At this moment, the battle situation changed again. Although Fangya was temporarily forced back, as soon as he stabilized his stance, he immediately grabbed a nearby rock and threw it at Seldon with all his might. As he gathered strength to throw the rock, the muscles in his arms bulged and glistened, demonstrating an extraordinary burst of power.
Seldon was still in a state of dizziness and disorientation. The rock struck his forehead with a loud slap, causing him to cry out in pain and stagger backward, blood streaming down his face.
As he threw the rock, Fangya also kicked a Lincoln Navigator in front of him. The vehicle, due to his monstrous strength, was flipped up several meters, rolling through the air and crashing down toward Gal, shattering the windows and creating a terrifying impact like a mountain collapsing.
At this moment, Fang Linyan also noticed a detail. Although Fangya seemed to have the upper hand, it came at a cost.
His chest was visibly sunken, and a large amount of blood-colored mucus flowed from the corner of his mouth. Moreover, when he kicked the Lincoln Navigator, it aggravated the wound on his abdomen.
This wound was caused by a direct hit from Seldon's bullet, creating a grapefruit-sized, bloody, and mangled hole. The force of the kick caused even more blood to spurt from the wound.
If these injuries were inflicted on an ordinary person, they would certainly be severe, and the person would likely be lying on the ground in agony. However, Fangya not only ignored these injuries but also fought with increasing ferocity, pressing two powerful enemies relentlessly!
Because of this, Fang Linyan believed that Fangya must be similar to a berserker, possibly possessing the ability to become stronger as his injuries worsened. This would explain his behavior.
Therefore, the best strategy for Seldon and Gal at this moment should be to prolong the fight and avoid direct confrontation. In this way, they would be the ones to laugh last.
To be honest, Fang Linyan's idea was sound. In fact, Gal shared his view. However, the problem was that Gal wanted to prolong the fight, but Fangya gave him no chance. Fangya's attacks were like a storm, making Gal feel suffocated!
Faced with the rolling car, Gal could only dodge. But immediately after, he had to face Fangya's claw, which attacked like a ghost. He could only raise his shield to block.
With a sharp "clang," Gal was completely overpowered in terms of strength. Although he managed to block Fangya's attack, he was forced to stagger backward. More critically, after another heavy blow, a new crack appeared on the surface of the blue-white five-star shield.
Gal finally managed to stabilize himself, but Fangya was already closing in, launching another series of storm-like attacks. Finally, under the repeated heavy blows, the shield shattered with a "crack."
But at this moment, Gal took advantage of the situation and leaped backward. The force of his punch combined with the backward leap allowed him to cover a distance of over ten meters, landing directly in the sea. He was indeed very calm, maintaining composure even in defeat and managing to escape.
After hitting the water, Gal swam away. His movements in the turbulent sea were smooth and effortless, indicating that he was a skilled swimmer. The surrounding light was poor, and if not for Fang Linyan's vantage point, he would not have been able to track Gal's movements.
However, Fangya also took a few steps and dived into the water!
Fang Linyan's pupils contracted instantly. Although Gal's performance in the water was impressive, comparable to that of a professional swimmer, Fangya, upon entering the water, moved like a torpedo, traveling at an astonishing speed. A trail of black, ethereal runes surrounded him, and a white wave formed behind him due to his speed.
This was far beyond the realm of "swimming," almost as if Fangya had a built-in propulsion system. In just a few seconds, Fangya caught up to Gal underwater. Gal, refusing to give up, grabbed the side of a nearby boat and climbed onto the deck, drenched and disheveled.
But at that moment, Fangya burst out of the water with a "splash," leaping onto the deck and striking Gal's chest with a punch. Fangya's claws easily pierced through, the bone-yellow tips even protruding from Gal's back!
Gal's face contorted in extreme pain, and just as he was about to say something, Fangya's lips curled into a sinister smile. With a wave of his left hand, Fangya's claws sliced through, and Gal's head flew into the air, a gruesome sight.
At this moment, Fang Linyan noticed something very strange. After Gal's death, his body gradually became transparent, and a large number of translucent, light blue digits, 0s and 1s, began to flicker within him. They quickly shrank, collapsed, and transformed into a blood-red, peculiar key, which Fangya immediately picked up.
Fang Linyan, who had witnessed everything, was drenched in cold sweat. Everything that had just happened was completely beyond his comprehension. His right hand tightly gripped a rusty fruit knife, which he had found in a nearby pile of debris. The handle was wet with cold sweat from his palm—
Although Fang Linyan was well aware that if he were discovered, the fruit knife would be of no use.
Seeing his companion die a terrible death, Seldon turned and fled. His vision had already recovered when Gal's shield was destroyed, but with Fangya and Gal entangled, he had no chance to shoot.
At this moment, he knew that staying would be futile and would only cost him his life. Fang Linyan, watching from the side, silently urged Seldon to run as far as possible.
If Fangya chased after Seldon, it would give Fang Linyan an opportunity to grab something from the box. Taking everything was unrealistic, but grabbing a handful was feasible.
However, it seemed that Fang Linyan's luck was running out. His prayers seemed to be in vain. After fleeing for over thirty meters and turning into the shadow of a nearby building, Seldon suddenly stopped.
His hands, holding the gun, were glowing, his expression fierce, his face flushed, and the veins on his neck bulging like blue snakes.
Then, he made a peculiar gesture! His hands swept outward as if trying to throw the gun. During this sweeping motion, he fired, the pale blue muzzle flash extending over a foot long!
Fang Linyan, witnessing this, was completely baffled.
At this moment, Seldon and Fangya were separated by a building, unable to see each other. Firing directly would only hit the wall.
