After calling Chu Zhao, Su Bai directly asked Liu He, "Do you still remember where Chen Chu's rental house is?"

Liu He seemed to sense that something was wrong and hesitated for a moment, but under Su Bai's gaze, he still nodded, "I know. I helped him move in last time."

Su Bai was indeed a bit introverted, so when Chen Chu moved out, he only told Su Bai, who just nodded. Chen Chu didn't even have the heart to ask Su Bai to help with the move.

"Get up, something must have happened to Chen Chu."

"What happened?" Liu He hurriedly started to get dressed, panicking.

Su Bai frowned, picked up his phone, flipped through his contacts, and finally found Chen Chu's number. He immediately called:

"Sorry, the number you dialed is currently off. Please try again later..."

It was off;

Su Bai blew out a breath. Normally, a young person's phone is rarely turned off. Combined with the previous speculation, it seemed that Chen Chu was indeed in serious trouble. It was unclear what had happened to Chen Chu—whether he had been cooked and cut into thousands of pieces and scattered around the campus like his girlfriend, or if he had met some other fate.

After Liu He was dressed, Su Bai ran out of the dormitory building with him. Outside the dormitory, a team of police had already arrived, and it seemed to be a high-level team. Chu Zhao was also among them.

Seeing Su Bai, Chu Zhao immediately pointed and said, "It's him, his name is Su Bai. He provided the identity of the deceased and other information."

This scene made Su Bai feel a bit uncomfortable, as if Chu Zhao was shouting, "It's him, his name is Su Bai, he has already killed several people in the club."

Fortunately, although the club was loosely managed and the four members were free, each of them came from a good family and had a bright future, so they wouldn't resort to such a desperate situation. Moreover, everyone was involved in each incident to some extent, so no one's hands were clean.

A police officer with a somewhat weathered face walked over and stared at Su Bai, "Your point is that the deceased had a cohabiting boyfriend, and they lived off-campus?"

"Yes, the deceased's cohabiting boyfriend was my former roommate. The empty bed in my dormitory is his. He shouldn't be the murderer; he doesn't have the capability to do such a thing, and he hasn't come to school for three days."

"How did you recognize the deceased?" the weathered police officer asked again.

"Director Wang, he and I found the head together, so he saw it," Chu Zhao interjected.

Director Wang nodded, and his attitude towards Chu Zhao seemed particularly friendly. It seemed that although Chu Zhao was often lackadaisical at work, his family connections were strong, and only his brother-in-law dared to discipline him.

"Xiao Sun, you take a team to check their rental house. I will stay here to organize the search for the body."

"Yes!"

Captain Sun immediately nodded and then asked Su Bai, "Do you know where their rental house is?"

"Yes, I can take you there."

"Good, you, you, you, and you, come with me." Captain Sun finally pointed at Chu Zhao.

A group of about seven or eight people immediately left the school in two police cars. This trip was just to investigate the situation. If something had indeed happened in the rental house, more personnel and specialists would be dispatched.

In the car, Su Bai and Chu Zhao sat together. Su Bai quietly asked, "Did the surveillance footage show anything?"

Logically, if the murderer dared to dispose of the body on campus and not just one or two pieces, but hundreds, which could be found in many places like the flower beds, classrooms, and toilets, how could such a large-scale and frequent disposal not leave any clues on the surveillance cameras?

Chu Zhao sighed and smiled, "It's like a ghost. A team was already assigned to check the surveillance, but nothing unusual happened. The bodies were clearly disposed of within 24 hours, or even less, but there was nothing abnormal in the surveillance. Even in one of the study rooms, no one entered from yesterday to today, but two pieces of flesh were found inside."

Hearing this, Su Bai suddenly fell silent. If the surveillance cameras didn't capture any clues, the situation was indeed too bizarre.

Suddenly, Su Bai remembered his experience from yesterday and couldn't help but look at the car's radio, but fortunately, that voice didn't appear again.

Now, Su Bai felt a deep fear of the radio, a kind of instinctive human fear of the unknown and the supernatural.

The car stopped outside a residential area near the school. It was an old neighborhood, clearly very dilapidated. However, for college student couples, the living conditions here were much better than in the dormitories.

With Liu He leading the way, everyone quickly arrived at a building unit on the second floor.

"Knock, knock, knock!"

Captain Sun knocked on the door, but no one answered after a long time.

Su Bai stood next to the door, blocking his nose. He smelled a strong血腥味.

At this moment, Captain Sun's gaze suddenly turned to Su Bai, and he sniffed with his nose, seemingly understanding something. His look at Su Bai changed.

Su Bai's expression remained unchanged, and he said directly, "There's a smell of fresh blood. My nose is very sensitive, I can't be wrong."

Rather than be suspected, it was better to speak openly.

Seeing Su Bai speak so openly, the suspicion on Captain Sun's face immediately disappeared. He nodded, took two steps back, and then charged forward, kicking the door open with one foot.

"Ugh......"

Almost everyone present bent over and started to retch, even Captain Sun, the experienced detective, was no exception. Kicking the door open was like flipping the lid of a garbage can, and the smell and contents inside were revealed all at once.

This was a small apartment, only 60 square meters, with two bedrooms and a living room. The living room was almost negligible, with a table that required walking sideways to pass.

In this small living room, there was a chair, and on the chair sat a young man. The man's limbs were nailed to the chair with long nails, and his entire chest and abdomen had been hollowed out, filled with something, making it bulge.

"Protect the scene, don't go in randomly. Call for backup and inform headquarters that a second crime scene has been discovered."

Captain Sun forced himself to suppress his nausea and gave the order.

"Yes."

A police officer, as if relieved, hurriedly ran down the stairs to make the call.

Su Bai and Chu Zhao recovered quickly. Although the smell was terrible and the scene was grotesque, it wasn't too special. After the initial shock, they could examine the details more closely.

"What's bulging in that guy's stomach? Pillows? Cotton?" Chu Zhao asked in confusion.

Su Bai pointed to the boxes on the floor and said, "If I'm not mistaken, it's probably water-filled condoms."
