yiyi was about to explain, I interjected, "Acupuncture won’t help this condition!"
As soon as I spoke, Huang Baiwan’s gaze turned to me, and Doctor Zhao, who was administering the acupuncture, stopped and turned to look at me with his sharp eyes.
"Grandpa, this is Li Yao. He says he can cure my father!" Huang Yiyi quickly introduced me.
"Is he a doctor?" Huang Baiwan and Doctor Zhao remained silent, but the young man asked with a look of defiance.
Huang Yiyi looked at me with confusion, unsure of what I did.
I calmly said, "I’m not a doctor; I’m a fortune teller and feng shui expert."
It was my first time doing this, but I had to appear composed to win their trust. Grandpa told me that in our line of work, we can lack anything but confidence.
"A fortune teller and feng shui expert? I think you’re a fraud! These days, anyone can be anything. So young and not doing something decent, coming here to be a charlatan and a fraud. Miss Huang, I’m telling you responsibly, you’ve been deceived." The young man was clearly annoyed, as he saw my presence as a challenge to his master.
In his view, if his master couldn’t cure the condition, no one in the world could!
Huang Yiyi also looked at me with disbelief, clearly doubting whether she had been deceived.
The young man was about to criticize me further, but Doctor Zhao interrupted, "Young man, you say my acupuncture won’t help Mr. Huang, and you claim to be a fortune teller and feng shui expert. So, according to you, is Mr. Huang’s condition related to feng shui?"
Doctor Zhao’s words were filled with ridicule, and he looked as if he wanted to crush me underfoot.
