Chapter 1.1: I was sent to another world (Part 1)

The world I saw was white.

I was drifting in a space where everything was white.

I was supposed to be pedaling my bicycle to work a while ago, but suddenly I was transmigrated to this mysterious space.

I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m so freaked out that I can’t stay calm.

“I’ve been waiting for you. Tadayuki Konno-same.”

I suddenly heard a voice calling my name and turned around to see a beautiful woman with a Japanese face, dressed in a beautiful, expensive kimono.

“Who are you? I don’t know you, but…”

“I am what humans call a God.”

The woman referred to herself as God in a voice that was almost captivating but without emotion.

If I were a normal person, I would snicker at her, but for some reason, I believed her without any sense of discomfort.

“So, what is the reason you brought me here? If you don’t get me out of here soon, I’m going to be late for work.”

“Well, I’m short on time as well, so let’s make this quick. First of all, you can’t go back to the original world. You will be sent to a different world of swords and magic. In addition, you will be given the ability of your choice as an apology for sending you to another world against your will.”

To put it bluntly, what she said was something I could not accept at cost.

However, I was able to accept just as easily as before that there was nothing I could do by screaming here.

It was not a matter of logic; it was more a matter of my soul believing that what she said was right.

If she was right, she would give me one of my favorite abilities instead of sending me to another world without my permission, so I’ll think about it for now.

“Can I ask you a question?”

“What is it?”

“Can you give me the ability to make a wish come true as many times as I want?”

“I’m afraid that’s impossible. In other words, right now you have the ability to make any wish come true just once.”

“I understand.”

It’s so obvious.

That would pretty much make me a God.

However, if a God was possible, an existence that surpasses God might also be possible… I suddenly thought of such a thing.

I’ve decided. Please give me the same ability as…

“Okay. Then I will do so.”

I won.

I couldn’t help but think that way.

In the anime industry, there was still no character that could defeat him, and he was always ranked first in the strength rankings.

I wondered if the self-proclaimed God in front of me understood the extent of that ability, but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want her to say no.

“Then I’m going to send you to another world now, but do you have any preference as to where you would like to be sent? If not, I will send you to the grasslands.”

The self-proclaimed God’s words made me ponder.

If not, I would send you to the grasslands…?

“I’d like to know the strength standards of the world I’m going to.”

“Very well. Then…”

“I have one last question for you. What do you want from me?”

“I don’t want anything. I want you to live freely in the other world. I wish you all the best in your new world.”

“And if you can, please kill –”

I’m not sure what she said to me.

A voice that seemed to sink into the blank space where Konno-Kun had disappeared echoed and faded away.
