Turning his gaze away from Saeko Takagi, Lin Yifan felt that at this rate, the virus would eventually spread to this small county.
"Hey, Hirano, don't go to school this afternoon. If the virus really breaks out, you know what to do, right?"
Hirano straightened up and saluted Lin Yifan, "Understood! I'll go and buy survival supplies right away."
"Thanks for the trouble, you'll have to go out again."
Hirano's chubby face broke into a smile, "It's no problem. I have to prepare for the possible dangers in the next few days. I'm really grateful that you told me, Senior Lin."
"Alright, go ahead."
Hirano, who had just finished his fried noodles, hurriedly rushed out. For a moment, only Saeko Takagi and Lin Yifan were left in the abandoned construction site.
Hirano burped and tossed the lunch box into the nearby trash pile, which was full of wrappers he had carelessly thrown away.
Saeko Takagi stood there dumbfounded until Lin Yifan leaned back on the sofa. She couldn't help but ask, "What about me?"
"What about you?" Lin Yifan glanced at the tsundere and squinted his eyes again.
"Hirano, that otaku, has a task, what about me!" Saeko Takagi pointed at herself, clearly dissatisfied.
Lin Yifan opened his eyes and feigned surprise, "Huh? Why should I give you a task? You're the girl I kidnapped. Don't get too cocky. I don't plan to trust you easily. What if you try to catch me off guard again?"
"You!" Saeko Takagi glared at Lin Yifan, but her glare only worked on Hirano. Lin Yifan pretended not to see it.
After several deep breaths to calm herself down, Saeko Takagi spoke in a gentle tone, "I want to survive too. I want to prepare. If it really is as you say, I can't just wait here to die."
"Hmm? What do you plan to do?" Lin Yifan looked at the 16-year-old girl with interest.
Saeko Takagi crossed her arms and lifted her chin, "I'm going to tell my father to use his connections to seal off the surrounding areas of Saitama to prevent the virus from spreading!"
"It won't work. Do you think you're smarter than the leaders of other countries? Or do you think the Self-Defense Forces are all idiots who would let zombies through? Others aren't stupid, but they still can't change the situation. What we need to do is survive."
Lin Yifan chuckled and shook his head. There are always people who think they know best, imagining what they would do in the apocalypse, treating everyone else like fools. Just like this tsundere in front of him, a master of armchair strategy.
Saeko Takagi was stunned for a moment before arguing, "But! We can seal off the roads. Before the zombies arrive, we can seal off the main roads. It's better than letting the zombies into Saitama."
"That's a feasible plan, but if the zombies can't get through, what about the survivors? They will do everything to break through the Self-Defense Forces' blockade and get into the safe zones. Some infected but not yet fully mutated people will also come in."
Lin Yifan's words left Saeko Takagi speechless for a long time, "No... No, if they're infected, they... they will harm others?"
"It's possible. Some psychopaths might think it's better to drag others down with them. Besides, your idea is probably already being implemented. The authorities have likely sealed off the roads already."
Lin Yifan didn't think the Self-Defense Forces would be so stupid as to not use a method that even a high school student knows. The blockade is certain, but it will eventually be breached, and some will slip through.
Saeko Takagi closed her mouth, biting her lip, anxiety flashing in her eyes, "Let me go, I won't leak any information."
Tearing open a bag of chips, Lin Yifan shook his head, "No way."
"Please... please." Saeko Takagi moved closer, tears welling up in her eyes, looking pitiful.
Suddenly, Saeko Takagi grabbed a trash can and threw it over Lin Yifan's head, then quickly got up and ran towards the door.
"Little sneak!" Lin Yifan threw the trash can aside and, just as Saeko Takagi was about to open the door, he stepped on it with his foot.
Saeko Takagi struggled to pull the door but gave up and instead grabbed a pillow from the sofa and started throwing it at Lin Yifan.
