【System Notification】: You have discovered the Hero Prison, Experience +100

Huang Yi turned to look at the surroundings. This was a huge stone chamber similar to a torture room, with a flickering magic lamp hanging overhead. The walls around were made of massive stones, each several meters high. These stones were stained with blood and hung with various large torture instruments, such as iron hooks, ropes, and spikes. Some of these instruments were still covered with bits of flesh, and flies buzzed around, greedily feeding on the blood. The air was filled with a heavy stench of decay.

The only path in the entire stone chamber was a corridor on the left, leading underground, its depth indiscernible, shrouded in endless darkness. From the depths of that darkness, faint roars could be heard, making the entire stone chamber seem incredibly eerie and terrifying.

Huang Yi carefully examined the surroundings and soon noticed a line of small text on one of the stone walls—

Hero Prison, established by the Grim Reaper in ancient times, houses criminals captured by the Grim Reaper's Hall during the five eras: Ancient, Primeval, Prehistoric, Ancient, and Recent. It has a long history and is renowned among the gods.

From this brief introduction, it was clear that the Hero Prison was no ordinary place. The criminals inside were associated with the Grim Reaper, indicating that they were extremely powerful. Huang Yi was just a level 1 novice, and it was impossible for him to kill these criminals with his current strength. He would have to find another way to complete his tasks.

Huang Yi examined himself. He was wearing ordinary clothes and had no weapons, only a ring on his right index finger.

He touched the ring and immediately sensed a small space inside, indicating that it was a storage ring for holding items. However, it was currently empty.

At that moment, a solemn voice echoed through the air:

【System Announcement】: Chinese player [Blade] has completed the first class change, earning 1000 public reputation points and the [Unique Achievement]—[First to Class Change], adding 1 to China's national honor value.

Now, the player with the fastest progress had already completed their first class change, while Huang Yi had just entered this place, far behind others. However, he was not concerned. He could catch up in terms of level later. His most pressing task was to complete the rare quest, contact Mr. Huangsha, and strive for freedom.

He turned to look at the dark, deep corridor and walked over.

"Shh, shh, shh" Huang Yi's footsteps echoed in the dark corridor, spreading to an unknown distance, toward the cells that had existed since ancient times. Roars occasionally sounded from the darkness, as if some powerful beings were venting their frustrations, creating a suffocating atmosphere in the Hero Prison.

Huang Yi remained vigilant, but the light was too dim to see the details clearly. He could only occasionally notice bats flying overhead and snakes and rats crawling by, adding to the eerie and terrifying atmosphere.

After walking for a few minutes, light finally appeared ahead, and magic lamps gradually appeared on the walls of the corridor. The situation in the corridor also changed, with large cells appearing on both sides, each several dozen meters high. These cells were tightly sealed with massive iron doors, covered in dust and spider webs, leaving only a half-meter-wide gap.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" At this moment, a rhythmic sound came from one of the cells, as if the wind was blowing.

Huang Yi slowed his steps and peered through the gap in the cell door. The cell was very dark, and he could only faintly see a wall covered in fur, but the wall was moving rhythmically, as if it were alive!

Huang Yi took a few steps closer and realized that it was not a wall at all, but a leg! The leg was so large that it looked like a wall!

Huang Yi looked up along the giant leg and saw a massive shadow in the dark cell, towering several dozen meters high. It had a fierce, horned head, bound by massive chains. The shadow seemed to be sleeping, its massive body rising and falling rhythmically, emitting a faint snore that sounded like a gust of wind, exuding an unparalleled sense of oppression.

An iron plate was embedded in the iron door of the cell, with a brief description of the criminal inside:

Werewolf Bainholer (Level 128, ID 8723)

A powerful being from the Recent Era, notorious for slaying thirteen bone dragons of the Grim Reaper's Hall's Eighth Marshal Urs during the Chaos War. He was captured and imprisoned for life due to his heinous crimes.

At that moment, the creature seemed to sense Huang Yi's presence and suddenly opened its eyes. A cold light flashed through the dungeon, and its eyes glowed green, staring at Huang Yi with a sinister gaze, sending chills down his spine.

A few rats and snakes were startled and quickly crawled out of the gap, scattering in all directions. One snake moved a bit slower, and the shadow swiftly extended a long tongue like a whip, snatching the snake and chewing it slowly, making a bone-chilling sound.

Seeing this bloodthirsty scene, Huang Yi gained a deeper understanding of the Hero Prison. Even a random criminal was so bloodthirsty, and the prison housed countless other monsters. The difficulty of completing tasks here was unimaginable.

Huang Yi continued walking, looking at the descriptions of the other criminals...

Doomsday Messenger Lucifer (Level 172, ID 2780)

A powerful being from the Ancient Era, known for bringing the Doomsday Flame. He was captured and imprisoned for life for burning to death thirty-five Hell Messengers of the Grim Reaper's Hall.

Bounty Hunter Gangfeng (Level 143, ID 7221)

One of the ten great demon hunters from the Ancient Era, captured and imprisoned for life for illegally hunting thirty-three Hell Hounds raised by the Fifth Elder of the Grim Reaper's Hall.

Lava Giant Morpheus (Level 155, ID 4750)

One of the five great stone giants from the Recent Era, captured and imprisoned for life for sneaking into the Grim Reaper's Hall's back garden to steal the Soul of the Undead.

Void Walker Kassadin (Level 154, ID 4770)

A powerful being from the Recent Era, originating from an unknown void, captured and imprisoned for life for strangling three Undead Guards of the Grim Reaper's Hall.

...

The entire journey was filled with huge cells, each housing a massive monster. The details were unclear, but the outlines were menacing, sending chills down one's spine. These monsters were all powerful beings, with the weakest being over level 100, and they had all offended the Grim Reaper's Hall.

The Grim Reaper's Hall, as the name suggests, was a force under the Grim Reaper. As a renowned deity, the Grim Reaper's influence was significant. Some of these criminals were imprisoned for minor offenses against the Grim Reaper's Hall, enduring endless torment in the dark.

However, after reading the descriptions of so many criminals, Huang Yi did not see any who had directly offended the Grim Reaper himself. Their strength was likely too weak to reach that level.

Huang Yi walked for a long time. The Hero Prison was vast, with many paths and corridors, like a giant maze. He walked for a long time without finding a way out and eventually lost his direction.

As he walked, suddenly, Huang Yi stopped, staring at the description plate on the cell ahead.
