After listening to the network administrator's response, Fang Linyan's head buzzed, and he felt the blood rushing to his head. Without any further hesitation, he glanced around and noticed that his electric scooter was still lying on the side. He immediately got on it and rode away.

After the electric scooter had sped a few hundred meters, Fang Linyan took several deep breaths, repeatedly muttering, "Stay calm, stay calm." Gradually, he regained his composure and slowed down to a normal speed. It was clear that he would not be able to arrive on time, but the only thing he could do was to clean up the mess. If he panicked and something else went wrong, he might not even have the chance to clean up the mess!

Soon, Fang Linyan arrived outside Huichuan No. 5 Dock. He had been here during the day, and it was just a deserted warehouse. Only some of the dock facilities showed signs of use, but they were also covered in dust.

However, under the cover of darkness, the place appeared eerie and terrifying, giving the impression of harboring infinite danger, making his palms sweat. Fortunately, there were large areas of low-lying land nearby, and many frogs were croaking, which helped to mask the sounds of his movements, making him feel a bit more at ease.

After arriving, Fang Linyan knew he was definitely late, and at least ten minutes late. But since he had come, how could he not take a look? Even if it was risky, he had to try. So he parked the electric scooter in a hidden spot and, following his memory from the day, tiptoed over.

The reconnaissance he had done during the day proved to be extremely useful. Fang Linyan quietly approached a nearby abandoned warehouse. He had secretly opened a window there during the day and left it slightly ajar. Now, he easily pulled it open and struggled to climb through.

At this moment, Fang Linyan, suffering from a terminal illness, found even the simple act of climbing through the window to be a great struggle, feeling as if a large stone was pressing on his chest, making it hard to breathe. He forced himself to suppress his panting and tiptoed to the second floor of the warehouse, then looked out toward the dock.

At this sight, Fang Linyan was greatly startled. The dock, which had been empty during the day, now had a yacht moored, bobbing with the waves. However, the yacht had only a few lights on, clearly to conceal its presence.

Not only that, but on the open ground in front of the dock, there were three cars, all black Lincoln Navigators. The headlights of all three cars were on, and one of them had its high beams on, illuminating the area brightly.

However, this place, which should have been bustling, was deathly silent, and even the sound of the distant waves hitting the shore was clearly audible.

These details aside, the key issue was that the ground was littered with bodies!

These bodies were all dressed in black suits, looking well-trained, and many of them had weapons in their hands!

Fang Linyan, who had come well-prepared, took out a simple pair of binoculars from his pocket and observed. He discovered a shocking fact: most of the bodies had expressions of fear, terror, and even distortion, as if they had been greatly frightened before their deaths.

Not only that, but their deaths were extremely gruesome, with severed limbs and even bodies split in half. Fang Linyan even saw that the door of a Lincoln Navigator had a long, half-meter-long gash, as if it had been struck by a sharp weapon, with the edges of the metal curled and smooth.

"It seems the situation is quite complicated... It looks like two parties were trying to make a deal here, but one of them got double-crossed?"

Fang Linyan muttered to himself.

Then, in the binoculars' field of view, something made Fang Linyan's heart race!

It was a box!

A high-tech silver box!

The very silver box mentioned in the mysterious text message!

The box had a crack, and some of its contents had spilled out. On the handle of the box, there was a pale hand! The hand was severed at the wrist, with a smooth cut, and despite being severed, the five fingers were still tightly gripping the handle of the box, showing how strongly the owner had wanted to protect it.

At this moment, Fang Linyan became extremely excited. He immediately felt an impulse to rush down, grab the box, and run!

It seemed that although he was late, he had not arrived too late. The box was only about twenty meters away, and he could disappear into the night with it in just five minutes!

Fang Linyan was a person with strong execution skills, never hesitating. Without a word, he bent over and ran down the corridor, panting, and arrived at the first floor. Just then, the sound of engines, "dudududu," came from the distant sea, and a large speedboat was seen racing toward the dock.

The searchlight on the bow of the boat cast a bright beam of light, and a long white wave trailed behind it!

Seeing this, Fang Linyan's disappointment was evident. However, his resolve, honed over the past few months, was unshakable, and he quickly made the best decision, darting into the adjacent warehouse.

Inside the warehouse, which looked spacious from the outside, was actually crammed with clutter, leaving very little space for a person. There was also an indescribable stench of decay. When Fang Linyan's eyes adjusted to the darkness, he drew a sharp breath, as he discovered something terrifying.

There was another person in the warehouse.

It was a woman in a suit, whose face was not visible, but her exposed skin was fair and smooth. The well-fitted OL outfit accentuated her figure, making it even more striking with her slender waist, giving a visual impact. However, a rusty screwdriver was embedded in the center of her back, piercing through to the hilt, hitting a vital spot.

It seemed that she had an incredibly strong will to live, as she had managed to crawl here despite her severe injuries. Fang Linyan took a deep breath, suppressing his unease, and tiptoed over. He could smell a faint, pleasant fragrance, but he didn't know what perfume she was using.

Then, Fang Linyan felt her nose, finding her skin cold and smooth, but no breath. He realized she was already dead and sighed in relief, then lay down in a gap nearby to continue observing outside.

However, as the saying goes, even the most careful can make a mistake. At this moment, most of Fang Linyan's attention was on the outside, and the rest was on the woman, so he overlooked a mini syringe on the ground beside him!

After the speedboat docked, two men jumped off. One was tall, wearing a black trench coat, and holding a very special silver gun in his hand. Fang Linyan felt as if the surface of the gun was shimmering with a ripple of light, though he wasn't sure if it was just an illusion.

The other man was even stranger, as his right hand held a small round shield! The surface of the shield had two red circles, and inside the circles was a blue and white five-pointed star, looking like a child's toy.
