The young girl pouted, thinking to herself that Xi Huzi had no idea of the danger. A monster that could escape from the Spirit Suppressing Pagoda on Liushifeng Peak was far beyond what a second-generation disciple of Xiandu Sect could handle! She was too lazy to speak up and stop him, choosing instead to watch the situation unfold. It was Sun Ergou who couldn't hold back and shouted, "That venomous python is not easy to deal with..." Qi Du smacked him on the head, and Sun Ergou had to swallow the rest of his words.

Deng Yuantong glanced at him and said calmly, "Junior Brother, don't worry." Qi Du was from Kunlun and of the same generation as Xi Huzi. His disciple, though young, should be addressed as Junior Brother.

The cemetery was filled with a heavy, oppressive aura, utterly desolate. Deng Yuantong's right shoulder trembled, and a green light shone as a three-foot-long flying sword emerged from its sheath, its sharpness evident.

Qi Du exclaimed in surprise, feeling quite taken aback. Sun Ergou was envious, pulling on his sleeve and asking, "Master, how is that flying sword?"

"That's the Green Bee Sword of Xiandu. Look closely; a refined soul is sealed within the sword."

Deng Yuantong heard this and secretly sneered. The Dao embryo in his dantian vibrated, and the Wood Qi of Yi Wood surged into the flying sword like a river into the sea. The green light grew increasingly brilliant, and the sword trembled violently. A shadow resembling a hornet, about the size of a fist, suddenly flew up, circling above the cemetery. It seemed to have discovered something and plunged into the ground.

Moments later, the cemetery erupted in chaos. Stone markers toppled, and bones flew everywhere. A huge, beautiful woman with a snake's lower body emerged from the ground. Her upper body was that of a naked woman, her left eye closed and her right eye open, a cold smile on her lips. Her long hair covered her chest, and her breasts were barely visible. Her waist was slender, and below it was a colorful snake body, coiled tightly.

The green shadow circled the snake body, occasionally stinging it. The beautiful python seemed unaware and shouted at the Kunlun Sect's young girl, "Ruan Jing, Grandma has fled here, and you still won't let go, determined to exterminate me!"

A woman with a snake's lower body, just like the legendary Zhao Ling'er! Wei Shizheng held his breath, remembering that Grandma's grandson had died by Qi Du's sword. Apart from being larger, it was no different from an ordinary python, probably because it hadn't practiced long enough to form a beautiful upper body.

Deng Yuantong urged the Green Bee Sword, which transformed into a green beam and shot straight at the python's throat, as fast as a shooting star. Grandma opened her small mouth and spewed a cloud of crimson poison. The Green Bee Sword entered the poison, as if caught by an invisible hand, trembling and unable to advance.

Sun Ergou couldn't help but shout, "Be careful, the python's poison can damage the flying sword!"

Deng Yuantong tried to recall the Green Bee Sword using a sword technique, but Grandma suddenly extended two white arms, firmly grasping the sword and spewing more poison. The Green Bee Sword let out mournful cries, its green light fading, and its spirit greatly diminished.

Seeing the initial setback, Wei Shizheng couldn't help but glance at Xi Huzi, who still looked listless, as if he were either confident or resigned.

The beautiful python spewed two more clouds of poison, looking somewhat weakened. The hornet-like shadow, however, dove into the poison, quickly absorbing it all. The Green Bee Sword, freed from its restraint, struggled and flew back to Deng Yuantong, circling around him. Grandma's hands were injured, blood streaming, and her bones exposed.

Wei Shizheng's sharp eyes noticed that the shadow had become more concentrated, and he could vaguely see its mouth and stinger.

Qi Du explained to Sun Ergou, "The Green Bee Sword contains the residual soul of a Green Iron Hornet, which is fond of poison. The python's poison is a rare delicacy for it."

Sun Ergou, eager to learn, asked, "So the Green Bee Sword is the python's nemesis?"

"Not exactly. While the Green Iron Hornet is immune to the poison, the Green Bee Sword is still damaged."

Before he could finish, the hornet's soul transformed into a green light and re-entered the Green Bee Sword, restoring its spirit and even surpassing its former state.

Sun Ergou looked at his master innocently, his lips moving as if to speak. Qi Du was taken aback, then chuckled, praising, "Indeed, it's a fine sword!"

