This is a prison cell, dark and damp, with a musty smell permeating the air.

A figure sat cross-legged in the center of the darkness, his expression calm and serene, like a Buddha.

The cell contained nothing, not even a single person to speak to. Day after day, year after year, until death, many prisoners chose to take their own lives out of despair.

But this man was not despairing; he was waiting for an opportunity.

At that moment, the first rays of dawn rose, piercing through the palm-sized window in the wall and casting a hazy light into the cell. It was like a beam of holy light breaking through the darkness, enveloping him and turning his hair golden, warm and sacred, as if he were a Buddha in the process of nirvana.

Suddenly, the man opened his eyes, as if the Buddha had come back to life after achieving nirvana, and the dark cell seemed to brighten with him!

"Mealtime!" As expected, a cold voice came from outside the door, followed by a tray being pushed through the iron bars and placed on the floor.

The figure's lips curled slightly. The opportunity he had been waiting for had finally arrived!

He stood up and calmly walked out of the darkness, gradually revealing his full form. He was somewhat thin, not very old, and surprisingly still a teenager.

The teenager looked at the tray on the ground, which contained a bowl of white rice and a dish of green vegetables, simple and plain, but for a prisoner who had been hungry all night, it was a supreme delicacy. He picked up the bowl of rice and began to eat, taking small bites, each one slow and deliberate, as if savoring the taste of every grain of rice.

Outside the iron door, two guards watched the teenager intently, their batons at the ready, monitoring his every move as if he were a wild beast, even though the beast was currently caged.

After a long while, the teenager finally finished eating and handed the tray back. However, the dish of green vegetables remained untouched; he had only eaten the bowl of white rice.

Then, the teenager retreated back into the darkness, everything returning to its previous calm.

The two guards finally breathed a sigh of relief, quickly picking up the tray and leaving the place as if they couldn't bear to stay a moment longer.

The teenager walked back into the depths of the darkness and sat down cross-legged again. A strange smile suddenly appeared on his delicate face.

In the next moment, he made a gesture—placing his palm under his mouth, opening it, and gently spitting.

Instantly, a tiny grain of rice landed softly on his palm.

This grain of rice was so ordinary, indistinguishable from the thousands of others in the bowl of rice. It had passed through three machines and been monitored by five guards, and finally, under the watchful eyes of two guards, it had been eaten by the teenager, but he had kept it between his teeth, not swallowing it.

The taste of this grain of rice was slightly different. He hadn't eaten the dish of delicious vegetables to prevent the flavors from mixing.

This grain of rice was a glimmer of hope. Many people had worked together for a long time, implementing numerous plans, to finally get this grain of rice past the layers of security and into his hands.

The teenager picked up the grain of rice with his fingers and gently twisted it.

The grain of rice immediately broke apart, revealing a sesame-sized paper ball inside!

The teenager smiled slightly, his long fingers gently rubbing the paper ball, with a steady and even force, as if caressing a woman's sensitive area.

After a long time, the paper seemed to reach its climax, finally unfolding into a piece of paper smaller than a fingernail. The teenager took a deep breath and brought the paper to his eyes, focusing intently.

The paper had only one word written on it—“bird.”

The teenager's eyebrows furrowed, and he remained motionless in the darkness, like a wise man in deep thought, pondering the meaning of the word “bird.”

The word “bird” generally has two meanings: one refers to an animal, and the other refers to a part of an animal's body.

Coincidentally, the teenager had such a part. After much thought, he finally, with a mix of doubt, speculation, and hesitation, gently pulled down his pants and looked down.

In the darkness, his “bird” lay quietly, small and cute, with no signs of anything unusual.

The teenager pulled his pants back up, his eyebrows furrowing again as he thought carefully.

The word “bird” clearly did not refer to the body part; the only explanation was the animal.

“Puff, puff, puff!” At that moment, a faint sound came from the small window high up.

The sound was very soft, almost like the fluttering of a moth's wings. Without keen hearing, it would have been impossible to detect.

The teenager naturally heard it. He looked up at the small window.

On the small window, a tiny bird was flying in quickly, its long beak holding a small ring.

Seeing the small ring, the teenager was stunned, staring up motionless, his eyes gradually moistening.

No one knew how many sacrifices, how many meticulous plans, and how many cautious attempts it had taken to finally bring this little bird to his presence!

This prison is called Rose Prison, and it has another identity—the world's number one prison.

The teenager's name is Huang Yi, and he has another identity—the top criminal in Rose Prison.

Rose Prison houses all the high-intelligence criminals in the world, including super hackers, political tycoons, nuclear experts, financial giants, and top assassins. To contain these madmen, Rose Prison employs the world's most stringent security measures, strictly prohibiting any contact between the prisoners and the outside world!

Rose Prison is located on a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by endless seas. Patrol cruisers circle the island from ten nautical miles away, 24 hours a day, without interruption. The island itself is almost impossible to navigate, with guards every five steps and sentries every ten steps. No outsiders are allowed on the island, not even for visits. The only way to breach this layer is from the air!

The second layer of defense in Rose Prison is the metal detection zone. If any metal, even a piece as small as a fingernail, is detected in the air, it will be attacked by lasers, preventing any man-made flying objects from entering. The only way to breach this layer is through birds and insects!

The third layer of defense in Rose Prison is the bird net. The entire prison is surrounded by three layers of bird nets, which are ten times more dense than those at the new Charles de Gaulle Airport in France. The mesh is only five centimeters wide, allowing only small insects like moths, butterflies, and flies to enter!

Rose Prison itself is a perilous area. To prevent prisoners from escaping, various hidden mechanisms are set up throughout the prison, attacking any object that passes through. Only harmless small insects are allowed to enter and exit the prison!

Even insects are reluctant to fly into Rose Prison because the building materials used contain abundant amounts of realgar, a yellow mineral that is the natural enemy of insects and snakes!

In a sense, Huang Yi was in a state of complete isolation, and it was almost impossible for outsiders to contact him, let alone deliver an item to him!

But nature is wondrous, having given birth to countless unique creatures, including a particularly special bird—the hummingbird!

The hummingbird is the smallest of all hummingbirds, weighing only 2 grams, about the same as a moth. It is easily overlooked, even if detected, but it possesses many abilities that neither insects nor other birds have.

The hummingbird is the only bird that can hover and fly backward, allowing it to navigate the complex obstacles in Rose Prison.

More importantly, the hummingbird has the strongest memory among all birds and insects. After being trained, it can accurately find Huang Yi's cell among the thousands of cells in Rose Prison and deliver an item.

This is a masterpiece of nature and an angel in Huang Yi's eyes.

At that moment, the hummingbird, as if trained, released the small ring from its beak, letting it fall.

Huang Yi immediately extended his hand and caught the small ring steadily.

An item from the outside world had thus entered this isolated cell!

At this moment, a billion stories are unfolding in the world, and this is just one of them.

But this story has the power to change the world.
