On the other side, Prosecutor Natalia sat alone, the only woman in the room, looking rather isolated and weak.

Hearing the District Arbiter’s taunt, Lin Yifan didn’t get angry; instead, he laughed. This guy thought he was just a nobody, which was perfect.

He slowly walked over to Natalia, glanced around, and noticed there were only two chairs in the entire room—quite stingy, indeed.

Seeing this, Lin Yifan calmly plopped down on the long table, plucked a grape, and popped it into his mouth.

The District Arbiter frowned. "Madam Prosecutor, you really need to discipline your dog better."

After finishing the watermelon, Lin Yifan leisurely picked up a bottle of mineral water and gargled in front of everyone.

Seeing this, the District Arbiter thought he had it all figured out.

"I’ve told you countless times, Liang Dong is not in my custody. I swear, as the Prosecutor, I have not detained anyone named Liang Dong," Natalia said, clearly losing her patience after explaining this many times.

The District Arbiter clenched his fists. "I know you come from a prestigious family and don’t lack money. But… Madam Prosecutor, let me give you a piece of advice. Why don’t you stop being a prosecutor and go home to tend to your flowers, enjoying the honor and wealth your father has provided? Why go through all this trouble?"

"Are you not going to hand him over? Fine, I can’t touch you, Madam Prosecutor. But this little lackey, I’ll make him wish he were dead," he said coldly, his eyes on Natalia but his finger pointing at Lin Yifan.

"Uh~ This champagne is quite good," Lin Yifan suddenly burped, completely breaking the tense atmosphere.

Lin Yifan played with his wine glass, his eyes narrowing. The carefree attitude he had been displaying vanished.

He had to keep it hidden and build up his strength before they discovered his true identity. Otherwise, he would likely end up like the previous Warden, erased from existence in a space no one knew about.