Lin Yifan grabbed Saeko Takagi's arm, and she shouted, "Bastard, you stink, scum! Let go, let go!"
He let go and pushed her away. She stumbled back a few steps and accidentally hit her head on the wall, causing her to squat down and hold her head, sobbing softly.
Lin Yifan, holding the pillow, froze, feeling he had gone too far. He didn't like Saeko Takagi much, mainly because she was a right-wing extremist, which was a toxic point. If she could change, it would be better.
Taking a deep breath, he put down the pillow, walked over, and pulled her hand away to check her head.
"Are you okay?"
"Go away!" Saeko Takagi weakly pushed Lin Yifan away with her shoulder, hugging her head and sobbing softly.
Lin Yifan, pushed away, sighed and shook his head, then approached and forcibly picked up Saeko Takagi. Her petite 155 cm frame felt small in his arms.
"Don't touch me, don't touch! I can't... I can't stand it..." Saeko Takagi struggled, and Lin Yifan slapped her.
But it wasn't on her face; he slapped her bottom because children who don't listen need to be disciplined.
Saeko Takagi let out a cry and was thrown onto the sofa. Lin Yifan rummaged through his backpack and pulled out a small bottle.
The painkiller from the survival kit was useless for healing wounds but could alleviate pain, making death less painful.
"Don't move!" He held Saeko Takagi down, poured a little painkiller on his hand, and gently massaged her head.
Saeko Takagi, held down, trembled all over, lying on the sofa, unsure what Lin Yifan was doing. She clutched her skirt, afraid of being violated.
Gently massaging her head, he blew on the spot where she had hit it, "Better now?"
Saeko Takagi, tears welling up in her eyes, looked up and said, "Not... not painful anymore."
Lin Yifan lay on the sofa, covering his forehead, "I should have known better than to talk to you so much. I should have tied you up and gagged you. It would have been much more peaceful. I'm just asking for trouble."
Saeko Takagi sat up beside him, pulling down her skirt and clothes, and after a long silence, she said, "Thank you."
"Hmm?"
Turning his head, he saw Saeko Takagi hugging her legs, curled up. After a while, she spoke, "I used to hate you, just because of prejudice. My father told me from a young age that you were an obstacle to Japan's progress. I always thought you were bad. Now I realize you're not that bad..."
"So what?"
"Actually..."
Saeko Takagi started to fidget.
Noticing her flushed face, he wondered why she was blushing. It wasn't like she was in heat, was it?
"Actually what?"
Saeko Takagi bit her lip and lowered her head, "Actually... I... I..."
"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
Lin Yifan leaned in, walking in front of Saeko Takagi and squatting down to see her face buried in her thighs.
Through the gap between her legs, Lin Yifan saw that Saeko Takagi was crying!
"Hey, okay, okay, I'll let you go. I know you won't say anything." Lin Yifan waved his hands, feeling he had brought this on himself. He should have tied her up, this emotional tsundere.
"It's not... actually I..."
Saeko Takagi buried her head deeper, tears streaming down her thighs. From this angle, he could see her white and green striped panties, the same color as her school uniform...
Wait! Something's not right!
When he realized the problem, Lin Yifan's face turned green.
His face twisted, his mouth opened, but no sound came out.
"You... you don't mean..."
Saeko Takagi, biting her lip, looked up with tears streaming down her face, sniffing, "I... I need to pee!"
Instantly, the sound of water droplets echoed. Saeko Takagi, her face red, closed her eyes and cried out, drowning out the sound of the water.
Lin Yifan stumbled back a few steps and sat on the ground, watching the liquid flow from her panties, his face pale.
No wonder Saeko Takagi had been hesitant and wanted to go out earlier.
"You... why didn't you say so earlier?" Lin Yifan's mouth twitched.
Saeko Takagi, her face flushed, screamed at Lin Yifan, her voice filled with委屈, "How can a girl say such a thing! If I have to go to the bathroom under your watch, I'd rather die!"
