Chapter 1

Outside the film city, numerous extras gathered like fish crossing a river, clustering in twos and threes, waiting for the group leader to call them for filming.
Those who had a good relationship with the group leader naturally had nothing to worry about. The other extras could only rely on their luck.
Wu Long opened his eyes and found himself sitting against a wall. As countless memories flooded in, he realized he had been transported to another world. He inherited this body, the same name, and all the memories and emotions of this body.
This world was very similar to the Earth of his previous life, with a history that was not much different. The only difference was that the poems, songs, films, TV shows, and novels from his previous life did not exist in this world.
Unfortunately, it was useless. Wu Long couldn't copy them even if he wanted to, as he didn't have the memory or the ability.
Novels, he would forget after reading them.
Songs, he could hum a few lines. But he was tone-deaf, didn't understand musical notation, and couldn't play any instruments. It was a waste of the benefits of being transported to this world.
In this world, Wu Long was a struggling extra. He had graduated from high school with no particular skills or talents. He came to the film city to be an extra, thinking his face was somewhat handsome and that he could become a star.
"Daydreaming, huh?" Wu Long muttered to himself. Without capital, background, professional training, or a rich patron, it was very difficult to stand out as an extra. Even if it happened, it would be rare.
There was one exception, and that was to have a system.
"Ha! The All-Round Martial Arts System (Entertainment Edition) has been successfully bound!"
"This system only performs, it does not kill!"
"The host can gain reputation points by attracting attention, and use these points to upgrade their profession or skills, or to purchase items from the store."
"Reputation points are gained based on the attention the host receives. Shock, amazement, love, hate, enmity, and insults can all increase attention and reputation points more quickly. Being infamous is also a form of fame, so the host need not be concerned."
Being criticized and insulted could actually increase reputation points. This was a good system, one that truly considered the host's needs from multiple angles.
As for why the martial arts system was the entertainment edition, who cared? Having a system was enough, and it was a golden finger.
"Newcomer gift: Complete set of basic martial arts!"
Martial arts fundamentals...
Wing Chun (Basic)...
Bajiquan (Basic)...

Hung Gar (Basic)...

...
The list of gifted martial arts was long. After receiving the complete set of basic martial arts, Wu Long's mind was filled with a wealth of martial arts knowledge and skills.
It was as if he suddenly remembered something, and his memory became clear. Everything came naturally to him.
The complete set meant that Wu Long knew the basics of all martial arts styles and had a certain level of proficiency in each.
In front of him, there was a virtual attribute panel that only he could see.
[Host: Wu Long]
[Profession: Actor (Action)]
[Items: None]
[Store: Not unlocked]
[Quests: None]
[Martial Arts: Complete set of basic martial arts (Newcomer gift)]
As Wu Long focused on his attribute panel, a person came out of the film city and clapped his hands to get the attention of the extras.
"Clap, clap, clap!"
The clapping sound attracted the attention of the extras.
Everyone saw that the person clapping was Sun Ji, a group leader who had good relationships with many production teams. He must have something good to offer, otherwise, he wouldn't need to make such a big fuss to gather the extras, who were as numerous as ants.
Seeing himself surrounded, Sun Ji frowned and shouted, "Everyone, spread out! Leave a clear space in front of me! Whoever doesn't listen will be put on my blacklist!"
With these words, the crowd immediately dispersed, leaving a clear space in front of him.
This was the authority of a group leader among the extras.
Sun Ji nodded, acknowledging the respect given to him.
"We need one ordinary martial artist. The director specifically emphasized that the person must have a martial arts background. So, if you don't have a martial arts background, don't come. Spread out and make room. If you have a martial arts background, come to the front."
As Sun Ji spoke, Wu Long heard the system's quest prompt:
"Congratulations, host, you have triggered a new quest!"
[Quest Name: The host's first appearance after obtaining the system.]
[Quest Objective: Obtain the qualification for the ordinary martial artist position announced by Sun Ji.]
[Quest Content: Use the line 'Everyone, get out of the way! To be honest, I'm not targeting anyone, but everyone here is trash!' as your opening statement to obtain the qualification. Completing the task will grant you one chance to draw a prize.]
[Hint: The host's first appearance after obtaining the system must be stunning. Your words must shock people to the core! You must make a grand entrance! A person who doesn't make a grand entrance in their youth is a waste of their youth, and a martial artist who doesn't strive for excellence is a waste of their training! With a system, you must be dominant. A life with a system doesn't need explanations! History will be written by the host!]
Wu Long was stunned. Was this a villain system? Such an entrance would make him the first villain in a novel.
Seeing such a task, Wu Long shook his head. If he really said those words, he would offend all the extras in the film city and likely be isolated in the future.
Wu Long covered his face, not expecting that having a system would still be so difficult.
Couldn't he have a system that made him a wealthy person who could spend money freely?
In the crowd of extras, voices rose one after another.
"Me!"
"I have a martial arts background!"
"I practice Wing Chun!"
"I practice Tai Chi!"
"I practice kickboxing!"
"I practice Muay Thai!"
...
The extras marveled at the hidden talents among them. In no time, over a dozen people stepped forward.
Some people, seeing these people step forward, thought to themselves, "With such skills, why are they just extras?"
Sun Ji looked at the extras who had stepped forward and said, "Line up one by one and show me your skills. I want to see who has real talent."
He was worried that someone might try to sneak in, and if the director found out they were a fake, his reputation would be ruined.
The extras immediately began to demonstrate their skills.
Sun Ji watched and found that they were all about the same, with flashy but superficial techniques. They should be able to get by.
The original martial artist in the production team was sick and couldn't perform, so they needed a temporary replacement. Even though it was a temporary ordinary martial artist, the director and martial arts director still had to approve.
The world of martial artists was not easy to navigate.
Just as Sun Ji was about to make a decision...
Suddenly, a low but incredibly arrogant voice came from outside the crowd.
"Everyone, get out of the way! To be honest, I'm not targeting anyone, but everyone here is trash!"
Such an arrogant voice immediately drew the ire of the crowd. They were all extras, so who was he looking down on?
Everyone turned to look at the source of the voice. They saw a person sitting against the wall, wiping his face.
He slowly raised his head.
When his face was fully revealed, a pair of defiant eyes scanned the crowd with an incredibly arrogant gaze.
"Damn! Who is this! So arrogant!"
"Is that Wu Long?" someone recognized him.
"Is that the Wu Long who hasn't gotten a role in three months?" someone remembered.
"I heard that if he doesn't pay the rent tomorrow, the landlord will kick him out?" someone gossiped.
"That's him, I live next to him," someone confirmed.
Wu Long was a nobody among the extras, and no one expected him to be so arrogant today. They couldn't understand why such a struggling extra would dare to be so...
Arrogant!
Aren't you afraid of being beaten to a pulp!
