Chapter 36

On a dark and windy night, a lone man and a single woman.
Long Yi's gaze roamed over Erin's body; this girl was completely unguarded! What did this mean, that good men fix computers while bad men do things in bed, and if the computer is fixed well, the good man remains good forever?
Calm down!
As a highly educated, high-quality, and highly skilled person, he shouldn't be so impulsive, but why had he been unable to control himself lately when he saw Erin? He was a virgin, not an animal, so why was he reacting like this?
Suddenly, a face appeared in Long Yi's memory.
It was the face of the elf dragon language teacher.
Long Yi clearly remembered that the elf had once cast a charm on him, and it had even succeeded. The result of that charm almost made Long Yi lose his composure. However, the charm was interrupted halfway through by Long Yi's willpower.
If that was the case, could it be that he was still under the influence?
Just today, he had learned mental control techniques, so why not check?
Saying what he would do, Long Yi entered his mental space and immediately discovered a small pink flower deep within his mental energy. Although it wasn't large, it was deeply rooted in Long Yi's mental energy. When he tried to touch it, various alluring scenes filled his mind, all of which were of Erin.
Strangely, this flower was not formed by the elf's power; its essence was actually dragon power!
Dragon power and giant power were of the same origin, almost identical, so Long Yi hadn't felt any abnormality.
What was this elf teacher up to?
Long Yi almost wanted to rush out and confront the elf teacher, but he didn't act impulsively. After carefully studying the pink flower, he discovered that it had actually come from his own fingertips!
Fingertips?
What was that?
Wait, who had touched my fingertips?
Only that little fairy dragon!
Dragon power, fairy dragon. Oh no, could it be this fairy dragon?
Long Yi was completely stunned.
Long Yi tossed and turned in bed, but how could Erin sleep?
As a girl, she knew how alluring her current state was. Her eyes were wide open, and her face was as red as a big apple. She hadn't intentionally posed to seduce Long Yi; she just hadn't noticed until it was too late to change.
In the past, Erin had only thought Long Yi was reliable. But after sharing her dragon blood, whenever she stood next to Long Yi, she always felt an extreme sense of calm. Even when Long Yi had seen through her for the first time, she hadn't shown the usual fear that most girls would.
Could it be...
Thinking of this, Erin's face turned even redder.
Would Long Yi come to her in the night...
Ah! What am I thinking!
Long Yi had no idea about all this. He almost spent the whole night with his eyes wide open, only falling asleep when the sky began to lighten.
After an unknown amount of time, Long Yi felt the light in front of him flicker, and he woke up groggily. He saw Erin drying clothes on the balcony, and those clothes were all Long Yi's.
"You're awake." Erin walked in with a large basin, smiling. The morning sun cast a halo behind her.
"What time is it?" Long Yi shook his head, which was a bit sore.
"Before seven." Erin said.
"Only two hours?" Long Yi shook his arm in confusion. "It feels like I've slept for days."
"That's right, you've slept for two days." Erin continued.
"Ah?"
No wonder, his strength was completely restored, and his body didn't hurt at all. Most incredibly, Long Yi felt that his dragon aura had already reached the seventh level. But to have slept for two days, he must be really weak, right?
"Hey, Pigsy, are you still alive?"
Long Yi asked the pile of meat lying beside him.
Pigsy opened one eye and grunted.
"Oh, Erin made you food, did you thank her? You did? Good boy!"
Erin watched Long Yi's conversation as if he were talking to a child, finding it very warm and cozy.
Long Yi got up, washed, and detoxified, then prepared to go to the cafeteria for some food. Just as he was about to open the door, a powerful force pushed the door open.
Bang!
Long Yi, with his quick reflexes, blocked the door with one hand, revealing half his face to the three people outside.
Refined, stern, and dark-skinned. Killing intent, and a hint of arrogance. In a moment, Long Yi grasped all their characteristics. Seeing the emblem on their chests, he knew who they were.
"Are you here to collect rent?"
The honest Long Yi asked innocently.
"Move!"
The leader frowned and pushed again.
Crack!
The solid wooden door was dented by his hand, but it didn't budge.
"See, if you don't tell me what you're here for, I'll call for help."
Long Yi maintained his innocent look, but the other side already knew that this honest face wasn't as simple as it seemed.
The man opposite him snorted, and his dragon aura was about to rise. But then he heard Erin's voice from inside: "Brother Long, that's my Uncle Rand, let him in."
Long Yi chuckled, opened the door, and stepped aside. The three men looked at Long Yi with cold, dead eyes, while Long Yi looked at them with joy, as if they were monkeys.
"Miss, you're really here, and what are you wearing? This is... Miss, is someone forcing you to stay here?"
Rand looked at Erin with dissatisfaction. He glanced at Long Yi, not believing that the innocent and well-behaved Erin would dress so provocatively on her own. If Erin gave a signal, the three of them would immediately pounce and beat Long Yi to a pulp, then take him back to the general's mansion for trial.
Erin shook her head forcefully and said, "Uncle Rand, no one is forcing me, you don't need to worry."
Rand's gaze swept over Long Yi and returned to Erin. "Miss, we are here to escort you back on the orders of the master. The master heard that you have recovered and is very happy. He has set up a banquet at the general's mansion to celebrate, and the Third Prince has accepted the invitation. The master hopes you will return home for the banquet. We have already taken leave for you, and we will travel with the Third Prince. Please come with us now."
