“Go inside and sort things out. Make sure you don’t do anything stupid,” Ardal commanded while still embracing me.

The other paladins waiting outside looked at my body, stunned.

After being forced to do the night shift by the team leader, I returned home, exhausted.

“I’m exhausted.”

I had received a reward email while I was at work, but I didn’t have the time to check, which had made me anxious for the whole day. I headed straight to bed without washing up and checked my cell phone.
