Chapter 10

The secret realm is an opportunity for humans, but it is also a crisis.

Through the connected spatial tunnels, humans can enter the secret realm for exploration, while the extraordinary creatures within can also escape.

To restrict these extraordinary creatures and prevent them from endangering the surrounding residents, the state usually builds a military fortress to encircle the entrance and exit of the secret realm.

Thus, if any disobedient extraordinary creatures escape, they can be eliminated immediately.

The Ring Lake Forest is only a low-risk secret realm, so the scale of this fortress is not large, and the number of guards stationed there is not many.

Outside the fortress, there is a new town.

This town flourished because of the Ring Lake Forest, and most of the shops and hotels inside are set up for beast masters.

Here, you can buy survival tools for the outdoors such as sleeping bags, tents, flashlights, water bottles, hiking poles, and first-aid kits, as well as combat suits, various spiritual herbs and fruits, and even wild pet beasts.

However, the school had already prepared the necessary items for the students' expedition in advance, so there was no need to buy anything here.

As for the combat suits, they are distributed uniformly by the school, with one set per person.

"Students, take out your phones and check again to see if you have downloaded the Secret Realm app. There is no signal in the Ring Lake Forest, so you can only connect to the local network through the Secret Realm app. This way, we can monitor your location in real time."

"If you encounter danger in the Ring Lake Forest, you can also use the Secret Realm app to call for help, and someone will come to rescue you. This is the first line of insurance."

"Additionally, the teacher will distribute a locator to each of you shortly. This locator also has positioning and distress functions, equivalent to the second line of insurance."

"Make sure to keep both your phone and locator safe, and do not lose them!"

Outside the fortress, after Class 4 of Grade 1 gathered, their homeroom teacher, Liu Yiting, emphasized the precautions again.

Pausing, she continued:

"The Ring Lake Forest is not very large, with a total area equivalent to a town, and multiple safety stations have been set up. Except for the island in the middle of the lake, no matter where you are, you can find a safety station within five kilometers."

"On the Secret Realm app, you can see the locations of these safety stations. Before 8 PM, everyone must go to the nearest safety station to rest, and you must not spend the night outdoors."

"Additionally, the island in the middle of the lake has many elite-level extraordinary creatures, which are too dangerous for you, and entry is not allowed."

"Understood?"

"Understood!"

The students answered in unison.

"Very good, check your backpacks again to make sure you haven't forgotten anything, and then follow Class 3 to prepare to enter the fortress!"

This was Liu Yiting's first time leading so many people into the secret realm, and she looked more nervous than the students.

"Senior, why don't I see your backpack?"

At the back of the line, Su Yi noticed that Bai Zhen was empty-handed and couldn't help but be puzzled.

He and Zhang Xiaotong were both carrying large hiking backpacks, which contained not only clothes and food but also many tools that might be useful.

To prepare these items, Ms. Jiang Xiaoxiu had spent over 3,000 yuan. However, more than 1,000 yuan was spent on buying the phone.

"Backpacks are not necessary for me."

Bai Zhen replied indifferently.

Seeing that her teammates seemed not to understand, she added: "I have this."

She then showed her white wrist, where a jade bracelet of emerald green was worn.

Su Yi could clearly feel the faint spiritual energy contained within it.

"Is this... a secret treasure?"

Both Su Yi and Zhang Xiaotong were surprised; it was the first time they had seen a secret treasure up close!

"Storage bracelet, a very common secret treasure, no need to be so surprised. Give me your backpacks, and I'll store them for you. Carrying such heavy things is inconvenient."

It seemed she really didn't take this secret treasure seriously.

"Thank you, Senior."

What could Su Yi and Zhang Xiaotong say? They immediately took off their backpacks and handed them to her.

In the next moment, under their surprised gazes, the two backpacks disappeared from Bai Zhen's hands.

This scene was also seen by students from other groups.

"Senior Bai Zhen actually has a storage secret treasure! Sob, sob, sob, why wasn't I assigned to Senior Bai Zhen's group?"

They were already envious of Su Yi and Zhang Xiaotong, and now they were even more envious.

Especially those with poor physical conditions, they wished they could hand their backpacks to this senior.

Soon, the group of teachers and students entered the fortress.

As soon as they entered the fortress, Su Yi noticed the spatial tunnel in the center.

The spatial tunnel was oval-shaped, emitting a dim light. Although there was nothing behind it, stepping into it would allow one to cross overlapping spaces and enter a new world.

"This is the Ring Lake Forest?" Su Yi, who was entering a secret realm for the first time, was surprised at the sight.

In front of him was an endless forest. Although there was no sun in the sky, the light spiritual energy was abundant, making it no different from daytime outside.

The climate here was also very comfortable, neither cold nor hot, and it felt like spring all year round.

"Everything that needs to be said has been said. Students, let's go. See you tonight, dismissed!"

Liu Yiting finally stopped repeating the safety precautions and announced the dismissal.

The students, who had been holding back, cheered and entered the forest in groups, beginning their first training.

"Let's go."

Bai Zhen called out to Su Yi and Zhang Xiaotong, then identified the direction and walked down a forest path to the left.

"Okay."

The two responded and immediately followed.

However, just as Su Yi took a step, several notifications suddenly appeared in his mind:

"Ding, treasure-hunting mode activated!"

"Entering treasure-hunting mode, searching automatically..."

"Ding, low-level secret treasure detected 2.3 kilometers to the left front!"

Huh?

Su Yi was first stunned, then overjoyed.

Finding something as soon as he entered was indeed a pleasant surprise.

Moreover, it was a secret treasure!

Although he didn't know what kind of secret treasure it was yet, any secret treasure was enough to make him ecstatic.

After all, even the most ordinary storage-type secret treasure costs over one million yuan on the market.

This was a huge sum for Su Yi at the moment!

If it was a combat-type secret treasure, selling it for a few million would be no problem!

In that case, the Grandmaster-level potential little purple weasel in the Beast Master Mall could be acquired!

Ha ha ha, who says the Ring Lake Forest has been thoroughly searched by beast masters countless times and no valuable items can be found anymore?

Today, I'll show you my "luck"!
