Chapter 17 - I Am Really Playing Support!

After Chen He banned Lee Sin, the opposition banned Ahri.

Both bans were made against Misaya.

Next, it was Xiao Ran’s turn to ban at the fifth position.

“Are there any champions any of you need to ban?” Xiao Ran asked.

Baby replied with a weak voice, “Ban Caitlyn then. I am always losing against Caitlyn.”

Xiao Ran nodded and banned Caitlyn.

Which ADC was the strongest in the current patch?

Without a doubt, one of them was definitely Caitlyn, The Sheriff of Piltover.

Since the Runaan’s Hurricane update, Caitlyn who only been picked occasionally had started to soar in pick-rate. It was inevitable as the Runaan’s Hurricane was a perfect fit for Caitlyn!

When at the late-game, Caitlyn would be able to deal out double Headshot during team battles, especially with fast attack speed, her damage output was simply breathtaking!

If the bottom lane picked Caitlyn with the support Karma, there wasn’t a need to contest, the opposing bottom lane would have to switch lanes.

Even during early-game laning, Caitlyn could use her innately long-range advantage to suppress the opposing ADC so much that they couldn’t farm.

Of course, Xiao Ran was very willing to ban Caitlyn too, because he was going to play the Carry-type Support later and he would need some strategy.

Furthermore, Caitlyn was the only ADC that would restrict his strategy.

Next, it was time for the opposing side to ban.

Misaya was feeling surprised as the opposition had actually banned Twitch!!!

Misaya went out earlier and naturally didn’t know that Baby had won without doing a thing because of Xiao Ran’s Jungler Twitch.

Hence, Misaya was rather confused and didn’t know what was going on?

“Host 6666, the opposition actually didn’t use all three bans for Misaya and had left one for host!!!”

“Wahahaha, if the opposition finds out that my great Kun Sun is playing support for Baby later, they will probably cry to death!!”

“That is true. They had wasted a ban for nothing. Without a doubt, Leader Nose is going to pick LeBlanc.”

“Kun Shen’s Jungler Twitch is truly 6666 and it deserves a ban!!”

Xiao Ran scratched his head and laughed shyly, “Hehe, I am truly ashamed! I am very gratified to receive such a response from the opposition. But later on, I will let them know that leaving just a single ban for this host is simply not enough!”

After the ban phase, the pick phase had started.

As the team had already picked their champions in advance, the picking speed was extremely fast and it was almost like instant picking.

When both sides’ champions were selected, only Xiao Ran’s support had not been picked yet.

“What are you picking for support?” Baby asked curiously before giving him a suggestion, “Why don’t you pick Alistar? How good is your WQ combo?”

Chen He expressed his opinion, “Thresh is the best support for Jinx, but it is very rare to see a Thresh that is very 6.”

Misaya also made a suggestion, “Why don’t you pick Braum? He is innately tanky and even has the shield and his ultimate ability for team fighting. If your Q is accurate, it will be very powerful with Jinx’s minigun.”

Suggestions from Baby, Chen He, and Misaya were all very good, but Xiao Ran had ignored them completely.

Xiao Ran’s cursor moved swiftly and found the champion he wanted to pick in the massive champion pool.

Subsequently, his teammates, Baby, Misaya, Chen He, and Liu Siyu were all flabbergasted. They couldn’t believe their eyes as Xiao Ran instantly picked that female champion!

“F**k, what are you doing host?”

“Kun Shen, are you unhappy and randomly picking a champion?”

“66666, you aren’t giving a hint of respect to Chen He and Baby. It seems like this match is going to be a duo jungler!”

“Host, are you trying to make Baby so angry until she cries?”

“Unsubscribe!! Unsubscribe!! Host is simply messing around!”

“Estimation of a massive unsubscription in progress…”

…

“Everyone, don’t do it!” Xiao Ran nearly cried.

These viewers were his bread and butter!

The monetary benefits from these people are actually secondary, most importantly, this brother needs all of you to boost my worship points!!!

“Everyone don’t be rash. I picked this champion to play support. I am really playing support, all of you have to trust me!!!”
