"Leopard... a leopard?!"

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Where did this thing come from?"

"What a big, beautiful feline!"

"Examiner! Is this not a violation of the rules?"

...

For a moment, everyone was whispering to each other.

Some were curious, admiring, and amazed by the mount that Allen had summoned out of nowhere, while others were trying to complain to Examiner Sats to disqualify this powerful competitor.

Unfortunately, Sats paid no attention to these trivial tricks and led the way in silence.

He knew that with Allen and Zeno's level of Nen ability, they were among the top-tier in the Association, and the Hunter Exam was merely a formality.

Given President Netero's playful nature, he would be more than happy to welcome the two into the Association.

At the same time, Zeno was staring intently at Allen out of the corner of his eye, a twisted smile on his lips. He muttered to himself, "Interesting! So interesting! Summoning a beast out of nowhere! This isn't Nen, but some other mysterious power I don't know about, like the silver giant wolf he summoned during the last battle. I'm really looking forward to fighting you... Allen!"

Due to the intense and crazy Nen he inadvertently released, the surrounding candidates were frightened and kept a safe distance from this extremely dangerous lunatic.

Even Examiner Sats couldn't help but raise his guard to prevent this guy from suddenly making a move.

After all, Zeno had a record of doing something similar last year.

Perhaps because of the distance or his naturally thick-skinned nature, Leorio didn't sense Zeno's malevolent Nen at all and shouted angrily, "Allen! That's too sly! This is a test of endurance! You're cheating outright!"

"Huh? I don't think it's cheating. The examiner just said to follow, and didn't specify that we couldn't ride a leopard," Gon spoke up to defend Allen.

"Damn it! Whose side are you on?" Leorio glared at him.

Looking at this guy who was actually under twenty but looked like a middle-aged man in his forties, Allen suddenly had the urge to tease him. He deliberately put on a look of disgust and replied, "You really are ugly, old man. Haven't you heard that jealousy makes a man ugly?"

"Damn it! Who are you calling an old man? I'm only in my teens! And this is not jealousy!"

Provoked by Allen, Leorio, who was already straightforward and impulsive, became furious and several times tried to reach out to pull Allen off his mount.

Unfortunately, every time he was about to grab Allen, the Swift Thunderblade Leopard would suddenly speed up, nearly causing him to fall flat on his face.

"Only in your teens?"

"Are you kidding me?"

"Impossible!"

For a moment, everyone looked incredulous, refusing to believe it.

After all, he looked so old and dressed like an adult, not a teenager.

Just as Leorio was getting frustrated by everyone's reaction, Killua suddenly skated past the two of them, looking completely relaxed.

"Ah! There's another one!" Leorio instantly shifted his target of anger.

"Old man, you're so annoying."

Killua delivered the final blow to Leorio's already shattered ego.

Leorio visibly sank into a state of depression, running like a zombie and muttering, "Old man... old man... old man..."

Feeling the lively atmosphere created by the bickering, Killua suddenly felt a stirring in his heart and turned to Gon, who had innocent eyes, and asked, "How old are you?"

"Twelve! What about you?" Gon smiled and asked back.

"Same! We're the same age. I'm Killua."

Killua jumped off his skateboard and coolly tucked it under his arm.

"My name is Gon Freecss!"

With Gon introducing himself, the fates of these two young boys finally intersected.

They probably wouldn't believe that in the near future, their friendship would become so intimate and they would create countless incredible miracles.

To avoid making Killua's sensitive nerves too tense because of his own Nen, Allen quickly sped up his mount and rode to the front of the group, walking alongside Examiner Sats.

Although he had never tested the Swift Thunderblade Leopard's top speed, he was confident it wouldn't be inferior to any ground vehicle.

Plus, the mount had the characteristics of never getting injured or tired, making it easy to keep up with the examiner.

Sats seemed to notice the Swift Thunderblade Leopard's extraordinary speed and endurance and decided to challenge it. He suddenly sped up, rushing out of the tunnel and into the Shimmel Wetlands, but he couldn't even pull ahead by half a step.

However, his capricious behavior severely affected the candidates behind him.

Many who lacked strong willpower became discouraged when they lost sight of the examiner, gave up running, and were eliminated.

Fortunately, Sats noticed this and deliberately waited at the entrance until Leorio and Kurapika caught up before announcing the end of the first half of the exam.

The second half, which was about to begin, would be even more intense and dangerous, involving crossing the Shimmel Wetlands, which were filled with numerous monsters and traps.

"I think this is a good battlefield, don't you?" Zeno approached Allen and whispered.

"Too hasty. I don't think our battle will end quickly. Don't rush, I promise to settle our grudge before the end of this Hunter Exam." Allen refused without hesitation.

He knew that the fourth exam would involve hunting each other's number plates on a closed island, which would be the perfect place for a no-holds-barred fight.

Before that, he didn't want to risk missing the deadline and being disqualified due to a fight.

"Alright! But please hurry! I can't wait any longer! You're just too delicious! I can't help but want to take a bite right now." Zeno's body radiated a strong desire for battle.

"Same here! I can't wait to punch that annoying face of yours into a pig's head!" Allen cracked his knuckles.

"Uh-huh! That's the spirit! Since we can't fight now, I'll go find some fun. See you later..."

With his last word, Zeno vanished from the spot.

After confirming that his presence was completely gone, Allen rode the Swift Thunderblade Leopard to catch up with Examiner Sats.

With the dual assurance of the Hunter Mark and the ability to track humanoids, he quickly caught up with the first group and arrived at the destination, successfully passing the first trial.