Long Yi listened, feeling a bit sympathetic. Life in a noble family wasn't easy, especially with such a strict grandfather who didn't allow any room for negotiation. Living near such a person would surely lead to problems.
Erin lowered her head and listened quietly. After Rand finished speaking, she didn't raise her head for a long time.
"Please come with us now!"
Rand repeated, and the two men beside him stepped forward, ready to use force.
"I won't go."
Erin finally raised her head and said softly.
"What?"
Rand thought he had heard wrong.
"I said, I won't go." Erin's voice became firmer. "Please tell Grandfather that I am a student at the Dragon Knight Academy and cannot leave at will. I will not attend that banquet."
Erin was more determined than ever. She was tired of the endless banquets and flattery. If she had once enjoyed it, the days when she was a genius and then became a waste had made her see through everything.
She didn't want to return to that life.
"Is he threatening you?"
Rand finally turned his attention back to Long Yi.
"Hey, buddy, I've been very tolerant of you barging into my dorm, but don't think you can act tough just because you're dark-skinned. I'm taller than you, and I haven't looked down on you."
Rand was taken aback; he hadn't expected this boy to have the nerve to stand up to him!
At that moment, one of the men beside Rand suddenly threw a punch, without using dragon aura. He thought a first-year student at the Dragon Knight Academy would be easy to handle. Long Yi, however, chuckled, grabbed the man's arm, and twisted it. With a crack, the man's shoulder dislocated.
"Buddy, have you been out of practice for too long?"
Long Yi asked with a smile.
The other man beside Rand didn't say a word and attacked, also without using dragon aura. But almost simultaneously, Long Yi grabbed and twisted his arm, and with another crack, the man's shoulder dislocated.
"Stop!"
Rand shouted, and his two subordinates immediately stopped. They shook their shoulders, and the dislocated joints returned to place without a wince.
"Good!"
Even Long Yi praised them sincerely. Their quick actions and strict obedience made them excellent warriors.
"You're Long Yi, right?"
Rand asked.
"I am Long Yi."
Long Yi answered.
"I don't know what you've said or done to the Miss, but as the adjutant of General Kailong, I formally warn you, Mr. Long Yi. From now on, please stay away from the Miss. I don't want to see you in any direction around her. This is not a threat, as it could very well endanger your life. Now, you can leave here."
Rand stared into Long Yi's eyes, making a clear threat.
Long Yi smiled, looking at the other side calmly but not backing down.
"Actually, I never intended to get involved in your family affairs. Whether Erin stays or leaves is not something I plan to interfere with." Long Yi said, "But what I find strange is that you three, without my permission, barged into my dorm, verbally threatened me, and even attacked me. Now, you're threatening my life and telling me to leave my dorm."
As he spoke, Long Yi took a step forward, towering over Rand.
"I don't understand, in the empire's laws, even the emperor himself doesn't have such arrogance. You three are just a general's subordinates, yet you've violated several imperial laws. Instead of fleeing, you're still standing here, expecting me to kneel and lick your boots?"
Long Yi's expression was honest, but his words didn't let the other side have any advantage. He might not be good at arguing, but he was good at reasoning.
Rand knew that Long Yi was right. When the Dragon Knight Academy was established, the emperor had issued an order that the academy should remain pure. Anyone, whether emperor or commoner, entering the academy must follow its rules.
This had never been violated, not even by the emperor.
That's why Rand had said so much, and why his subordinates hadn't used dragon aura.
But how many people dared to bring this up when facing authority?
Long Yi was one of those people. He not only beat Rand's subordinates but also stood up to Rand.
Rand looked at Long Yi, knowing he had encountered someone who wasn't afraid to die.
But not being afraid to die didn't mean he wouldn't die. Rand knew that General Kailong's orders were absolute, and even if he had to kill this big guy, he had to take Erin back!
Killing intent spread, but Long Yi was unafraid. Though the man in front of him was powerful, Long Yi, as a giant, had his own advantages. The conditions for using his power were strict, but in a single move, it was uncertain who would die!
"Please stop."
Erin finally spoke again. She took a deep breath, knowing that if she didn't return today, her grandfather would be furious. Not only would she suffer, but her friends would also be affected. She thought she was finally free, but it turned out she was back under someone else's control.
"I will go with you. Let's go."
Erin lowered her head, feeling frustrated and dejected, her anger almost suffocating her.
"Sis."
Long Yi suddenly spoke, and Erin looked up to see him smiling at her.
"When you see your grandfather, just say what you want. He is your grandfather, not your enemy, and he won't harm you. Remember, confident people don't throw tantrums."
Erin listened to Long Yi's words, and an image of him in battle involuntarily appeared in her mind.
What a kind of confidence!
Confidence!
Erin thought, and her expression suddenly brightened.
"Thank you, I understand. I will be strong!"
Erin said with a smile.
Then she turned to Rand. "Uncle Rand, I'm sorry, please forgive my stubbornness. Let's go now."
Rand nodded and looked at Long Yi meaningfully. This Long Yi had such a great influence on the Miss! Rand hadn't seen her genuinely smile in a long time!
Nodding at Long Yi, Rand had some appreciation for him.
