Ch74 - Temporarily Ranked First in Total Points

Edited by kat

The first match: Erangel, with the flight route going northeast to southwest.

As soon as they got on the plane, Caster Chunxi began to guess. “This flight path is pretty close to Military Base, and we see that a team has already jumped to the Ruins, while BIG and another team have gone to Yasnaya Polyana. Sure enough, it’s the same great style as before!”

When their voices fell, the camera switched to BIG.

“We can see that QAQ chose the School!” Compared with the newcomer caster Chunxi, Half was obviously excited. “Back when Angry was in M1G, he was a very excellent player. I was also very sorry when he announced his retirement.”

Chunxi added, “Yes, we can see that not only is the audience here very excited, but the audience watching the livestream is also very excited ah, like this netizen…

“Angry Gege is the strongest. Yes, God A is really strong.”

“En, yes, and we can see that God A and Cold have gone together. Compared with the others ah, the School is the center of this route, and the next safety zone is likely to be centered on the School.”

“Yes, and they say Cold is also a rookie player. Here is a simple explanation for everyone: Cold was originally a professional game anchor. God A was also very bold, daring to directly use a rookie. We can’t underestimate Cold, as he is a player with a high ranking in the Korean servers! Cold and EGGK have come face to face!”

The camera switched from the overall QAQ team to Xu Leng’s personal perspective.

At the competition seats——

“There’s two on my side.” Xu Leng leaned out of the window from time to time, very obviously observing the surrounding situation for Shen Qi.

Shen Qi was picking things up quickly. At present, he had an M416 and a Mini.

“I’ll go around here.”

Ye Lai and Lu Tun crouched next door, searching for things and listening for footsteps.

EGGK’s entire team had landed in the School, and obviously wanted to occupy the favorable location in advance.

But there were several teams near the School, which would probably lead to the earliest battle.

Shen Qi’s voice had just sounded not long ago when a member of the EGGK team was shot to half health by him and rushed out of the room next to Shen Qi.

“This guy is really sneaky ah, sneakier than He Bin,” Lu Tun complained.

Shen Qi laughed. “This person is new to EGGK. He found the wrong team, and I suggest he switch to BIG.”

He Bin, who was struggling in Yasnaya Polyana, sneezed.

“Captain, do you have a cold? I have someone on my side.” BIG’s WSS (Wen Shuang) was a bit concerned.

He Bin squinted. “No.”

He reloaded and said, “Angry is probably cursing me out.”

“Ah? Captain, you mean EGGK can’t match his sneakiness?”

Xu Leng looked at the kill prompt that popped up in the upper-right corner of the screen with a confused expression.

[QAQ-Angry knocked down EGGK-bzyy1 with a frag grenade]

“In regards to sneakiness, probably no one can match the captain himself,” Lu Tun helped to supplement.

Shen Qi had deliberately created the illusion that he left with the sound of his footsteps, and then threw a grenade out of the window when the man was about to jump through the window.

He had been directly blown up before he could even land.

Shen Qi chuckled and clicked his mouse. “I’m alright. Bro, I’ll be taking this kill first.”

Standing at the back, the corner of Lu Ziye’s mouth pulled up, and he met the gaze of the referee who also had his mouth quirked up.

The conversation between contestants in the competition would be recorded the entire time, but the main organizer was a bit more evil, and might randomly select some conversation as a gift for fans.

He had told them before they came to be careful not to draw aggro when talking.

“The first kill belongs to God A! Sure enough, God A is as powerful as ever! Please show me God A and let me have a close look at God A’s beautiful face,” Chunxi teased.

The director switched the camera back to BIG at this time.

After QAQ fired the first shot, BIG also started fighting on their side.

But both opponents were “hiding” more.

Half answered, “The director very much doesn’t want to realize your wish. BIG is sneaky as always. Alright, Weapon can take the opposite side’s head.”

