Compared to the ups and downs of the previous book, the new book's recommendation period almost didn't make it to the Three Rivers, but this book's journey as a new book has been much smoother.

From the strong push to the Three Rivers and then to the subscription phase, it skipped the Six Frequencies in between, which is a bit of a regret. The previous book also went directly from a strong push to the Three Rivers, missing out on the Six Frequencies achievement. This book is also missing the Six Frequencies achievement.

However, whether or not it has the Six Frequencies isn't a big issue. The important thing is that this book is finally about to go on subscription.

Going on subscription means it will start charging!

Before the subscription, the chapters of the guardian were 2,000 words each. After the subscription, the chapters will likely remain at 3,000 words each. Normally, 1,000 words cost 10 cents, with a basic VIP paying 8 cents and a premium VIP paying 6 cents.

For a 3,000-word chapter, the fee ranges from 30 cents to 18 cents, depending on the subscription account level. For two chapters, it would be from 60 cents to 36 cents.

I believe that spending a few cents a day to support a regular subscription won't be a problem for many people. A cup of milk tea costs around 15 yuan, and the savings can cover a month of my updates, and there might even be some left over.

Of course, every author has the heart to update more. From my previous book, you can see that I updated 18,000 to 27,000 words daily, which was indeed very hard work in the early stages. However, some readers thought that the daily updates were too much and the consumption was a bit high, so I reduced the update volume to balance the consumption.

So whether this book will have a burst of updates or not depends on your preferences. Whether you prefer a steady stream or a large volume, I can accommodate either.

Whether it's 6,000 words a day or more than 10,000 words a day, it's up to you!

Additionally—

The current collection data for this book looks good, but some of the tens of thousands of collections are from the new book event, where some people simply collected to enter a lottery (they don't actually read the book). Therefore, I don't dare to set my expectations too high for the first subscription. Although my expectations aren't high, the previous book had 2,000 first subscriptions, and this book shouldn't be worse. They say each book should improve a little, so I hope this book's first subscription doesn't fall below 2,000.

When a book first goes on subscription, there should be some additional update standards, so here they are:

First Subscription (24-hour first chapter subscription): The goal is 2,000. For every 500 additional first subscriptions, one extra update will be added, with no upper limit!

Total Subscription (24-hour total chapter subscriptions): The goal is 30,000 total subscriptions. For every 5,000 additional total subscriptions, one extra update will be added, up to a maximum of four extra updates!

If I really owe a few hundred chapters, and I have to update 20,000 words a day like the previous book, it took me half a year to catch up, with no breaks in between. Even a production team's donkey wouldn't be so reckless!

Of course, if such an update standard still makes me owe a few hundred chapters, I'll accept it. If a book can be completed, it definitely won't be dragged into the next book.

Finally—

The subscription time is tomorrow (Friday) at noon, but because VIP chapters have some delay, I estimate the actual update will be around 12:05 PM. So readers who don't see an update by 11 AM tomorrow can wait until after 12 PM.

After tomorrow, the daily update time will officially change from 11 AM to 12 PM.
