**Slap!**
A crisp slap echoed, and Father's face twisted with a fierce expression: "Get out! Get out of the Dongfang family. From today on, the Dongfang family has no one named Dongfang Yu, and I, Dongfang Muxiong, have no son like you."
Wearing a casual outfit, Dongfang Yu's face was swollen red. He slowly walked down the cement road under the streetlights, looking back. The Haori Mountain Villa on the hillside was brightly lit, but from today on, everything in the villa would have nothing to do with him...
In City A, at the Jinyin Building, on the 18th floor, in a slightly shabby room, a figure suddenly sat up from the bed, "Slap" turning on the bedside lamp. Dongfang Yu leaned against the headboard, beads of sweat on his forehead.
He opened his phone; it was 11:12 PM. He let out a long sigh, the events of half a year ago still weighing heavily on him. Could he really not let go?
*Gurgle...*
In the middle of the night, his stomach suddenly growled, and he felt hungry. He searched the one-bedroom apartment but found nothing to eat. Dongfang Yu hastily put on his slightly gray clothes, grabbed some loose change from the bedside table, and left with his phone.
The old elevator slowly climbed up. Although the Jinyin Building was over thirty years old, its location was close to the center of City A. At night, it was bustling. After passing through a dim alley, he arrived at a street lined with food stalls, bustling with young people enjoying themselves.
"Boss, two bottles of beer, a plate of lobster, fried rice noodles, and ten yuan worth of skewers," Dongfang Yu said quickly as he sat down at a stall.
He often visited this stall, not only because the food was delicious but also because the boss was honest and offered better value than the surrounding stalls.
"Sure thing," a woman in her thirties responded. It was said that her husband had died in a car accident a year ago, leaving her to raise her seven-year-old daughter alone. She only had an old lady to help with the cleaning, so the stall was small, with only four tables.
Soon, the food and drinks were served. After two bottles of beer, he stood up, slightly tipsy, and paid the bill. However, the boss stopped him.
"Have a cup of hot water. Be careful," she said, handing him a paper cup of hot water.
"Thank you," Dongfang Yu said, taking the cup and leaving. The hot water made him feel much better.
He passed through the dim alley and entered the elevator. Without much thought, he pressed the button for the top floor.
As the elevator slowly ascended, Dongfang Yu's eyes narrowed, then suddenly widened in shock. The floor indicator lit up, showing the 19th floor, which he had just pressed.
"19th floor? How is that possible? Did I press the wrong button?" The elevator continued to rise, and the 19th floor button lit up, leaving Dongfang Yu in disbelief. He lived on the 18th floor, the highest floor of the Jinyin Building. What was the 19th floor?
This inexplicable and eerie event sent a chill up his spine, and the dizziness from the alcohol instantly disappeared.
*Ding.*
Just as Dongfang Yu was stunned and unsure how to react, the elevator arrived at the 19th floor. The door opened with a clear sound, and without waiting for him to step out, the elevator slowly faded away and disappeared.
A stream trickled, a gentle breeze blew, and silver moonlight shone down, creating a rare and beautiful scene. However, Dongfang Yu stood there, dazed, his mind in chaos. Looking around, he found himself on a hillside, with a narrow path at his feet.
Just as Dongfang Yu was unsure where he was, a figure came down the hill, humming an unknown tune. As the figure approached, he saw a young man in a green robe, dressed like a scholar.
"Scholar? Am I in a movie? Or have I traveled back in time?" he thought, surprised. Since there was someone, he decided to ask.
"Sir, greetings. May I ask your name? Where are we, and what year is it?" he asked, bowing in the ancient manner.
"Sir, greetings," the green-robed scholar replied, bowing back. He looked at Dongfang Yu's "strange attire" with surprise but did not ask more, answering honestly: "I am Duan Yu. We are in the Wuliang Mountains, and it is the thirteenth year of the Bao Ding era of the Dali Kingdom."
"Wuliang Mountains? Duan Yu? *The Legend of the Condor Heroes*?" Dongfang Yu was stunned, reflecting: "Are you the Prince of the Southern Town of Dali, Duan Yu? Is this the Wuliang Mountains? Are you going down the mountain to find someone to save Zhong Ling?"
"Hey? Who are you? How do you know me and Zhong Ling?" Duan Yu looked at Dongfang Yu with even more surprise.
No one knew that he had secretly left Dali, and yet this young man not only knew his identity but also his purpose for going down the mountain.
"Am I dreaming? How did I end up in the world of *The Legend of the Condor Heroes*?" Dongfang Yu was dumbfounded. The events of the night were too bizarre. Taking the elevator home, he ended up in the world of *The Legend of the Condor Heroes*?
"Sir? What's wrong?" Duan Yu asked, seeing that Dongfang Yu was silent.
"Oh, my name is Dongfang Yu. As for how I know your identity, well, I am known as the 'First Divine Calculator' in the martial world. I can deduce your story with a finger snap," Dongfang Yu said, improvising.
"First Divine Calculator?" Duan Yu looked at him with doubt, half-believing and half-disbelieving.
Before Dongfang Yu could say more, footsteps approached. Two figures came down the hill, acting suspiciously.
"Sir, hide quickly," Duan Yu pulled Dongfang Yu into the roadside bushes. Soon, a young man and woman appeared. The man said, "Little Sister, there's a stream here. Let's stop for a drink."
The two were disciples of the Wuliang Sword Sect, from the Eastern and Western branches. The branches were at odds over the right to live in the Sword Lake Palace and the Immortal Sword Dance on the Wuliang Jade Wall. However, these two disciples had a secret relationship and had taken advantage of the crisis caused by the Shennong Sect's attack to secretly leave and run away.
"Wuliang Jade Wall? Right, there are the *Beiming Divine Skill* and *Lingbo Weibu* in that valley," Dongfang Yu thought, listening to their conversation.
Suddenly finding himself in the world of *The Legend of the Condor Heroes*, Dongfang Yu was initially dazed, but now he felt a surge of excitement.
Among all the martial arts worlds, the *Beiming Divine Skill* was one of the top martial arts, and *Lingbo Weibu* was a top-notch movement technique. With these two skills within reach, how could Dongfang Yu not be tempted? Regardless of whether he could return, he was determined to obtain these skills.
The two disciples were engaged in a tender conversation, and the female disciple was breathing heavily. Their banter was amusing, and Duan Yu couldn't help but chuckle.
In the quiet of the night, how could the two martial arts disciples not hear? A loud shout, and the Wuliang Sword Sect disciple drew his sword.
Run!
Duan Yu had no martial arts skills, and neither did Dongfang Yu. Thus, they both turned and ran, with the two Wuliang Sword Sect disciples, slightly disheveled, chasing after them.
After about a quarter of an hour, the Wuliang Sword Sect disciples shouted, "The two of you, stop! This is the forbidden area of the Wuliang Sword Sect. If you dare to intrude, you will die without a trace!"
Would they really let us go if we stopped?
Such threats were ineffective, and Dongfang Yu and Duan Yu continued running. After a while, the sound of rushing water grew louder, and they saw a waterfall ahead, like a silver river cascading from the sky...
Perhaps due to the poor visibility at night or the long run, Duan Yu suddenly let out a cry and fell off the cliff.
"Should be here, right?" Dongfang Yu quietly noted the spot where Duan Yu fell.
Although he knew Duan Yu would be caught by branches and survive, Dongfang Yu was hesitant to jump down, as he didn't have the same "main character aura."
After running for a while, the two Wuliang Sword Sect disciples were no longer in sight. Dongfang Yu waited for a few hours until dawn. He then found some vines, returned to the waterfall, and slowly climbed down...
