### Holy Idol - Chapter 4 (4/902)
4. Conducting an Interview
After hanging up the phone, Jong-woo exclaimed in disbelief.
"Didn't you say to let the kid rest?"
Im, the representative, replied shamelessly.
"He can rest after the interview, can't he?"
"......"
Jong-woo pursed his lips.
Though he said that, will he really let the kid rest after the interview?
No. When the tide is high, one should row hard. He probably plans to keep the kids busy with some noise marketing!

At that moment,
Remberi was sitting obediently in the place where Jong-woo had instructed her to stay.
As she sat there, the young men who had been on stage earlier entered the room.
"There you are."
The young men seemed to have deliberately come looking for Remberi.
When Remberi saw them, she exclaimed in surprise.
"Oh."
She had been so startled a few hours ago that she hadn't noticed it then.
These young men all had different hair colors.
One had brown hair, another black, another pink, and another yellow.
Remberi glanced at the mirror on the wall.
The young man named 'Uyeonwoo' who had brought her in had white hair.
It seemed that these five were known as "Wild Animal"...
The fact that they all had different hair colors was strange.
As she thought this, the young man with black hair approached and spoke to her.
"I didn't hear everything, but I heard that you lost your memory."
When Remberi blinked, the young man with brown hair clicked his tongue.
"Is he doing that on purpose again?"
"Taehyun."
"Ah, whatever. He does that often."
The young man with black hair gave the brown-haired one a look and then pointed to the others, introducing them one by one.
"That's Taehyun. He's our group's lead vocalist. The one with pink hair is Hyejeol. He's the youngest and the dance specialist, but he has a sharp tongue. If he swears at you, just think of him as always like that."
"What's that supposed to mean, leader?"
"That's just how he is. The one with yellow hair is Kashi. He's the main vocalist. And I'm Jungseo. I'm the leader of our group."
The black-haired man, who introduced himself as Jungseo, looked at Remberi to see if she understood.
"If you have more questions, feel free to ask."
"What exactly is 'Wild Animal'?"
"It's our group's name. We five are the group members. And there's that guy with glasses, right?"
"Jong-woo?"
"Ah, you know Jong-woo's name. Yeah, he's our manager."
"You keep calling them idols. What are idols?"
"Ah, well... they dance and sing? They're singers."
"Ah. Singers."
Singers who dance and sing existed in the place where Remberi lived as well.
Remberi quickly understood.
The black-haired leader scratched his head awkwardly and smiled.
"It's a bit trivial, but it feels strange to teach you all this."
"If I have more questions, can I ask you in the future?"
"Ah, yeah. Sure, but..."
"Why? Can't I?"
"Um, maybe you should change your tone of speech."
"Tone of speech?"
The young man with yellow hair, Kashi, chuckled and interjected.
"You sound really pretentious."
The young man named 'Hyejeol' kicked Kashi's ankle and laughed.
"You're not much better, you know?"
Remberi muttered to herself, touching her throat.
"Ah. My tone of speech."
It seemed that in this world, one had to use a more casual tone of speech.
Remberi thought for a moment.
That tone... that casual tone...
To speak so casually when she had a refined tone of speech?
She didn't like it.
Moreover, her refined tone of speech was intentionally used from the perspective of a high priest representing a deity.
To change her tone of speech just because it sounded pretentious...
"It will become familiar if you listen to it."
In the end, Remberi politely declined, and the leader looked at her in disbelief.
"......Do I have to listen to it until I get used to it?"
Just as he was about to say more, the door opened, and Jong-woo, the manager, entered and called out to Remberi.
"Yeonwoo. Uyeonwoo. Come here. It's about the schedule."
At the mention of the schedule, the young men who were gathered around looked at him simultaneously.
"What's going on?"
Jong-woo had called out to Remberi, but the pink-haired Hyejeol asked the question.
Jong-woo smiled and patted Remberi's shoulder.
"He's going to do an interview. Right now."
The black-haired leader, Jungseo, opened his eyes wide.
"An interview? Where?"
"O'sora."
Although he didn't know where it was, the members all made a fuss, exclaiming "Wow, wow, wow."
Remberi was the only one standing there, bewildered.
Jong-woo patted the young men's shoulders one by one, his eyes shining.
"If Yeonwoo does well in the interview, our group can rise. You know? If we select one member well, the whole group can survive."
"Okay."
"Do well and come back."
"That sounds great."
"Talk a lot about the group."
The young men patted Remberi's shoulder one by one, looking bewildered.
* * *
While riding in the carriage, Remberi could learn what "O'sora" was.
"It's an internet magazine."
"What is the internet?"
"It's hard to explain in words, so I'll show you later. Anyway, it's an internet magazine, but to be honest, it's not very high-end."
"?"
"But the photographer there is amazing. Amazing."
Jong-woo showed Remberi his thumb.
"Is he good at it?"
"Yeah. He takes incredible photos. It's called an interview photo shoot, but it's just a few photos taken during the interview. But he makes them look like real fashion photos."
"What are fashion photos?"
"......I'll explain that later when you see them. Anyway, he's famous among fans."
"What are fans?"
Jong-woo seemed a bit annoyed by Remberi's barrage of questions but eventually explained the concepts of the internet, fashion photos, and fans as best he could.
"Ah......"
Remberi was still confused but nodded.
According to Jong-woo, if you search the internet, all kinds of information will come up.