If it were a tank's main gun, Fangya might have been injured. But even with the gun's power, it was impossible to penetrate two concrete walls and still cause harm.
However, to Fang Linyan's astonishment, the bullet fired by Seldon followed an incredibly strange trajectory, similar to a banana kick in football, bypassing the brick wall and striking Fangya, who was in hot pursuit!
Gunfighting Technique: Curved Trajectory!
A jet of blood suddenly spurted from Fangya's body!
Although Fangya's momentum did not diminish, he was thrown off balance and crashed into a nearby dilapidated warehouse, causing a loud commotion inside, followed by silence.
Seldon, having landed a successful hit, was now panting heavily, drenched in sweat, as if the shot had drained all his energy. He could barely hold the silver-white pistol, his hands hanging limply.
His eyes were filled with intense ferocity as he took a few steps forward, looking at the dilapidated warehouse where Fangya had crashed, muttering to himself:
"See if you can survive this!"
This battle was intense and dramatic, but it seemed to be concluded by Seldon's stunning shot.
To be honest, Fang Linyan had anticipated this outcome, but he was not satisfied. Seldon appeared to have only minor injuries, and if Fang Linyan were to reveal himself and try to grab the silver-white box, he would likely be shot in the head, or even kicked to death.
Seldon, without approaching the warehouse where Fangya had fallen, quickly retreated, throwing a Molotov cocktail inside. Flames immediately erupted, and within seconds, the warehouse was engulfed in a sea of fire.
He then rushed toward the remnants of a nearby abandoned crane, the highest point within several hundred meters. From there, he could either jump into the sea or control the area from a vantage point, giving him a significant advantage.
Just as Seldon was sprinting, a burning figure suddenly stood up from the warehouse window—it was Fangya. If a normal person were on fire, they would be rolling and screaming in agony, but Fangya remained eerily calm.
In Fang Linyan's eyes, Fangya stood silently in the flames for a few seconds, as if the burning flesh and sizzling sounds were not his own. Then, his eyes locked onto Seldon.
Fangya suddenly raised his left hand, which had only four fingers, the little finger being missing. He grabbed his ring finger and pulled it off, then tensed his body, drawing it back like a bow, muttering to himself.
Instantly, a faint, dark black mist condensed into strange patterns and designs around the severed finger, flickering continuously, looking very eerie.
Then, Fangya hurled the finger forward.
The finger moved like lightning, almost as if it had teleported, piercing through Seldon's forehead! The ethereal illusions around the finger transformed back into black mist, which then coalesced into a distorted, maniacal face, slowly dissipating.
Seldon's body trembled, his eyes wide with disbelief. He strained to look up, seeing the bent finger embedded in his forehead. His pupils gradually dilated, and he fell to the ground, lifeless.
After Seldon's death, his body also became transparent, transforming into a large number of 0s and 1s, which slowly disappeared, leaving behind a blood-red key.
Fangya walked over, and as he left the fire, the flames on his body quickly extinguished. However, his wounds were still bleeding, but his steps were steady, showing no signs of severe injury.
He picked up the blood-red key, then took out a light red potion, drank it, and closed his eyes, standing still as if resting.
The scene was now quiet, with only the sound of the tide and the crackling of the fire. Fang Linyan, not daring to breathe, wished he could sew his mouth shut. But at that moment, he heard a faint sound behind him.
This sound startled Fang Linyan, and he turned around to see the female corpse he had previously examined. Her hand was moving unconsciously, and she was making indistinct moaning sounds. Fang Linyan's heart raced as he scanned the area and noticed a discarded mini syringe nearby.
Clearly, the woman, upon entering, had realized the situation and injected herself with an emergency first-aid needle. The effects of the needle had been fighting against death for a long time and were now gaining the upper hand!
Of course, this was also due to Fang Linyan's lack of experience. A severely injured and unconscious person's breathing, blood pressure, and pulse could slow down to a certain extent, and would gradually recover when they regained strength. So, his initial judgment that she was dead based on a quick check was too hasty.
As the injured woman's movements grew more noticeable, Fang Linyan's facial muscles twitched. He took a deep breath, calming himself, and crawled over to her, pinning her down and covering her mouth.
However, despite being covered, the injured woman began to struggle instinctively, making indistinct sounds. If this continued, discovery was inevitable.
Faced with this harsh reality, Fang Linyan's lips tightened, and his eyes turned cold. He held the fruit knife in his right hand and plunged it into her, piercing through the ribs and into her heart, while still covering her mouth.
The woman's body convulsed violently, spasming like a shrimp out of water, but Fang Linyan held her down firmly. After a few seconds, her body relaxed, and she finally died.
Fang Linyan was drenched in sweat, his vision blurred, and he felt on the verge of collapse.
A few minutes later, Fangya exhaled a blood-red mist, his transformation state quietly ending. He returned to his original form, a muscular black man with scars on his chest. He somehow produced a set of sportswear, quickly changed into it, and put on a hood. He then picked up the silver-white box and disappeared into the night.
The outcome of this battle was unexpected!
Looking down at the warehouse engulfed in flames, which had turned the night sky red, Fang Linyan knew he could not wait any longer. Such a fire could be seen from tens of kilometers away, and someone might have already called the fire department.
He gritted his teeth and whispered to the female corpse:
"Sorry, if you live, I die!"
Then, Fang Linyan stood up, suppressing the discomfort from the murder, took out his phone, and left his hiding spot, entering the scene. He stayed near the bodies for less than a minute, then walked into the darkness, searching for something. In just five minutes, he mounted his electric scooter and left.
