The name of the country where the game takes place is the Kingdom of Limut Break. In the game, this name only appears when the second prince of the neighboring country introduces himself, so it is a name that players tend to forget. Cain, of course, remembers it well since it is the country where he was born, but he still thinks it's a rather mediocre name.

"Was it supposed to mean 'limit breakthrough' with Limut Break?"

Cain, who was riding in a carriage with his father on the way to work, muttered this while looking out the window at the cityscape.

The capital of the Kingdom of Limut Break, Randplame, is a walled city. First, the royal palace, which is the private space of the royal family, and the royal castle, which is filled with administrative functions, are surrounded by a wall. From there, wide streets radiate outwards to the outer parts of the city. The mansions of the high-ranking nobles are lined up near the royal castle, followed by the mansions of the middle and lower-ranking nobles. Beyond that, separated by wide roads, is the citizens' district. The houses of commoners, workshops of craftsmen, vegetable shops, and general stores are built in a cluttered manner. Outside the citizens' district, a wall encircles the city, and beyond that, a moat is dug, with water drawn from a river nearby.

To get from Cain's residence to the royal castle, it was necessary to go out onto the street between the noble district and the citizens' district and make a quarter circle around the city due to the width of the roads. Cain was gazing out the window in a daze when he noticed a bright pink color at the corner of his eye. He got up from his seat and looked back to follow the flowing scenery outside the window, and saw the back of a small girl running along the edge of the road. The pink color was the color of the girl's hair.

"Mom! I got the medicine! And they said to take some eggs for nutrition!"

The small girl burst into the room, opening the wooden door with a bang. She had curly golden eyes and bright pink hair. Her cheeks, flushed from running, made her face even more adorable. Out of breath, she handed a small paper bag to her mother.

"Thank you, Aurora. You didn't have to run."

Her mother gently wiped Aurora's cheeks and neck, which were sweating from running, with a handkerchief and affectionately patted her head. Aurora smiled happily and said, "Because I want you to get better quickly," as she hugged her mother.

In the evening, when her father, who works at an accessory workshop, came home, the family of three gathered around the dining table.

"Aurora made dinner today."

"It's just a barley porridge with eggs. It's not a big deal, just cooking it."

"Still, it's amazing that you can do that at four years old."

Her father, sitting across the table, leaned forward and reached out to pat her head.

"Hey! We're eating, Dad!"

Aurora puffed out her cheeks in anger, but even her angry face was cute.

"By the way, Aurora. A new live-in apprentice has come to the accessory workshop. He's handy and shows promise, so I want you to teach him how to write orders and designs."

Aurora was only four years old, but she could already read and write. Not only that, but when she went shopping, it was discovered that she could do not only addition and subtraction but also multiplication and division, and she was known as a prodigy in the neighborhood.

"Sure. Is he about the same age?"

"No, he's a boy who's about to turn seven. He can read a little, it seems..."

"Hmm."

There are also facilities for teaching studies to commoners. They are more like cram schools than schools, where you can learn only the subjects you want. For example, children from merchant families might learn arithmetic and reading and writing, while children from workshop craftsmen might only learn reading and writing. They can attend these classes in between helping with the family business. Still, it costs money, so it's common to ask someone nearby to teach them.

After the meal, Aurora returned to her room and lay down on her bed.

"Isn't this weird? I didn't meet Il today either. The gentle memories from the massacre route's past flashback scenes aren't happening, are they?"

In a tone that seemed out of place for a small, adorable girl, Aurora muttered to herself. She rolled over onto her back and sighed, placing her arms over her eyes.

"Still, there are too few opportunities for commoners to study. It's impossible to get into the Demon Academy on a scholarship. Without the knowledge from my previous life, achieving that would make Aurora a real prodigy. She's definitely got the protagonist trait."

After saying this, Aurora sat up suddenly, eyes wide, and made a fist like a victory pose.

"Wait, wait, wait. Is there a possibility that Aurora is secretly a reincarnated person in the game's hidden setting? Oh, oh, oh, this is serious. I might be one step closer to the truth of the universe."

After saying this, she fell back onto the bed with a thud.

"No way... Ah... I want to play the game... It's so boring without any entertainment."

Aurora muttered to herself for a while, but eventually, she fell asleep, snoring softly.

After returning home from sword training and going to his room, Cain called Ilvaleno and had him sit on the sofa.

"Have you ever been to the citizens' district?"

"Of course... The orphanage is there, so I go to the city."

"Only the western part?"

"Yes. I have no reason to go to other places."

Today, he saw a girl with pink hair in the southern part. Since the main gate of the royal castle is on the south side, the carriage travels through the main street from the west and heads south.

"Listen, no matter what anyone asks you to do, don't go to the southern citizens' district. Tell them you can't go because I said so."

Ilvaleno, who was sitting across from Cain, swallowed hard at his serious face. In the first place, he rarely went out of the mansion except to go to the orphanage, so it was an unnecessary worry. Still, Cain didn't want to allow even the slightest possibility.

"I understand. Besides, as Cain-sama's valet, I wouldn't be asked to do anything that would take me outside."

Hearing this, Cain nodded and exhaled deeply.

"Do you have any good memories?"

Switching to a casual conversation face, Cain asked Ilvaleno. Ilvaleno looked up and thought for a while before meeting Cain's gaze and saying,

"Perhaps when Lady gave me the red embroidery frame and needle case? It was the first time I had something of my own."

Cain's blue embroidery frame and Ilvaleno's matching red one, in a different color. Cain received it from his mother Elise when he was involved in embroidery while she was starting to embroider. Ilvaleno initially thought of sharing a different memory but felt it would be embarrassing to tell the person in front of him, so he mentioned the embroidery frame.

"I see."

Cain nodded, his eyes smiling warmly.