Since it seemed that asking too many questions would bother everyone, it would be better to go there and see for herself.
"Got it?"
"A little."
"Anyway, O'sora usually doesn't do interviews with unknown idols from small agencies or new idols."
"Um."
"This is an opportunity. As the kids said, if you can make a big splash with the interview, Wild Animal might rise."
Remberi, though uncomfortable, nodded.
She had done interviews before when she was a high priest.
Thousands of believers would come to hear her words every day.
Since she couldn't talk to everyone, she would regularly answer questions through newspapers and magazines.
"I'm good at that. You can relax."
As Remberi confidently thought this, Jong-woo, suddenly feeling uneasy, gave her a list of expected questions and the correct answers.
"Are the questions given in advance?"
"Most interviews give them in advance. Usually, they call and do the interview right away, so they give you a few days to prepare your answers. But this time is a bit special."
"Is that so?"
"O'sora sent a few interview questions by email just now. Oh, but O'sora always throws in surprise questions."
"Surprise questions?"
"Yeah. If you get a difficult question, just don't answer it. Got it?"
"Got it."

The carriage stopped in front of a strangely shaped building.
However, it wasn't as large as the shop, broadcasting station, or agency she had visited before.
Moreover, the sign had a funny drawing, and flames were coming out of the drawing.
Remberi, intrigued, looked up at the sign, but Jong-woo urged her to go inside.
Jong-woo and Remberi went to the second floor of the building, where a man and a woman were already seated.
The man was holding an unidentified strange object, and the woman was sitting with a pen and paper.
"Ah, come in."
As Remberi and Jong-woo approached, the woman smiled broadly, stood up, put down her pen, and extended her hand.
"Hello, I'm Oh Hye-tae."
The man bowed with the strange object in his hand.
"I'm Seol Young-su."
"Please sit over here."
The woman, who introduced herself as Oh Hye-tae, pointed to the chair opposite Remberi and asked,
"What would you like to drink?"
"What should I drink?"
"Huh?"
Jong-woo, who had been anxiously watching Remberi, quickly answered,
"Does he drink coffee? Our Yeonwoo, coffee?"
He then hurriedly went to the counter to get coffee.
Oh Hye-tae, who had been momentarily confused by Jong-woo's behavior, burst into laughter.
"Everyone is so interesting."
It seemed she thought Jong-woo and Remberi were joking around.
Since there was no need to explain, Remberi remained silent, and Oh Hye-tae, holding a notebook in one hand, tapped the back of a strange pen on the table and laughed.
"I was surprised to see the broadcast."
"Broadcast?"
What was a broadcast?
Remberi was confused but remained silent.
While riding in the carriage, Jong-woo had told her to try to hide the fact that she had lost her memory.
Oh Hye-tae, seeing that Remberi didn't say anything, laughed awkwardly and asked,
"You've been trending on real-time search since yesterday. Did you know?"
"Trending?"
"I see you haven't checked yet."
"?"
"Right now, Uyeonwoo is a hot topic. Did you know?"
"I don't know. But it's not something I care much about."
"Really? That's impressive. You're an idol, you know?"
"People always pay attention to me. It's not something that happens in a day or two. Why would I be tied to that?"
"?"
Oh Hye-tae, looking bewildered, blinked and then laughed again, asking,
"You're interesting. Is that tone of speech part of your concept?"
"?"
The conversation wasn't going well.
Remberi, now looking bewildered, didn't understand.
While the conversation was breaking down, Seol Young-su kept pressing something he was holding.
Each time, a "pop" sound was heard, which initially startled Remberi, but she soon ignored it.
Fortunately, the awkward atmosphere was diluted when Jong-woo, who had gone to get coffee, arrived.
Jong-woo placed the coffee in front of Oh Hye-tae and Seol Young-su and gave Remberi a cup as well.
However, he himself held a coffee cup and stood nearby, not sitting down.
Before Remberi could ask why he wasn't sitting, Oh Hye-tae asked again,
"Back then. Yesterday. Why didn't you dance on stage?"
This was one of the expected questions Jong-woo had given her.
"I wasn't feeling well."
"Before the stage started, you shouted, 'I don't know how to dance!' Why did you shout that? Right now, that statement is a hot topic on SNS and community sites. Give us the real answer."
This was also an expected question, so Remberi answered as Jong-woo had instructed.
"I was asked if I knew the dance of the famous idol NNC and said I didn't."
Oh Hye-tae laughed, as if saying, "What a lie."
"0.5 seconds before the song started, you were asked that question?"
"Yes."
Oh Hye-tae nodded and tapped her notebook with her pen, frowning.
Jong-woo watched her closely, sensing that she wasn't satisfied with the interview.
"Lying too much isn't good."
When Oh Hye-tae muttered this, Jong-woo's face turned pale.
In fact, Oh Hye-tae was thinking, "The song is good, the choreography is good, and the appearance is good, but there must be a reason why he hasn't become famous."
Some people could capture attention with the same answer.
Oh Hye-tae considered this star quality.
However, Uyeonwoo's answer, though not incorrect, was too obviously a lie.
If you're going to lie, you should make it convincing or humorous.
If such a statement were published in the interview, the reaction would be predictable.
In the end, Oh Hye-tae, thinking, "Let's just get it over with," tapped her notebook with her pen and asked a weak question.
"Do you get along well with the other members?"
"No."
"!"