His words fell, and sure enough, a knockdown and kill prompt popped up in the upper-right hand corner of the screen.

BIG also got a kill point.

On QAQ’s side, after EGGK lost one player, EGGK’s other members began to disperse.

LAND took one kill point, TUN took one kill point, and Angry scored two kill points. EGGK was completely eaten and became the first of the 16 teams to be eliminated.

At the same time, the way the wind was blowing in the livestream’s barrage also began to change.

[QAQ is awesome ah, this newcomer is actually okay]

[I’ve seen the training video released by the Turkey team before. Cold’s skills are okay and have been growing this entire time]

[QAQ is awesome! They got four points! First place in Group A is assured!]

[Previous poster, don’t brag, okay? You can only get four points by meeting a bottom tier team like EGGK]

[Stupid thing, how is EGGK bottom tier? They were in the top five teams of the Summer Trials. Don’t you feel ashamed, being the first team eliminated]

[……]

Competition seat——

“Someone came out of the Ruins.” Compared with his previous panic, Xu Leng had already calmed down a lot.

Shen Qi switched to the 98K and manipulated his avatar to turn around in place, answering Xu Leng.

“This circle is good.”

The safety zone shrank, and the School was in the center of the new safety zone.

The game had lasted 15 minutes, and there were still 15 teams.

QAQ’s score was still at four points.

When the game had gone for 20 minutes, BIG left Yasnaya Polyana.

Members from many teams began to get eliminated.

There were 13 teams left on the field.

The casters were obviously more excited than the players.

BIG went to the School and was bound to fight with QAQ.

As the two teams most likely to win first place in Group A, this fight was very important.

Even the director began to switch the camera back and forth between QAQ and BIG.

Xu Leng set aside his mouse and keyboard and drank some water to calm down, wiping his palms on his pants.

“I’m a little nervous.”

Shen Qi let out an “en,” glanced through a 4x scope at the car BIG was driving over, and with one shot, blew out one of their tires.

“Nervous for what? Compared with He Bin, my skills are much better than his. Look at his garbage driving skills, I managed to hit his tire in one shot.

“Is it that you don’t trust your captain or you don’t trust your teammates?”

Xu Leng held his mouse again and put his left hand back on the keyboard.

“They can even drive with a single wheel ah?” Lu Tun aimed at them. “There is also a three-wheeled motorcycle in the back.”

Shen Qi laughed and aimed again.

“This aim of God A’s 98K is really strong, and I’m not exaggerating,” Half spoke in an excited manner, “Half of the tires of BIG’s two cars have come off, which is making it difficult for them to drive in from so far away.”

Chunxi said, “Like this, Weapon’s driving skills are still very good. Their car is in that state, but it didn’t flip over. BIG has entered the house!”

“QAQ went around! Are they getting ready to directly attack the house?! The car was blown up!!!”

“Shit, it’s too aggressive to attack the house! Cold threw a grenade. ” Chunxi slapped the table. “No, no, no, this is treating this house as a bombing area!!!”

“Let’s not get too excited. If we smash the caster desk, we’ll have to pay for it.” Half eased the atmosphere. “They exploded one!!! BIG’s Ginger was killed! God A and TUN have rushed in!”

“Please switch the camera to Cold’s personal view, I want to see exactly how many grenades he’s picked up.”

The director really switched the camera accordingly.

Xu Leng didn’t have many bullets; it seemed that he wasn’t the main attacking force.

But he still had two more grenades!

“Wait, Weapon has an S686! My god, this is something! They’re trading one for one! Cold fell to the ground!”

At the key moment, the director switched the camera.

There was also a fight on the road from Pochinki to the School.

[??? WTF, I even took off my pants and you switched the perspective?]

[Can’t this f*cker give each team a shot on the screen like during the finals, so we can watch whoever we want to watch! Do you want to anger people to death by switching the camera at a key moment?]

[QAQ is awesome! QAQ fight on!]

The upper right corner refreshed.

