"Welcome to Thrill Park." The voice this time sounded like that of a middle-aged man, and it was somewhat slurred.

What Feng Buju saw next was a first-person perspective real-time CG movie, reminiscent of the opening scenes of Call of Duty.

The camera showed him "descending" through the air, but he was not wearing military gear; he was still in the game's default black long-sleeved T-shirt and pants. The sky was clear, with blue skies and white clouds.

The camera then panned down, revealing a modern city with tall buildings.

The system voice, accompanied by subtitles, began: "You are a member of a search and rescue team, tasked with finding Dr. Ashford, an employee of Allerbmu Corporation. However, due to a malfunction of the aircraft, you and your five teammates have unfortunately lost all communication devices and heavy weapons during the parachute jump and have been scattered throughout the city."

"What is Allerbmu... Isn't it just 'Umbrella' spelled backwards?" Feng Buju said as he read the subtitles appearing before him. "Is the city name just the English name of Raccoon City spelled backwards and then phonetically translated?"

【An unknown virus is ravaging the city of Nooccar.】

"Hey... They really did it!"

【This extremely biohazardous virus is designated 'Z.' Its four most significant characteristics are: 100% infectivity, 100% lethality, transmission through exposed mucous membranes and all bodily fluids, and inability to spread through the air or water.】

"Damn! Just say T-virus and be done with it. What's with this 'Z'? Who can't see through this script's gimmick?"

【All infected individuals have turned into... vampire werewolf zombies.】

"Eh?" Feng Buju suddenly froze, a rather unpleasant image flashing through his mind...

【These monsters have the basic abilities and habits of ordinary zombies but also possess some characteristics of werewolves and vampires, known as... blood wolf zombies.】

"Huh?"

【Silver can burn the bodies of blood wolf zombies, and the smell of garlic mixed with saliva can deter them. They have extremely low mobility and intelligence, and can be killed by decapitation or smashing their brains.】

"Isn't this weaker than ordinary zombies? What's the point of this setting!"

【Blood wolf zombies strongly dislike sunlight, but it does not cause them substantial harm. They have a strong sense of smell and react to sound and light. Their desire to eat meat is unrelated to their digestive system, and even if they lose their jaw, esophagus, stomach, and other related organs, they will continue to try to tear apart and eat their prey. All living humans are their targets.】

This opening CG and narration were relatively long, possibly due to the time it took to descend from the air. After the summary ended, the final scene showed Feng Buju landing on the rooftop of a street-side shop.

A second later, Feng Buju's vision merged with the scene, officially loading into the game. He was not carrying a parachute or anything similar, which seemed to have been removed by the system, saving him the trouble of unpacking it.

The prompt 【Main quest triggered】 immediately sounded.

This time, the six players were scattered across the map before the script began, a situation Feng Buju had never encountered before. He opened the menu and first checked the main quest: 【Enter and search the Allerbmu Corporation building to find Dr. Ashford.】

Next, he looked at the team list, which showed five names: 【Wang Tan Zhi】【Wushuang Shangjiang Pan Feng】【Qianrenzhan Hua Xiong】【Taking a Name is Really Hard】【Jibu Shaozhu】

Feng Buju thought to himself, "Pan Feng and Hua Xiong are on the same team... Come to think of it, it seems all the players in this script are male."

"Ah—" Suddenly, a muffled groan sounded behind Feng Buju.

Feng Buju turned around and saw a... or rather, a blood wolf zombie, limping toward him.

The creature's appearance was roughly as follows: It was covered in fur, except for its hands and face, which were hairless and very pale. Its face was human-like, with vampire-like fangs in its mouth. It also had the typical zombie features, such as gruesome wounds and rotting limbs.

The monster moved very slowly, possibly due to the sunlight slowing it down even more. It was also foolish enough to make meaningless groans that revealed its position.

Feng Buju stared at the creature for a few seconds with a forty-five-degree downward gaze, then walked around it in a half-circle and moved behind it...

The monster, limping, slowly turned around to face Feng Buju again, groaned, and approached him.

"So slow..." Feng Buju didn't even bother to take a weapon from his backpack. He was too lazy to kill the monster and simply walked straight toward the door leading off the rooftop.

The blood wolf zombie continued to approach him, but its movement speed was even slower than Feng Buju's normal walking speed.

Feng Buju opened the rooftop door, which led to a staircase going down. Although he had some contempt for the strength of the monsters in this script, he still cautiously checked the area behind the door before entering. As he left, he didn't forget to close the door...

He walked down the stairs to the ground floor, which was a regular small restaurant. The kitchen was opposite the bar, and there were tables and chairs along the street-side windows. There were also some seats at the bar. A few tables still had leftover food, such as sandwiches, fries, and bacon and eggs, which had now become a feast for flies.

As Feng Buju looked around, he heard another groan.

"Ugh—" There was another blood wolf zombie inside the bar, its upper body leaning on the oven, and its lower body already eaten away, with its intestines spilling onto the floor. Seeing Feng Buju nearby, the monster raised its arm and made a few sounds, as if saying, "Come to me."

Feng Buju ignored it and looked out the window at the street. Within his line of sight, there were a few blood wolf zombies wandering around, but they were all hiding in the shadows of buildings and moving extremely slowly.

"Hmm... Doesn't seem very dangerous. Let's do an experiment." He took out a pipe wrench, entered the storage room, and two minutes later, came out with a basket of garlic.

Feng Buju placed the basket on the bar, took out a garlic clove, put away the pipe wrench, and took out a kitchen knife. He cut a bit of the garlic skin, picked a clove, and chewed it.

In Thrill Park, eating can simulate the taste of real food almost perfectly, and eating too much can also create a feeling of fullness. However, in reality, the player's stomach would not actually contain any food. Both the taste and the feeling of fullness were illusions created by the neural connection system.

After the pungent taste bloomed on his tongue, Feng Buju circled around to the back of the bar, approaching the blood wolf zombie on the ground. The zombie's arm had dropped, seemingly losing its appetite, indicating that the smell of garlic was indeed effective.

Feng Buju leaned in, stretching his neck, and from about a meter away, he exhaled, "Hah—"

The monster actually began to crawl on the ground, trying to get away from Feng Buju.

"Ha ha... This script is heaven." Feng Buju's face lit up with excitement. He had decided to grind to his heart's content in this city.
