Otto finally regained his senses only the next afternoon.

Otto opened his eyes.

“Are you feeling better now?”

Kamui, who had been watching over him, smiled when Otto woke up.

“Where am I?”

“In the lord’s bedroom.”

Kamui handed Otto a warm cup of tea.

Otto clutched the back of his head and groaned.

Otto finally realized why he had a bump and nodded.

“Right. That’s why I’m in pain, huh?”

“Since you hit your head so hard….”

Kamui pointed to Otto’s armor hanging on the rack.

Upon closer inspection, the back of the helmet was severely dented.

Given that a metal helmet was dented to that extent, it was easy to imagine how hard Kamui had hit him with the pointer.

Otto frowned.

“Yeah.”

Otto nodded.

“It’s like a special remedy for mind control effects… It’s quite useful in various ways.”

This pointer was one of the items in the lord’s bedroom of the Ort fief, appearing to be a regular pointer.

However, it had a special hidden effect.