Deng Yuantong urged the Green Bee Sword again, aiming for the python's eyes, nose, and throat. Seeing that the poison was ineffective, Grandma extended her snake body and lashed out with her tail, clashing with the sword, producing a metallic sound.

The python's scales were as hard as iron, and the Green Bee Sword's strength lay in the sealed soul. The sword itself was average, not particularly sharp. Deng Yuantong, being Wood-affiliated, used Yi Wood Qi to drive the sword, which was far less effective in combat than Metal or Fire. He couldn't break through the snake scales in a hurry.

Grandma, an old demon from the Spirit Suppressing Pagoda, had experienced countless battles. Seeing her opponent's sword was ineffective, she pounced on Deng Yuantong, her left eye, which had been closed, suddenly opening to reveal a bizarre double pupil. Deng Yuantong, caught off guard, was dazed and unable to dodge.

The python was incredibly strong, capable of breaking a tree with a single tail strike. If it got close, ten Deng Yuantongs would be dead. Xi Huzi sighed, pointed his finger, and a sword beam shot from his sleeve. Grandma was terrified and tried to dodge, but it was too late. The sword pierced her left eye, exited through the back of her head, circled around, and returned to Xi Huzi's sleeve.

Deng Yuantong, coming to his senses, was drenched in cold sweat. If not for the Sect Master's intervention, he would have been a wisp of soul under the snake's bite.

Though not fatally wounded, Grandma's hidden move was thwarted by Xi Huzi's sword. She coiled her snake body around her vulnerable upper body, waiting for an opportunity.

Xi Huzi, still recovering from his injuries, had only one powerful strike left. If the python discovered this and charged forward, he would have to retreat. Deng Yuantong, who had only recently mastered sword control, was no match for the old demon. He had to bow to Ruan Jing and said with a bitter smile, "I'm ashamed, Immortal Ruan. My disciple is no match. Please lend a hand."

Ruan Jing replied, "Sect Master Xi broke its 'Soul Capturing Eye.' The rest is up to Senior Brother Qi."

Qi Du laughed and extended his right hand, a bright short sword shooting from his palm. It circled once and transformed into a faint white light. In one strike, it pierced the python's body. The python stood up, spewing a cloud of poison that condensed into a solid form, rushing at Qi Du.

Deng Yuantong fully activated the Green Bee Sword, and the Green Iron Hornet emerged, sucking in the poison and then disappearing into the sword, as if drunk. Qi Du took advantage of this to sever the python's right arm. Grandma, in pain, rolled on the ground, her tongue flicking out, her single eye flashing with a fierce light. She moved like the wind, faster than before, ignoring Qi Du and coiling her tail around Deng Yuantong, spewing a cloud of poison.

Deng Yuantong struggled with all his might but was no match for the python's strength. Reacting quickly, he held his breath and turned his head. The Green Bee Sword flew back, blocking the python's mouth. Unfortunately, the Green Iron Hornet, having absorbed too much poison, was in a deep sleep and unresponsive.

Seeing the poison about to hit his face, Ruan Jing moved swiftly, catching the poison in her left hand, which turned into a crimson droplet. With her right hand, she swept over the python's forehead, and a flash of sword light appeared. The python's left eye bled, its right eye wide open, and it fell to the ground, limp.

Wei Shizheng's heart trembled. He clearly saw that the last image in Grandma's single eye was his own. What kind of obsession made her so fixated?

Deng Yuantong, Xi Huzi, Qi Du, and Ruan Jing all took action, and it took the combined efforts of four people to slay the python. If not for the severe injuries she sustained while protecting her grandson when escaping the Spirit Suppressing Pagoda, leaving her with less than a tenth of her original power, Grandma would have had no fear of a few mediocre flying swords.

Qi Du sliced open the python's abdomen, retrieving a snake gallbladder, which he solemnly handed to Ruan Jing. She flipped her left hand, revealing a jade box, and placed the gallbladder inside, then disappeared. Wei Shizheng noticed a wax-yellow jade bracelet on her wrist, crystal-clear and lustrous, with a subtle glow, likely a storage bracelet.

He couldn't look closely and turned his attention to the python's corpse. Snakes were valuable, with meat for eating, gallbladders for medicine, and skin for drums. This demon, having reached the stage of enlightenment, should have a demon core. But why did Qi Du take only the gallbladder and leave the core?
