Although the location of Hogwarts is protected by magic to prevent others from knowing, almost all wizards know that Hogwarts is near Hogsmeade, as the Hogwarts Express stops there.
Finni, having figured it out, looked at Dumbledore somewhat embarrassed, opening his mouth to say something.
However, Dumbledore waved his hand. Since Finni had lost almost all of his relatives at the age of three, it was quite normal for him not to understand these things. Therefore, he did not mind and smiled, saying,
"Alright, then I will be waiting for you at Hogwarts."
Finni nodded and snapped his fingers.
Kreacher appeared by his side.
"Kreacher, bring me the candies I prepared."
"Yes, Master."
Kreacher nodded and brought over a large bag of candies.
Finni took it and handed it to Dumbledore.
"Here, Cockroach Clusters, one of your favorite candies. I specially acquired the company that produces these candies and developed a new variety for you to try."
Dumbledore was taken aback, took the package, and asked,
"You acquired the company?"
Finni nodded and said,
"Yes, because I was curious about the taste of the candies you like, I bought some to try. It turned out to be just chocolate, which made me a bit disappointed. So, I bought the company and had them produce according to my ideas."
Actually, Finni didn't really have any ideas; it was just because Dumbledore liked these candies.
Finni was very clear about his current situation in the entire wizarding world. The elders of the Black family didn't care about the survival of the family; they just needed someone to handle the daily offerings and ensure the family still existed.
Moreover, the pure-blood families didn't want to take over the entire Black family; they just wanted to divide the Black family's assets, leaving Finni a smaller shop to live on.
Especially in recent years, the Lestrange family, part of the Wizengamot, had designs on the Black family.
Even if Finni had hidden himself and the house, the Black family's assets could not be hidden. They were all under varying degrees of attack. It was only because the Black family had substantial resources that they managed to hold on.
This year, Finni was eleven, meaning he could no longer hide in the house. Therefore, it was necessary to curry favor with a powerful wizard, especially someone as famous as Dumbledore.
As long as he showed his hatred for Voldemort and was willing to stand with Dumbledore, he could be more casual in his daily life. That's why Finni made this choice.
Upon hearing that the candies were new, Dumbledore immediately took one and put it in his mouth.
The Cockroach Clusters lived up to their name, shaped like cockroaches and enchanted to move like real ones.
The original Cockroach Clusters were a type of filled chocolate. After Finni acquired the company, he developed several other flavors.
For example, he added a layer of coffee powder to the original chocolate, creating a sweet and bitter taste that left a lasting impression.
Another example was the one Dumbledore was eating, with a hard candy shell coated in chocolate powder and a filling of fruit juice mixed with honey, making the fruit flavor more intense and the sweetness of the honey different from ordinary candies.
At least after producing these candies, Finni himself also fell in love with them. Of course, one had to overlook their appearance, as few people could bring themselves to put a cockroach in their mouth.
"The taste is excellent, thank you for the candies."
After carefully tasting the new Cockroach Clusters, Dumbledore closed his eyes and said to Finni,
"I'll order some first. I can do it here, right? I won't write to the candy company."
Finni waved his hand and said,
"No need, Professor. I've already instructed the company to send a certain portion of each batch directly to you, so you don't need to order."
Upon hearing this, Dumbledore's eyes became sharp, staring at Finni's eyes as if trying to see something.
Finni knew that Dumbledore was likely using Legilimency on him, but he didn't care. Although the Strongest Wizard System was not yet fully activated, it could still protect some of his secrets, such as the existence of the system and his past life's memories.
A moment later, Dumbledore looked at Finni with a complex expression and turned to leave.
The moment Dumbledore left, a voice from the system echoed in Finni's mind,
"Ding, system activation in progress. Personal panel activated, mission system activated, college treasure chest interface activated, library interface activated, store interface activated."
Finni followed the instructions and began to check the various interfaces of the system.
First was the personal panel:
Name: Phineas Nigellus Black
House: None
Enrollment Date: September 1, 1989
Health: 2490 (normal human: 2000)
Magic: 200 (same-age young wizard: 100)
Luck: ***
Exploration Attribute: 0%
(The first panel is written in the main text, and subsequent ones will be placed in the author's notes. Please rest assured, I won't use this to pad the word count. Actually, the panel's usefulness is limited; it's just a data representation of the system.)
Next was the mission system. Finni found that this interface currently had only one mission: to enter Hogwarts on September 1 and participate in the Sorting Ceremony to join a house. The reward was a library pass.
The college treasure chest interface was activated, but since Finni had not yet joined a house, there were no treasure chests, and no specific conditions for opening them were provided. It seemed he would have to wait until he was officially enrolled to understand the function of this interface.
Finally, the library interface.
In Finn's view, this was the most important and core part of the entire system, as it worked in conjunction with the magic book interface. The library pass was used to draw magic here.
However, this interface was currently empty and required Finn to bind a real book or a real library to draw magic. A library pass could draw three spells, ensuring that the three spells drawn in one session would not be the same, but not guaranteeing that they would be different from other spells.
In simple terms, if two passes were used, it was possible to draw three spells, each twice, or six completely different spells.
Whether binding a magic book or a library, it had to be real and could only be done once, at least for now.
