An hour later, we arrived at Yun Tun Mountain by car.
Yun Tun Mountain is located in the southwestern corner. On the left is a winding river, which, according to Huang Baiwan, flows into Ma Ling River. There is a large canyon over there, and this river converges into it.
On the right side of Yun Tun Mountain are several flat peaks. Except for the first one, which is tall, the rest are all flat.
This is a perfect place. The river on the left represents the Azure Dragon, and the tall mountain on the right resembles a crouching tiger! The back is flat, which is the legendary White Tiger formation.
Yun Tun Mountain is truly a treasure land. Although there is no Vermilion Bird in front and no Black Tortoise at the back, anyone buried here, finding a suitable feng shui spot, will surely bring blessings to their descendants.
Huang Baiwan's grandfather was buried on the hillside of Yun Tun Mountain. We stopped the car next to his grave. Although it is on the hillside, for the convenience of offering incense and worship, the Huang family built a road leading up here.
As soon as I got out of the car, I began to look around. From Huang Baiwan's grandfather's grave, looking to the left, you can see the winding river, and to the right, the White Tiger mountain formation. The White Tiger mountain formation looks like a crouching tiger, and indeed, the Azure Dragon is winding, and the White Tiger is tamed.
Seeing me carefully observing the surrounding mountains, Huang Baiwan explained, "My hometown used to be here. My grandfather was a farmer in this area. By chance, he saved an old man, who was the master of Zu He. At that time, Zu He's master had nothing good to give my grandfather, so he found him such a place, telling him to bury him there after he died."
"After my grandfather died, he was buried here according to his wishes. After that, our family began to have everything go smoothly. My father, who was a farmer, became a businessman. Later, in my generation, the family developed even more, and for a time, we became the richest family in Xingzhou City."
Listening to Huang Baiwan's explanation, I nodded thoughtfully. With such feng shui, becoming the richest is only natural.
I didn't respond but focused my gaze on the few evergreen trees in front of the grave. The evergreen trees were already large and robust, but their leaves were withered, and their trunks were decaying, looking as if they were about to die.
Seeing me looking at the trees, Huang Baiwan continued, "These trees were planted when my grandfather was buried. They have lived for several decades and now look like they are about to die."
As he spoke, a hint of regret appeared on his face, as if he were seeing a good friend fall ill.
I shook my head and then asked Huang Baiwan, "Do you know why evergreen trees are planted in front of graves?"
Huang Baiwan shook his head and said, "I haven't heard my father mention this. Is it not for beautification?"
I shook my head and said, "Of course not. Trees are not planted in front of graves without a reason. Your grandfather's grave is in a feng shui treasure spot, which can be said to have changed your family's fate. Initially, your father might have had some issues with his lineage, and the evergreen trees represent the continuation of the lineage. After planting these two trees, your father should have had a son."
After hearing my words, Huang Baiwan nodded repeatedly and said, "Yes, yes, that's right. My father indeed had no son before my grandfather died. After my grandfather died, he had me, his only son."
The books are not wrong; this feng shui master must be very skilled.
"Feng shui can change fate. Your father was destined to have no sons, but he prayed for a son at your grandfather's grave! And you are destined to have many children, bringing blessings. These two evergreen trees are indeed very old, but they are far from dying. Evergreen trees can live for over a thousand years. The fact that they are withering and decaying after just a few decades indicates that the feng shui of the grave has been severely damaged."
I continued, "If I'm not mistaken, your family has been targeted by a feng shui curse! And this is a curse that will make your family extinct."
Hearing my words, Huang Baiwan was visibly shocked, and the few people who came with him were also stunned.
Huang Baiwan asked in disbelief, "How could that be? Our family has never offended anyone."
I don't know if they have offended anyone, but what I see is real. I pointed to the ground and said, "If you don't believe me, you can dig a few feet into the ground. There will be many insects underground. Just dig anywhere."
Hearing this, Huang Baiwan and the others were skeptical, but he ordered someone to take a hoe and start digging.
Soon, the person digging shouted, "Sir, there really is something! There are so many insects."
Hearing the servant's words, Huang Baiwan and the others quickly gathered around. As soon as they got close, Huang Yiyi screamed.
I quickly went to the hole and looked inside. I was startled. If I hadn't maintained my composure, I would have screamed like Huang Yiyi.
It was terrifying. The pit was full of insects: centipedes, millipedes, pill bugs, ants, snakes, and some fleshy, round creatures writhing and struggling in the dug-up soil. Someone with a fear of insects would probably go crazy at the sight.
"Ah!" Huang Baiwan was also stunned. Now, he had no doubt about me.
He said excitedly, "Mr. Li, this... this... please help us! You must help our family. Whatever you want, I will give it to you."
I waved my hand and said, "Since I'm here, I will naturally solve the problem. As for your reward, we can discuss it later. At 6 PM, we will dig up the grave and open the coffin! Go and prepare."
Hearing about digging up the grave and opening the coffin, Huang Baiwan's face changed, but he quickly recovered and nodded repeatedly, "Yes, yes, yes!"
On the way down the mountain, Huang Yiyi walked up to me and asked in a low voice, "Mr. Li, have we finished looking at our family's feng shui?"
I nodded and said, "Yes, we have."
"Then, don't you need a compass?"
A compass?
If it were for burying the dead, a compass would be needed. But for this kind of feng shui issue, a compass is not necessary.
I smiled bitterly and replied, "It can be used, but it's not necessary!"
Huang Yiyi didn't say anything more but looked at me with surprise.
At 6 PM, everything was ready! The people who would dig up the grave were also ready.
I checked the time; it was already 6 PM.
Everything so far has been exactly as described in the feng shui books I read. I hope nothing goes wrong when we open the coffin. I most hope that my first job goes smoothly.
"Alright, let's start!"
As I spoke, several tall and strong bodyguards rolled up their sleeves and started digging.
However, just as the hoe went down, a black Audi A6 suddenly drove up, and a voice shouted, "Stop! Don't dig!"
