When I told Geunchul that it might be due to your subjective perspective, he responded that he could confirm it, so he asked us to come to the church on Sunday. And to Seokhoon, I said that we shouldn't think it's definitely not true, as what Geunchul said might be true.

As a result, things took a strange turn. In the end, Seokhoon and I ended up going to the church to verify whether what Geunchul said was true.

Sunday morning…..

"I can't believe I'm at church on a Sunday…."

Seokhoon looked at the church building with a gloomy expression.

"Let's at least see what kind of guy that church brother is, as Geunchul said."

"Hmm… What if that guy is really like what Geunchul said? What are you going to do?"

"If it's true… we need to eliminate the obstacle."

After spending the time according to the Sunday service schedule, we went to where the youth group met.

The church that Jisook and Geunchul attended was quite large, with many tall buildings in addition to the main building. We gathered in a spacious meeting room with a few college students who were in charge of the youth group.

One of the college students leading the youth group was the guy Geunchul talked about. At first glance, he looked very good. He had kind eyes, large eyes without double eyelids, a straight nose, and a well-defined jawline, making him look like a rich man's son. Moreover, he attended one of the prestigious universities, so he must have been very popular with girls. If Jisook were to compete with that guy, Geunchul would probably be out before he even started.

However, according to Geunchul, Jisook was dating that guy. The only reason Seokhoon and I are doing this is because of the fear in Jisook's eyes.

After singing a few hymns to the accompaniment of that guy's guitar, he stood up and said,

"I hear there are new students here today. This place might feel unfamiliar, but if you come often and mingle, you'll get used to it soon. I'm Jang Hahoon, currently attending Korea University. I'm in charge of the high school third-year class in the youth group because I know how tough it can be. I was in your position two years ago. But time flies. I'm already a sophomore in college. I'd like to hear the voices of the new friends, so please stand up."

He pointed at us.

"I'm Im Seokhoon, a third-year student at Jinmyeong High School."

Seokhoon briefly introduced himself and sat down.

"Wow, that was very concise. Don't you have anything else to say?"

Seokhoon shook his head instead of answering.

"I'm Jung Minwoo, a student at Taejong High School."

The guy tried to ask us more questions, but I sat down with a firm expression.

After that, we had a strange time where the seniors honestly shared the difficulties of being in the third year of high school and gave advice. Seokhoon and I, of course, refused. The guy said that it was normal to be shy the first time and encouraged us to participate more actively next time, but I inwardly cursed.

Seokhoon's expression was no different from mine.

When all the activities were over, the gathered students moved busily to somewhere.

"Is it over now?"

Geunchul nodded. However, his gaze was directed at the college student, Jang Hahoon, and Jisook. They headed towards the elevator inside the building, and when the elevator door opened, Jang Hahoon got in first, followed by Jisook.

As soon as the elevator door closed, Geunchul started running. When he reached the elevator, he checked the floor they went to and ran up the stairs.

"What is that guy up to?"

Seokhoon said, checking the floor the elevator stopped at.

"I don't know… Let's go up and see."

Jang Hahoon and Jisook went to the fifth floor.

We, of course, waited for the elevator and took it up.

When we arrived on the fifth floor, we saw a small auditorium, and on the opposite side, the building's rooftop, from which the outside view could be seen. The rooftop was piled with old desks and chairs, suggesting it was abandoned.

While looking around the rooftop, Geunchul approached, panting.

"That guy… he's… he's… forcing himself on Jisook even though she… she… doesn't want it…"

"What do you mean?"

When Seokhoon asked, Geunchul took a deep breath and spoke urgently.

"Jisook is about to be raped."

"How do you know that? It could be a consensual act of affection?"

Seokhoon's words made Geunchul glare at him.

"I'm one hundred percent sure. They're in the small auditorium right now."

Given what Geunchul said, I wanted to check, so I suggested we sneak into the small auditorium. However, I made Geunchul promise that if it was a consensual act, we would acknowledge it and sneak out quietly.

The door to the small auditorium was perfect for opening without making a sound. We slightly opened the door just enough to slip in and moved as if crawling. The small auditorium felt like we had entered a theater.

When we opened the door and went in, we saw long rows of chairs, with the back rows higher and the front stage lower. Fortunately, Jang Hahoon and Jisook were talking at the very front, so we could hide and observe from the back.

We listened intently to their conversation. Jisook's tone was slightly excited.

"Brother… Hahoon brother… I heard from Yerim."

"Why bring up Yerim out of the blue? We're over. We broke up a long time ago."

"Who suggested breaking up? Did you break up first?"

"Yes, I broke up first."

"But Yerim said something different. She said she suggested breaking up, but you said you couldn't break up…."

Jisook sighed deeply, as if overwhelmed by her emotions.

"What exactly did you hear? Yerim followed me around because she liked me."

"That's true at first. Yerim was always smiling, choosing gifts for you every weekend because she liked you so much. But… now I feel the same way. I think Yerim decided to break up with you because of this."

"What are you talking about?"

"You're too possessive. Why did you hit Sangryeol a few days ago? He was a friend I've known since childhood. Friends from the same neighborhood can be close, but you can't tolerate that. It suffocates me!"

"That's… I warned him because I thought he had ill intentions towards you. His reaction was strange… He was so arrogant, so I hit him."

"What? You hit him? He's still in the hospital! Is that what you call hitting him? What did you hit him with that he's in the hospital? That's not all. What did you do to Yerim to make her break up with you? She came to me and told me everything, even though it was embarrassing. She said you proposed a clean break, but she was so scared of you that she had to give in. Is that true? If I break up with you, will you do the same to me?"

Jisook deliberately poured out her accusations, and Jang Hahoon sighed deeply before staring at her intently.

"Why are you looking at me like that? What I said… is it all true? You have nothing to say, right?"

"Phew… Jisook… Do you believe me, or do you believe Yerim?"

"It doesn't matter who I believe. At first, I thought Hahoon brother was so cool and wanted to date you once. I was really happy when you approached me first. But now, your possessiveness makes me scared."

Jisook's words made Jang Hahoon's expression harden. He looked at her with a frightening gaze, and she avoided his eyes.

"So… So you want to break up with me?"

"Yes…"

"If you heard about Yerim, you must have come prepared today."

"Just let's break up. I don't want to break up with any conditions, like Yerim did."

"Jisook, you're such a selfish person. I went through a lot of trouble to clear out the guys who were after you while we were dating. I don't just let anyone who looks at my girl go. Touching my girl is like touching me. Such people need to be beaten to a pulp. Jisook, do you have a boyfriend?"

"Of course not."

"But you want to break up with me? Do you not realize how honorable it is to be chosen by me? When will you ever date a perfect guy like me? There's a truckload of girls chasing after me. Jisook… snap out of it! It's me, me, Jang Hahoon!"

Hahoon suddenly pulled Jisook into a hug and tried to kiss her. But Jisook turned her head in shock.

"Brother, don't! Please… I don't want to!"
