Chapter 6

15:25.

The airship flew from the mountainous city of the Republic of Baratochia to the city of the Sky Arena, taking six hours.

"Is that the famous Sky Combat Tower?"

Ilumi stood by the window, gazing at the skyscraper standing in the center of the city, with a clear sky and not a cloud in sight.

"A total of 251 floors, 991 meters high, the fourth tallest building in the world."

"Has Young Master Ilumi also paid attention to the Sky Arena?"

Zibonian and Wutong stood behind Ilumi, smiling as they asked.

"I do pay some attention to information from the outside world."

Ilumi faced away from them, his voice calm.

At 15:55, the airship landed at the airport in the city where the Sky Arena was located.

In the massive crowd at the airport, four figures of varying heights descended from the airship and entered the airport terminal.

"Master of the household, Young Master Ilumi."

Two butlers who had been waiting at the airport for a long time bowed respectfully to them.

"Let's go."

Shiba instructed, and the two butlers bowed again before turning to walk towards the parking lot outside the airport.

The group of four became a group of six, and their rare butler attire in tailcoats attracted the attention of many ordinary people.

After all, it was rare to see so many butlers serving someone. They might not be from a noble family, but they were certainly from a wealthy one.

The four of them got into the car that had been prepared in advance and drove to the Sky Arena.

"Oh~ That's amazing, Fighter Foksy defeated Fighter Riman and completed a three-match winning streak!"

As Ilumi and the others got out of the car, they heard an enthusiastic and high-pitched female voice.

Looking up, they saw a huge screen hanging on the facade of the Sky Combat Tower, broadcasting a match live.

The match had just ended.

"This is the Sky Arena. You have to fight up to the 200th floor, with no time limit."

Shiba introduced to Ilumi, looking at the entrance of the Sky Combat Tower, where a constant stream of people were coming and going.

"The rest of the way, you have to walk it yourself."

Ilumi nodded lightly, shouldering the gray backpack that Wutong had prepared for him, which contained a few sets of clothes for changing.

"Ilumi, there's something I need to tell you."

Just as Ilumi was about to enter the lobby of the combat tower alone, Shiba suddenly called him.

"You can only fight up to the 200th floor. After reaching the 200th floor, don't register, just come back directly."

Ilumi turned to look at Shiba, a smile playing on his lips.

"I understand."

He knew what the 200th floor and above represented. Since Shiba didn't intend to tell him, he didn't plan to ask either.

The concept of Nen, once formed, would make one unable to resist cultivating it, and Ilumi was no exception.

His ability, though it grew over time, was actually related to his mental power, which he achieved through daily meditation.

Mental power, in turn, was related to Nen, and he often couldn't resist wanting to awaken his Nen, but he always held back at the crucial moment.

At least, he couldn't cultivate Nen while in the Zoldyck family.

Otherwise, with his Nen that didn't even know the technique "Zetsu," it would be easy for Shiba and Gon to see through him.

He couldn't explain why he knew about Nen and its cultivation.

The time spent in the Sky Combat Tower would be a good opportunity to cultivate Nen.

"Zibonian, Wutong."

After Ilumi entered the first-floor lobby of the Sky Combat Tower, Shiba instructed Zibonian and Wutong.

"You two stay here and guard Ilumi."

"Yes, Master Shiba."

Zibonian and Wutong nodded in response to Shiba.

Shiba looked at the entrance of the Sky Combat Tower's lobby one last time, then turned to enter the car, while Zibonian and Wutong bowed in farewell.

"Sure enough, they left people to watch over and protect me."

Ilumi leaned against the glass wall to the left of the entrance, looking at the remaining Zibonian and Wutong.

"I thought only Wutong would be left behind."

"Didn't expect Zibonian to stay as well. It seems I still have some weight in this father's heart."

Actually, Ilumi's perspective was skewed. He was looking at the Zoldyck family from the perspective of twenty years later, not from twenty years ago.

The next generation of the Zoldyck family now only had two children, and Ilumi, with his genius potential, was naturally a key focus of the Zoldyck family's current training.

"What a long queue."

Ilumi looked at the fifty-meter-long queue in the lobby, feeling helpless.

He hated waiting in line; it made time feel very long.

"Welcome to the Sky Arena."

The lady at the registration desk, though surprised by Ilumi's age, still smiled and welcomed him.

"Please fill out your personal information on this form."

A registration form was extended from the registration window, and Ilumi picked up the pen on the registration desk to fill it out. After completing the registration, he handed it to the staff member in charge of registration.

"Mr. Ilumi Zoldyck, you are number 1068."

The staff lady introduced herself to Ilumi with a kind expression.

"The matches on the first floor are called by number, so please pay attention."

"Please proceed inside."

After saying this, the staff member gestured for Ilumi to walk to the right passage, which led to the first-floor arena.

Ilumi walked along the passage to the end, and even before he reached the exit, he could already hear the cheers of the audience.

"It's quite large."

What appeared before Ilumi was a spacious and bright space, the first-floor arena of the Sky Combat Tower.

The facilities inside were built like an arena, with sixteen stages from A to P, and the audience in the stands were cheering for the fighters on the stages.

Ilumi, carrying his gray backpack, sat down in the stands and watched the ongoing matches.

"Just a bunch of ordinary people's matches, nothing impressive."

He scanned the sixteen stages, where the fighters were all ordinary people, at most having practiced some boxing and modern combat.

"I have to win 50 floors in one go, or I'll go hungry."

Ilumi had no money, and Shiba hadn't given him any. If he wanted to eat, he had to earn it himself.

"Fighters 1068, 1125, and 1138, please prepare at stages A, D, and E, respectively."

Soon, the matches on three stages were decided, and the broadcast called out Ilumi's number. He stood up, walked to the edge of the stands, and easily leaped into the arena, placing his hand on the GG sign.

At stage A, Ilumi put down his backpack, and the referee, seeing him, was taken aback.

"Are you a participant?"

Ilumi, hearing the referee's uncertain question, ignored him and leaped onto the stage, facing a thirty-year-old man in a taekwondo uniform who was already standing there.

"Hey, look at that kid."

The audience nearby immediately noticed the unusual situation on the stage.

The referee came between the two, glanced at Ilumi, frowned slightly, and then explained the rules of the arena.

"In the matches on the first floor, the participants' strength will be judged based on the match process."

"Please display your strength and end the match within the three-minute time limit."

"Then..."

The referee scanned the expressions and attitudes of the two participants, raised his arm, and suddenly brought it down.

"The match begins!"

The man in the taekwondo uniform assumed a stance and grinned at Ilumi.

"Sorry, little brother."

"I'll end this match in an instant, you won't have any..."

"Bang!"

Before he could finish, Ilumi suddenly appeared in front of him and punched him in the abdomen, leaving a fist mark.

The taekwondo man's mouth opened wide, his eyes turned white, and Ilumi pulled back his arm and stepped to the side.

"Ugh..."

The man took a step forward and fell down, unconscious.

"Wow, that kid."

"He took out that black belt taekwondo practitioner with just one punch."

The audience erupted, and the referee, looking at Ilumi intently, picked up the terminal and "beeped" a few times, printing out a slip of paper and handing it to Ilumi.

"1068, you can go directly to the 50th floor for your next match."
