Chapter 1

Previously in the chapters of *Sword Dynasty*, it was mentioned that there was a major event that had not been announced, and this event is *Xianxia World*.
In the past, during the serialization period, I would write about many other things, such as the *Legend of the Immortals* and *Zero Era* by The9, *QQ Immortal* by Tencent, and later *Gu Jian Qi Tan* and the recent *Throne of the Gods*. There were also many other unannounced cooperative projects. All these writings added up to a significant amount, but true dual serialization had never been attempted.
This project began planning a year ago. At the time, I collected opinions from everyone on WeChat and Weibo, asking which style of my books people liked the most. The results showed that *Xianmo Bian* and *Tongtian Zhi Lu* were the most favored.
Later, the publication of *Ice and Fire Destroyer* encountered some issues, and the game was delayed until it finally began operating on Zongheng. During the final stages of updating *Ice and Fire Destroyer*, I was given some time to try writing *Sword Dynasty*, which lasted for three months.
If I were to roughly divide my novels into two types, one type would be slightly more serious, such as *Luofu*, *Xianmo Bian*, and the current *Sword Dynasty*. The other type would be more relaxed and entertaining, such as the *Rogue Expert* series, *Tongtian Zhi Lu*, and *Ice and Fire Destroyer*.
Those three months of buffer time gave me many opportunities to experiment. Writing novels like *Luofu*, *Xianmo Bian*, and *Sword Dynasty* requires a lot of effort in the early stages, particularly in plotting and refining the atmosphere of each chapter, as well as laying the groundwork for future developments. This type of writing is very slow, and each chapter feels like a significant drain, as if I am immersed in a high-level confrontation, depleting my energy and spirit. However, when writing novels like *Rogue Expert* and *Tongtian Zhi Lu*, I feel very relaxed and can write much faster. *Rogue Expert* was updated with at least three chapters daily, and I wrote 3.6 million words of *Tongtian Zhi Lu* in one year. During those three months, I tried alternating between the two styles.
The results were very satisfying. After the meticulous and thoughtful writing of *Sword Dynasty*, writing *Xianxia World* was very relaxing and allowed me to feel more at ease.
However, dual serialization is not something that can be done on a whim. Without long-term serialization trials, it's impossible to know if it will lead to mental exhaustion or become a burden after a month or two.
So, after *Ice and Fire Destroyer* ended, I spent almost half a year testing.
The entire process took about nine months, with continuous writing.
Therefore, I have mentioned many times in the chapters of *Sword Dynasty* that I have been working harder than ever in the past two years, writing more than ever.
I have explained how diligent I have been, and now I will explain why I did this and why I felt it was necessary.
From the beginning, I planned to write *Sword Dynasty* for two and a half to three years because the structure and style of the book make it impossible to write quickly. The story of seven dynasties rising and falling, with countless masters influencing events, is vast and intricate. Writing a story I love over two to three years, while striving to meet my own standards, will be a long journey, and I will likely miss many things during this period.
In today's era, it's not enough to survive with just a PC. Whether fame comes before a masterpiece or vice versa, everyone has their own thoughts. However, in the current environment of rising film, animation, and gaming industries, only a concerted effort across all fronts can prevent an author from being left behind.
*Sword Dynasty* will be a multi-platform work, with animations, films, and games. However, due to its style, the content will develop slowly, so these projects will also take some time to reach the audience.
*Xianxia World* will come first!
*Xianxia World* will be a major multi-platform project that will launch soon!
During the nine-month preparation period, I have done a lot of work, and everything is ready!
The animation of *Xianxia World* will be produced by *Anime Home* and is expected to debut within a few months.
The film adaptation of *Xianxia World* will be produced by *Tianyu Media*, which produced *Tiny Times*, and the web series will be produced by *Beijing Juhuo Image*. Both will be large-scale productions, with the web series meeting the standards of high-budget TV series. The special effects will be handled by BASE, the company behind *Pacific Rim*. The web series is expected to debut as early as September next year.
The game *Xianxia World 2* will be developed by Giant Network and will also be available to the public after September next year.
Those who have read my interviews or seen my interviews know that my dream and ambition have always been to make our fantasy and xianxia as competitive as Western fantasy and magic.
I don't want the Chinese people to only watch Japanese anime, *The Lord of the Rings*, *Harry Potter*, and so on. Our imagination and content are not inferior, and our culture has a long and rich history. Why should our flying swords be any less impressive than brooms?
We have the content; what we lack is a mature market.
Some paths, even if the first people to tread them don't look good, still need to be taken.
Since I have the ability and can achieve it with effort, why shouldn't I try?
This will be the first true dual serialization!
It might also be the first major multi-platform project to be released quickly!
I will reveal it with you!
All my readers, please continue to support me and fight with me!
Let's create a grand *Sword Dynasty* and open up a grand *Xianxia World*!
