The two-day weekend was over, and Lu Ye had to return to school for classes.

However, after the worldline changed, the University of the Magic City also underwent a tremendous transformation.

Walking around the campus, one could see young men and women carrying Poké Balls everywhere, some even letting their Pokémon follow them around.

Most of the Pokémon were small, like Pidgey, Growlithe, and Meowth, and some students even rode Rapidash, zipping by in a flash.

"Using Pokémon for racing is prohibited on campus!"

"Please calm down, sir. Those are for battling, and they're training today!"

Lu Ye checked the official website and found that a "Trainer Academy" had indeed been added to the South Campus.

"Pokémon Battles" and "Pokémon Breeding" were listed as top priority majors.

However, these changes didn't affect Lu Ye much, who was majoring in finance.

Although a few Pokémon elective courses had been added to his schedule, the content of his major courses hadn't changed much.

"At least I still have time to review; otherwise, my scholarship for this semester would be in jeopardy," Lu Ye muttered to himself.

Indeed, Lu Ye was not only a popular game streamer but also a top student.

He consistently ranked at the top of his major, always in the top three of his department, and had a chance to win a national scholarship in the second half of the year.

Although he was a freshman, his good looks and excellent grades made him highly popular across all grades.

The first elective class of the morning was "Sinnoh Pokémon History."

When he arrived at the lecture hall, it was already packed with students.

"Bro Lu, over here!"

Lu Ye's roommate, Liang Dayou, who was pursuing dual degrees in law and computer science, waved at him.

Despite his buzz cut, Dayou's M-shaped hairline betrayed his age, making people marvel:

"What a strong man!"

Lu Ye walked to the seat his roommate had saved and whispered, "Why are there so many people today? The teacher doesn't even take attendance!"

Liang Dayou smiled, "Didn't you see the group chat? Today's class is taught by a foreign professor, a Pokémon Doctor."

Lu Ye was slightly taken aback, "Which Pokémon Doctor?"

"From the Sinnoh region, Professor Rowan!"

The lecture hall, which was already full, suddenly erupted in applause, and a few journalists with equipment squeezed in from the back.

An elderly man with a mustache and a stern expression walked into the classroom, carrying a briefcase.

His gray hair was slicked back with gel, and he wore a gray coat, a blue velvet vest, and a tie. After clearing his throat, he greeted the class in English:

"I am Professor Rowan from the Sinnoh region, and I will be substituting for this class today."

The classroom erupted in a chorus of exclamations.

Liang Dayou, trying to keep his excitement in check, whispered, "Professor Rowan is an expert in evolution and is considered the foremost scholar in Sinnoh!"

Lu Ye's expression was complex, "I know."

"You know?"

Of course, how could Lu Ye not know?

Wasn't this the Pokémon Doctor who gave new trainers their starter Pokémon in the Sinnoh region?

Despite their excitement, the students quickly settled down and began to listen attentively.

Although the class was taught in English, the elderly professor's explanation was clear and engaging, drawing everyone in.

"Sinnoh Pokémon History has its roots in the mythological era and can be considered a microcosm of the world's Pokémon history."

"According to legend, the singularity formed after the Big Bang gave birth to the oldest creator deity, Arceus."

"Later, Arceus created the deities responsible for time, space, and antimatter... On the third day, Arceus bestowed emotions, will, and knowledge upon living beings..."

As the students were immersed in the story, Professor Rowan suddenly tapped the blackboard and said seriously:

"Perhaps many of you will never encounter these Pokémon histories again in your lives."

"But history is a treasure of humanity, and it is a valuable asset for you as well."

The University of the Magic City specialized in humanities and history, which was likely why they invited Professor Rowan to teach.

As Lu Ye was deep in thought, Liang Dayou elbowed him, looking panicked.

Professor Rowan said in a deep voice, "Does anyone in the class know the names of the Pokémon mentioned in these mythological epics?"

The atmosphere in the classroom became tense.

After all, few people would memorize such obscure names.

In a parallel world, it would be like trying to remember the names of heroes from the Iliad; even FGO players wouldn't be confident in getting them all right.

Seeing no one respond, Professor Rowan stroked his mustache, "It's fine if you can't name them. You can share your thoughts on the history of Pokémon."

Looking around the classroom, Professor Rowan nodded, "The handsome young man in the front row, why don't you share your thoughts?"

At the mention of "handsome," all eyes in the classroom turned to Lu Ye.

Dayou, feeling a mix of schadenfreude, elbowed Lu Ye and tried to stifle his laughter, tears almost forming in his eyes.

If it weren't for his receding hairline, Dayou could have been a handsome man too.

"Teacher, can I answer the previous question?"

"Of course."

Professor Rowan nodded in surprise, "The three deities who bestowed emotions, will, and knowledge upon living beings are..."

"Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf."

Lu Ye answered calmly.

"According to legend, they reside in the Lake of Rage, Lake of Valor, and Lake of Wisdom in Sinnoh."

The classroom fell silent.

Liang Dayou turned around and saw the girls in the back row staring at Lu Ye in awe.

Professor Rowan was momentarily stunned, as Lu Ye had used Japanese to translate the names accurately.

"...Yes, your answer is quite accurate!"

Professor Rowan nodded in appreciation and led the applause.

The applause was thunderous, and the camera shutters in the back row clicked, but Lu Ye's expression was strange.

Is that it?

Knowing the names of legendary Pokémon is that rare?

I even know about Ultra Necrozma; saying that would shock you!

"Lu Ye, you're truly a top student, ranking in the top three of your grade!"

"When did he learn Japanese? His pronunciation is so good..."

"Little girl, are you in love?"

"Ugh!"

Dayou, hearing the teasing from the back row, pulled out a book on Java programming from his bag with a straight face.

Learning, only continuous learning can make one stronger!

After class, the students respectfully passed by Professor Rowan, who nodded solemnly.

A group of teachers gathered around Professor Rowan, and Lu Ye was about to leave when he was suddenly called.

"Lu Ye, I'm sorry, do you have any plans this afternoon?"

Professor Rowan specifically called out to Lu Ye.

Lu Ye was slightly taken aback and, under the envious gazes of those around him, was pushed forward by Liang Dayou.

"Hello, Professor. I don't have any other classes this afternoon."

Professor Rowan's expression relaxed, "There are a few specialized courses this afternoon, and I would like to ask you to serve as a translator for me."

The surrounding students immediately burst into envious whispers.

Being recognized by a Pokémon Doctor, who were all leading figures in their academic fields, was something many people dreamed of.

And now, Professor Rowan was personally inviting Lu Ye.

Clearly, Professor Rowan was showing favor to Lu Ye, giving him a chance to practice!
