It would be about seven o’clock when Yu Chen returns. Did she want to go back to the room at this time to take a nap? Su Yuanyuan tilted her head as Xiaobei and her looked at each other for two seconds. Finally, she clapped her hands and decided to go to sleep, and her husband would wake her for dinner.

She kissed her two sons’ forehead, and then temporarily gave them to Sister Jing to take care of. She slipped back into her room.

The moment Su Yuanyuan got into the bed, she became anxious and drowsy. Within a minute she couldn’t keep her eyes open.

”No…” How could she be so sleepy? Su Yuanyuan realized that something was wrong. But at the time, her body became heavier and heavier, and her consciousness gradually blurred without control.

Su Yuanyuan’s last feeling before she fell asleep was that her body was light as if she was floating in the air.

Then she became unconscious.

*

As the sun rose slowly over the horizon, a beam of morning light shined into the bedroom. As time went by, the orange colour slowly crept from the floor to the corner of the bed.

In the bedroom in the middle of the bed, Su Yuanyuan, who was still dreaming, frowned anxiously. Suddenly she opened her eyes, breathing greedily like a suffocated person.

Her forehead was covered with beads of sweats. She didn’t seem to just wake up but was similar to those who did a lot of exercise.

Su Yuanyuan held her arms and sat up. Her fingers were resting against her temples as she felt dizzy.

The large curtains were wide and bright, filling the small European style bedroom. Her eyelids were not used to the darkness, “How come I slept all the way into the next day? Why did no one come to wake me?”

Her consciousness gradually returned, she looked around knowingly, and immediately panicked.

This was not her room at all! Where was this?

It was one third smaller than her previous bedroom, the room’s furniture could be counted on one hand, bed, lamp, and a wardrobe with a full-length mirror.

Besides these, Su Yuanyuan did not see any other home furnishing. leaving her inexplicably flustered and confused

Where was this place…..

When Su Yuanyuan climbed out of the bed and stood up. She felt that the sky was spinning and almost fainted. She sat on the bed again for a while before slowly regaining her strength.

Stepping barefoot on the cold marble hexagonal tiles, the full-length mirror reflected her figure.

!!!

Su Yuanyuan almost didn’t recognize who the person in the mirror was.

During her confinement, she formulated a weight loss plan, and every unsatisfied part of her body was listed on the table. (T/A: Confinement- It’s usually a tradition practice were the pregnant woman is confined after childbirth for a month or so)

Following the guidance of the dietitian and the trainer, she exercised reasonably. After four months, she recovered her pre-pregnancy figure, she also had a waistline on her abdomen.

First of all, the waistline that she had worked so hard has disappeared!

The nightdress was draped loosely over her body, she was so thin that she only had bones left. A gust of wind could blow her to the ground. The flesh under her cheekbones were also thin and recessed, and there were visible black circles under her eyes. The original jet-black and smooth seaweed hair had become withered and dull.

Although her face had not changed. Su Yuanyuan was unwilling to believe that the person in front of her was herself.

Su Yuanyuan gently touched her cheek with her hand. After confirming that she was real in the mirror, her eyes immediately turned red.

How did she become like this? Were all her living healthily with healthy habits fed to dogs!?!?

“Why am I like this?”

Su Yuanyuan felt that she could no longer look at herself in the mirror. She wanted to go out. Everything in this bedroom was too strange.

She opened the door Unfortunately, the world outside was too unfamiliar.

It seemed to be much smaller than her home, although it’s also a tiny villa, there were only two rooms on the second floor. One of them was the bedroom she just came out of, and the other room door was closed. She didn’t know what was inside.

Su Yuanyuan stood at the door, confused for a while, thinking that she should go downstairs to see what was going on. Just as she was about to go down the stairs, the door behind her suddenly opened. A woman with a pear-shaped figure came out.

The woman was about forty years old, with a dark complexion, and didn’t look like an Asian. She was shocked when she saw Su Yuanyuan, then she spat out a string of words: “#% ¥ @ & *!”

Su Yuanyuan paused for a moment, “Sorry, what did you just say?”

“¥ @ &% @ &!”

She: “……”

Su Yuanyuan did not give up and decided to ask her in other languages: “Can you speak English?”

The woman:” ¥% @% ¥ @! ”

I give up, goodbye.

She couldn’t understand a single word. The language was neither Asian, English, nor Russian. If it was an unknown language, she wouldn’t understand at all.

[1] The literal translation of this term is “big pig’s trotter.” This term is often used by women to complain about men who fail to keep their promises, fall in love with someone new, or are not considerate towards women. Although it has existed for a while, the term caught on in August after being used in the popular TV show “Story of Yanxi Palace.” The comparison may have come from another term “male chauvinist pig.” However, unlike the latter, this term is a light-hearted complaint, not a harsh accusation.
