Translation: "Adversarial Existence in Life Forms Across the Metagalaxy"

【General Types of OLEM】

・Small Class 【α Type】Three types confirmed: Space, Ground, and Air.

Size is comparable to that of a fighter jet to a tank. They serve as the vanguard, leading the charge.

Basic Armament for Space and Air Types: Beam Vulcan, Plasma Cannon.

Basic Armament for Ground Type: Beam Vulcan, Plasma Cannon.

・Medium Class 【β Type】Divided into Space and Air types.

Size is comparable to that of a destroyer to a cruiser. They employ a strategy of charging alongside α types. Cruisers are equipped with shields.

Armament: Anti-air Beam Vulcan, Beam Cannon, Plasma Cannon.

・Large Class 【γ Type】Only the space type has been confirmed.

Size is comparable to that of a battleship. They serve as the main combat force in space operations, primarily providing support fire for the vanguard. They also carry multiple α types, likely for their own defense.

However, when the number of α and β types decreases, they may charge into battle.

Armament: Anti-air Beam Vulcan, Beam Cannon, Plasma Cannon, α Type Launch.

・Super Large Class 【Δ Type】Only the space type has been confirmed.

Size is comparable to that of a super battleship. They provide support fire alongside γ types. They are equipped with multiple high-output beams and plasma cannons, though not as powerful as the contraction cannon.

Given their size, they are almost certainly the motherships of the OLEM. However, some point out that they are relatively small compared to the number of OLEM.

Armament: Anti-air Beam Vulcan, Beam Cannon, High-output Beam Cannon, Plasma Cannon, High-output Plasma Cannon, α Type Launch.

・Super Class 【E Type】A new type, so it is unclear whether it is for both space and ground.

Size is comparable to that of a super battleship, with high firepower and defense. Like other types, it is equipped with multiple beam and plasma weapons, and has a high-output beam cannon similar to a contraction cannon mounted at the center of the bow.

While the launch of small OLEMs has not been confirmed, it is speculated that it can carry α and β types due to its size.

Armament: Anti-air Beam Vulcan, Beam Cannon, High-output Beam Cannon, Plasma Cannon, High-output Plasma Cannon, Contraction Cannon (provisional), α and β Type Deployment (speculative).

・Unconfirmed Mother Ship Class 【Mother Type】A new type, so it is unclear whether it is for both space and ground.

Size exceeds that of a fortress. Equipped with multiple anti-air beam Vulcans, high-output beam cannons, and high-output plasma cannons, it can also release energy comparable to a fortress cannon.

Recorded footage confirms the deployment of α to γ types from this Mother Type, confirming its role as the OLEM mothership.

It also has high defense, serving as an impregnable fortress. Additionally, it has a high learning ability, mimicking the formations and strength of opposing forces to counter them.

Space Inertia Mobility = Inertial Maneuvering in Space

A method for changing direction in space without using propellants, used by AW and MW.

・【3D Audio System】

An attachment that allows sound to be heard in space. The computer analyzes the video and plays pre-recorded audio through the helmet.

It is a standard feature on all vehicles that operate in space.

・【Reactive Shell】

Commonly known as the "N Shell," it is one of the strategic destruction weapons. Its principle is the same as nuclear weapons, but it uses a material called "Nitronium."

It generates far more energy than plutonium, but when a certain chemical reaction occurs, it simultaneously causes overwhelming destruction and contamination worse than radiation. The decontamination of polluted areas is virtually impossible, and natural decontamination is almost ineffective.

However, Nitronium itself is not a pollutant, so it is used as the energy source for the contraction cannons on battleships. If the reaction is stopped before reaching criticality, it rapidly decays and eventually disappears.

Given these characteristics, the use of N Shells is extremely difficult, even for specialized technicians. Only the three major nations have the capability to produce and equip N Shells, and it is classified as a top-secret matter.

For these reasons, Nitronium is sometimes referred to as "the gift of angels and devils."

・MW = Mobile Walker, Humanoid Heavy Machinery

Originally developed for construction sites and civil engineering work. However, when modified for combat, it outperforms tanks in urban warfare. It can also be specialized to surpass the performance of AWs in some cases.

It is primarily used for ship escort and as a local defense force on frontier planets.

However, the cockpit specifications are only designed for humanoid species.

・AW = Armored Walker, Humanoid General-Purpose Combat Unit

Developed purely for combat, based on MW. It has superior mobility, response speed, and maneuverability compared to MW, and can adapt to various combat scenarios.

As a result, the development and production of AWs are ongoing in all factions.

The cockpit specifications are only designed for humanoid species.

・AS = Armored Striker

Classified as a ship-attack aircraft. Developed to open a breach in space combat.

It is equipped with high mobility, defense, and firepower, making it an effective combat unit against AWs.

However, only a limited number of pilots can handle it. The high cost and poor production efficiency also limit its deployment.

・Neo-Armored Walker

A special device to synchronize the AW and the pilot. It involves attaching machinery to the brain and spinal cord.

・Advantages

Almost no need for familiarization training.

Can become combat-ready even without AW aptitude.

As a side effect, reaction speed is above average.

・Disadvantages

The lower the aptitude, the more susceptible to electronic interference and jamming.

Complete loss of limb nerves, making prosthetics for medical or android use ineffective.

In the worst case, the individual can only move by their own will when aboard an AW.

The miniaturization of the LDS is difficult, preventing the development of similar systems for prosthetics.

Currently, its use is prohibited in both military and civilian settings.
