Last update of the day ('ω')!

I hope you enjoyed it.

The floor boss of the fifth level of the "Painted Abandoned Mine Labyrinth" is a giant crab called the "Steel Crab," which is about the size of a small carriage.

As its name suggests, it is a formidable enemy with a steel shell, and it is said that magic is essential to defeat it.

For novice adventurers, it is quite a dangerous opponent.

"Well, I'll go first."

"Eh, are you sure? Yuuk."

Marina voices her concern, but I nod in response.

"As a senior adventurer and a newcomer, I thought I'd put on a bit of a show."

I take out the "adventure streaming" equipment from my bag and float it in the air.

It's a floating automatic camera magic item, the "GoPro-kun."

"Are you going to 'stream'?"

"No, it's for recording. I'll check it later, and I'll record the entire battle with the floor boss."

Rain looks at the floating "GoPro-kun" with great interest.

He really loves magic items.

"Why don't you do a 'live stream'?"

"Hmm? Sure, why not... Why?"

"Because it sounds fun!"

Honest and straightforward.

"Then, I'll register it as a party stream... Oh, by the way, what's the name of our 'party'?"

"Um, we don't have one yet... We haven't even registered as a formal party."

Silk shrinks a bit and answers.

There's no need to be so down.

There are plenty of parties like that.

"Then, let's decide now!"

"Do you have any ideas?"

Marina, who suggested it, fidgets a bit.

Maybe she hadn't thought of anything...?

Just as I was thinking that, a small voice proposes something.

"–... 'Clover.' Um, Yuuk is the lucky fourth leaf!"

"Oh, that's nice, Marina."

"Yeah, I like it."

For some reason, my back itches, but if the three of them like it, that's fine.

"Alright, let's register the party at the guild when we get back. And first... Okay, set. The first live stream of 'Clover' will be my floor boss battle. ...Wait, is that okay?"

It's the first stream, and it's fine for a newcomer like me to be the main focus?

Wouldn't it be better to show something we all do together?

"It's fine!"

It seems it is.

"Then, let's do it."

I buff myself to the max and open the door to the floor boss's room.

There it is, in the center of a large, circular arena-like cavern.

The Steel Crab notices us and clatters its pincers.

During its threatening display, I wave my fingers and cast spells in quick succession.

"Paralyze, Slow, Poison, Weaken, Dazzle..."

I cast debuff spells one after another on the approaching Steel Crab using quick casting.

"Amazing...!"

Rain's small praise from the door reaches my ears.

It feels good to be seen and appreciated by my juniors, especially since I haven't been evaluated much before.

I restrict its movement with "Paralyze" and "Slow," and weaken it with "Poison."

Its large pincers swing wildly, unable to see me.

The more it moves, the more the "Poison" spreads.

"...Gravity."

When it's sufficiently weakened, I cast an additional debuff spell.

Normally, this spell increases the gravity on the target, slowing its movement, but for the weakened Steel Crab, this is the finishing blow.

Its body, already weakened by "Poison" and "Weaken," can't withstand the increased weight, and it collapses with a metallic sound, stopping all movement.

I feel the debuff spells being removed one by one, proof that the Steel Crab has been defeated.

Debuff spells don't work on corpses.

"Boss defeated. ...Thank you for watching! Stream ended."

I end the likely unwatched "live stream" with a greeting and smile at the three behind me.

"How was it?"

"Amazing!"

Marina suddenly tackles me in a hug as she dashes over.

"Oof"

Marina's dash hug in her metal armor is quite powerful.

It would be better if she did this when she's not wearing armor.

"Amazing! Yuuk! I didn't know you could fight like that!"

"I was surprised too. To think you could defeat a floor boss with just debuff spells...!"

"Using magic without casting, one after another...! I've never seen anything like that."

I'm relieved to be accepted.

With "Thunderpike," I wasn't even given a chance to show my skills because it wasn't "stream-worthy."

"Pretty impressive, right?"

"Amazing!"

I chuckle at the cheerful Marina and approach the Steel Crab's corpse.

It's quite large and should fetch a good price.

"Let's leave the dissection to the guild."

I store the Steel Crab's corpse in my magic bag and lead the three to the stairs.

"But, is it okay... for Yuuk to carry us...?"

"Then, let's try it with all four of us next time. Not everything will go as smoothly as this."

"Yes, if you say so, Yuuk."

Silk is a bit too serious, but she thinks well.

However, she is too cautious and doesn't fully utilize her abilities. If she gains more confidence, she will become a better adventurer.

"Before we go down the stairs, let's open that."

In front of where the Steel Crab was, a treasure chest has appeared.
