"Hey there, kid. Looks like we're doing great business on the first day, huh?"

Liaer raised his hand with a "Yo!"

"Wh-What!? Why are you guys here?"

If my memory serves me right, Liaer and the others from the 'Azure Lightning' were supposed to be part of a different adventurer's guild. So why are they here at the 'Apostles of the Silver Moon'? It was Kiki who answered my question.

"We all transferred to the 'Apostles of the Silver Moon,' nya."

"So... you mean a transfer?"

"Yeah, that's right. A transfer. After all, if we're going to work in Niorich, it's easier to be part of a guild in town, nya."

"That's right. The 'Apostles of the Silver Moon' were keen on accepting adventurers who were active in this town, and we even got a signing bonus."

Liaer took out a heavy-looking leather bag from his pocket and showed it off with a smug look.

"......We are all Silver Rank adventurers. This is the treatment we deserve."

Neska puffed out her chest proudly.

"I see. So accomplished adventurers are welcomed with good treatment."

As I nodded in admiration, Rolf added, "Yes," and provided more details.

"Transferring between guilds is quite common among adventurers."

"......Rolf is right. It's actually rare for adventurers to stay in one place for long."

"I see."

According to Neska, it's quite common for skilled adventurers to change guilds. Adventurers are essentially wanderers.

From town to town.

From ruin to ruin.

From dungeon to dungeon.

Many adventurers move to their destination and change their affiliated guild as needed. Of course, larger guilds have branches everywhere, but still.

After hearing the explanation, I could only marvel, "Wow."

"Got it, kid? We're now part of the 'Apostles of the Silver Moon' as of today. So..."

He paused for a moment, then Liaer grinned.

"Kid, got any recommended items?"

"......Chocolate. Liaer, buy some chocolate."

"Ah, then I want 'candy,' nya!"

Neska, who found a chocolate bar among the items, grabbed it with both hands. Next to her, Kiki was hugging a jar of candy.

The girls from 'Azure Lightning' really get excited when it comes to sweets.

"Sorry, Sir Shiro. I always tell them, but when they see the sweets you sell, they can't help themselves..."

Rolf said, watching the two of them sweep the shelves clean, pressing his temples.

"Neska, Kiki, take it easy."

"......Adventurers don't know what tomorrow will bring. I don't want to regret not taking enough."

"Right, right. Besides, candy doesn't melt like chocolate, so we can take it on our jobs, nya."

"......Kiki might be right. ...I'll get some candy too."

"Ah, that's not fair, Neska! I was aiming for that, nya!"

"......Hehe. First come, first served."

And so, despite it being the first day of business, the sweets were all gone.

"Hey, kid, want to join us for a drink to celebrate the guild's opening?"

Liaer asked this after the battle over the sweets was over.

"......Shiro is celebrating the opening. We're celebrating the transfer. What do you say?"

Neska, with chocolate smeared around her mouth, suggested.

"Sure... I guess..."

I crossed my arms and thought about it.

Come to think of it, I hadn't decided on business hours yet. Glancing at the clock, it was exactly 5 PM. For a shop aiming to be a pleasant place, this would be a good time to close.

"Then..."

I turned to Aina and Stella.

"I think we'll call it a day. What do you think?"

"I can still work, Aina can!"

Aina said, and

"I can too. I can still work."

Stella agreed. This mother and daughter are really hard workers.

"Hmm... No, I think we should close at this time. Working too much will affect us tomorrow. So, we'll end today's business here. Let's start the closing procedures. Stella, can you cover the shelves with cloth?"

"Sure."

Stella nodded and began covering the shelves with a thick cloth.

"Shiro-nii, what can Aina do?"

"I'll ask Aina to count the money. Can you handle it?"

"Okay. Aina will try."

Aina seemed happy to be given a task I usually do. From the back of the store, I could hear her counting the money.

"One, two, three, four... ..."

After successfully calculating the sales and completing the closing procedures,

"Cheers!"

The celebration for the guild's opening, organized by Shiro's Shop and the 'Azure Lightning,' began.
