After finishing a cigarette, Tang Zhun rubbed his forehead and opened his author backend after the launch. He was startled by a text message, "A contract message? So cool? The opening wasn't great, and the performance these few days has been terrible. The content didn't even catch my eye as an old bookworm, just lacking the ability to write brilliantly. I actually received a contract message after just over twenty thousand words?!"
It really was a contract message, the legendary backend message?!
Tang Zhun read it several times to make sure he wasn't seeing things before excitedly adding the editor's QQ number mentioned in the text. Everything was a new world, something he had never encountered in his previous life. However, it was already night, and Tang Zhun thought that even if he added the number, he probably wouldn't get a response until the next day.
Who would have thought that just after adding it, he received a response within ten minutes? Was the editor working overtime?
Fortunately, being reborn at thirty, he was still mature enough to calmly go through the contract process without much fuss. He hadn't even opened his book page yet. Since it wasn't too late, he went to print the contract. After finishing that, Tang Zhun returned to his computer and added the editor's QQ number.
Surprisingly, his application was approved immediately. Before he could say anything, the editor with the username "Canghai" sent a message.
"Are you Wenyizaidao? Finally meeting you in person, great god, hello!"
"..."
Is this the legendary editor from the industry's dominant company, known for being aloof? Did I add the wrong number? Tang Zhun looked at the QQ number given by the contract editor again and tentatively replied with a "Mm."
"Great god is indeed aloof."
"By the way, I'll add you to the author group, all urban fiction authors from our 6th group."
After Canghai quickly typed a line, Tang Zhun received a group invitation.
He entered the group in a daze, and as soon as he did, the group exploded.
"Damn, is this Wenyizaidao?"
"Wrong, we should call him Dao God, let's follow him!"
"Revering the great god, one day's income is equivalent to our whole year, please take care of us!"
...
Line after line of text and memes started flooding the screen after Tang Zhun joined the group. The speed of the messages was overwhelming, and at this point, he realized something was off.
Something must be wrong!
Confused, he opened his book page for the first time today. Tang Zhun was quickly stunned. The fan list was full, with the first one being a Gold Alliance member, a donation of over eleven million starting coins?
Apart from this Alliance member, the rest were simple, just a few apprentices and intern fans, a few hundred starting coins, a few dollars each.
Tang Zhun was dazed by the million-dollar Alliance member. After being stunned for several seconds, he drew a cold breath, "No way, could someone have already gained or experienced something from the related content of my uploaded work?"
"Too amazing, right?!"
His book review section had already exploded, with thousands of replies.
He was sure he didn't know the Gold Alliance member, Wang Dashua, who had donated over ten thousand and was kneeling to ask for his contact information, a book friend group?
Apart from Wang Dashua, there was no other explanation. He must be a genius, even in the future interstellar civilization, one in ten thousand.
Tang Zhun still found it hard to believe. His book only had a few dozen clicks, but when he left this morning, the book page only had a few dozen clicks. Now it had tens of thousands of clicks, without a contract or recommendation. The explosive clicks must have been attracted by Wang Dashua's million-dollar Alliance.
Before Wang Dashua, there was a super genius among the few dozen clicks who could feel something from the Dao rhythm combination in the related content.
Amidst the chaotic thoughts, Tang Zhun vaguely closed the group and temporarily blocked the messages. Even so, he still received seven or eight QQ pop-ups in a short time.
He didn't have the heart to deal with these and proactively added Wang Dashua's QQ number.
What Tang Zhun didn't expect was that his action made the 6th group urban fiction authors, over a hundred of them, explode again.
"Damn, Dao God? Haven't seen him bubble for so long."
"Canghai, was that really Dao God? You didn't add the wrong person, right?"
"So aloof? Even the cute god and the questioning god actively sought him out, and he didn't reply? The world is too cruel."
...
In the repeated flood of messages, over a hundred urban fiction authors, not to mention ordinary authors, even a few top-tier gods in the web fiction industry came to join the fun, showing all sorts of silly behavior.
But after so long, the person who joined the group had no reaction, which made many authors

"Great God, are you Great God? I'm Wang Dashua, no, Wang Dashua is my pen name on Qihang, my real name is Wang Jiyang."
"Great God, you finally added me. I've been waiting since last night, haven't slept at all, Great God, you..."
"Great God, I want to ask about the number combination in your related content, it's, well, I don't know how to say it, Great God, are you human?"
"Are you really human? Or a hidden immortal in the big city?"
...
What Zhang Lezhao didn't expect was that his incorrect assumptions, born from a series of misunderstandings, were actually quite accurate.
Tang Zhun was indeed a second generation, at least in this world. And Tang Zhun was indeed chatting with the Gold Alliance member, but after adding Wang Dashua's QQ number, Tang Zhun was quickly left speechless by the pop-ups.
Looking at the messages, Tang Zhun smacked his lips, suppressing his curiosity, and finally replied, "Thanks."
Apart from a thank you, he didn't know what to say.
Damn, am I human, an immortal? How should I reply? He possessed the literary power of an interstellar civilization, but it was also strange. That kind of literature was about sensing the natural laws of the universe and integrating those insights into words and articles. It seemed similar to cultivation?
So, this is quite bizarre.