[QAQ-Cold killed BIG-Ginger with a frag grenade]

[BIG-Weapon knocked down QAQ-Cold with an S686]

[QAQ-Angry knocked down BIG-Weapon with an M416]

[QAQ-TUN knocked down BIG-WSS with an AKM]

[BIG-ChenY knocked down QAQ-LAND with an M416]

[QAQ-Angry knocked down BIG-ChenY with an M416]

[QAQ-Angry killed BIG-ChenY with an M416]

“Two lives exchanged for three! Let’s see if BIG’s Weapon will have the chance to counterattack with two against one! If the counterattack is successful, he can pull someone up! Oh, he can’t pull them up anymore, as God A directly killed them! This wave is too wonderful! We just didn’t see the action.”

Shen Qi placed a lollipop in his mouth. “Can you do it ah, Little Tuntun?”

“Idol, men can’t say they can’t do it.”

The lollipop in his mouth twitched. “Then I’ll go up, so protect your idol well ah. Gege is still waiting for your idol to return in triumph ne.”

With that, he rushed directly into the stairway where He Bin was.

The stairway was an advantageous location.

If He Bin stayed there the entire time and they didn’t go up, it would be very hard for them to take care of everyone.

Lu Tun: ….

Even this could be placed on Male God?

He still agreed, “Understood, preparing to throw.

“3, 2, 1.”

“I can’t breathe! God A has gone up the stairs! He’s blindly shooting at him! They directly threw in a flash grenade! The sound of the M4 is wonderful!

“Weapon’s S686 is also shooting!”

“Half Ge, do you need quick-acting heart saving pills?” Chunxi handed Half a cup of water.

Two seconds later, a prompt popped up in the upper-right corner.

QAQ successfully exchanged one member for four.

LAND had been downed but was pulled up.

This wave was over, and the barrage in the livestream had already gone crazy.

[QAQ IS AWESOME!!! I WILL ALWAYS LOVE QAQ!]

[AAAAHHHHHHHH I WILL ALWAYS LOVE GOD A!!! FUCK I LOVE THEM!]

[I’ve gone crazy! That wave was so cool ah! Begging the officials to act human and not randomly cut away, okay?]

[Stupid, even if you don’t want to watch other teams, other people still do. Is the competition for just QAQ?]

There was also a burst of cheers at the venue.

Although the first match had not ended, this maneuver of successfully exchanging one person for four made the atmosphere heat up.

Although they had only seen a little bit of the end of the four vs. four battle, that maneuver of Angry going upstairs and cooperating to blindly shoot at him was very beautiful!

Fu Mingyuan’s hand holding his cellphone tightened, and he lowered his head again to read the barrage on the cellphone.

After a while, he quit the livestream, jumped into Cyber Sweetie’s livestream, and began to spam gifts.

Because Shen Qi hadn’t livestreamed in a long time, there were probably just some bots lurking there.

A wave of gifts went in, and no one said a word, but the gifts still attracted over a group of people.

“Oh my god, my eyes are glistening with tears.” Du Jing wiped his tears. “God A is too great ba, and QAQ is also too great ba.”

Fu Mingyuan paused while spamming gifts, raised his head, and silently looked at him for a while. “What did you come here for?”

Du Jing: ?

“Didn’t you ask me to come to cover for you?”

Fu Mingyuan let out an “en” and said, “Then cover for me.

“You talk too much.”

Du Jing: …..?

What are you talking about? I was just excited for a moment, does it deserve that reaction from you?!

“The MVP of this maneuver should be Cold? He threw the grenades so beautifully, and wasn’t BIG thrown into a panic just from him throwing stuff?” The atmosphere calmed down, as the game was still going on normally, and Half continued to explain things.

“Hahaha, that has to be determined by the officials. This time, the camera has cut to…”

The first game ended in 30 minutes.

QAQ’s kill score was 10, ranking second.

In total points, they temporarily ranked first.
